Paris Airshow Day Two Highlights | Tamil | தமிழ் | English Subtitles
I went to Paris Air Show, the world’s largest and largest air show in France, and attended for two days. On the second day, I saw all the different types of aircraft and did a tour. This is all going to be in this video. While doing the first day comparison, I was attending a lot of meetings rather than doing the aircraft tour on the second day . But still this video has a lot of interesting stuff. So watch till the end. And if you haven’t seen the first part yet, I have already uploaded it on my channel. I have covered a lot of things in detail . If you haven’t seen it, check it out and watch this video. As usual, the shale of Qatar was left immediately after it was gone. I didn’t watch it properly in the rush to post the first day live , so I went to the second day and watched it again to see if everything was there. I don’t know anything about Perusa . Real trophy for the Champions League . I stopped there and took a photo and displayed their new economy class seat on the side. The seat design was very good to see. I don’t think the butt seat pitch thing is too much for me . Those with long legs will definitely hit the seat in front of them when they sit down. And it’s kind of uncomfortable. It doesn’t seem like there is anything wrong with So Seat Pichha. The screen size of Bud if was very large. And from what I have seen, I think this is the largest size display in the economy class. And the response rate was very good. We have seen a similar type of if on the A350 with Nethu Emirates . And the response rate was similar. And I don’t know any big difference. The response with if is good. Coming to the economy class, the response with if is really good. After seeing the economy class, they displayed their Quezon Next Jana on the next road. Qatar Airways also executes the same same strategy in the aviation industry. They are not only executed but also very successful. While all the airlines have given their business class a lot of attention, only Qatar Airways released their new business class design Q Suite at the 2017 ITb Berlin event . The design had many features like customizable seating, privacy door, world’s first double bed . And for all this, the Cattaraves have made a patent document. So Appa just started. From then till now, only business class with Qatar Airways will never be called business class. So Annai’s 2017 release is the upgraded version of Kyushutto, which is the Kyushut Nektion that we are watching today. Compared to the first version , many improvements have been made. Instead of manually opening the sliding door , they have changed it to motorized and automatic opening . They have increased the length and width of the petto . And if the Yoda display has been upgraded to 4k, only five airlines in the whole world are doing 4k, and if Qatar Airways has done so much, it has created a situation where no one can have a proper experience. Pikas has made a new order for this new business class product, they have given a statement that it is going to be released only in 7x aircraft, that is why it has not been released even though it is a proper product. But already there was a big fight between Qatar Airways and Airbus. They also compromised . But because of that problem, a good relationship between the two companies has gone. So far this engine has produced more thrust than the commercial engines produced by the manufacturer and has given a world record. On paper, this engine should produce a maximum of 15,000 pounds of thrust. In butt testing, this engine surpassed 134,000 pounds of thrust and set a record. Why did I say that this engine is the most advanced, because they have incorporated a thing called this engine fault code. So Full Authority Digital Engine Control. Using this feature, you can control engine fuel flow, adjust power, start the engine, shut down , optimize performance, and many other things can be done easily with the help of sensors. It is actually ready in most of the commercial engines. GE Aerospace has brought a dual channel technology called Digital Twin Tech to this GE9X . To put it simply, even the smallest changes happening in the engine can be seen in real time virtually. With advanced sensors , data processing is very fast. It processes hundreds of data per second such as engine temperature, vibration, rpm and pressure difference and even if it detects a small abnormal performance in the engine, it will start to give a warning signal . Since this is a bit of a big topic, this paragraph is detailed and dedicated I will post the video in future. So, when comparing this G9x with its earlier version, the G90, it has been designed to achieve 10% more fuel efficiency . A lot of people are calling this engine a game changer in innovative manufacturing for a lot of things. But if I see this engine as a game changer, it is because of the ceramic matrix composite materials used . This material has been used for the first time in a commercial jet engine . Because it is a pearl composite, it is not carbon fiber or glass fiber like normal use . There are many differences in structure, usage and performance between the two materials . While a carbon fiber composite material can withstand temperatures up to 400°C in a normal environment , this ceramic fiber composite can withstand up to 1300°C. This material has all the potential to open up many opportunities and possibilities in the future and lead a next generation of commercial aviation. So commercial aviation is using it for the first time, so many companies have adopted it and started using it. But it’s all in 7x hands. A lot of changes will happen in the market if Boeing only releases that one aircraft . But I don’t know when it will be released . So basically I can’t leave here. Just a few corrections to the statements I made in this video:
1. While the GE9X engine is famous for its use of Ceramic Matrix Composites (CMC), it’s not the first. Earlier engine like the CFM LEAP already started integrating CMC in engine shroud.
2. Regarding autonomous eVTOLs, Wisk is not the first. Chinese company EHang has already begun autonomous operations, making them an earlier entrant in this space.
3. Lilium has reportedly filed for bankruptcy recently, which puts their position in the eVTOL race into question.
