What car would you import to the US with a budget of $25-30k?
Thinking of importing a car from Japan with budget of 25-30k. I was set on a s15 but trying to see if I’m missing anything else cool to import. Pic of my project car since I’m required to add an attachment.
Toyota century v12 for me. If you want a luxury car and not a sports car

A JZX90 with a turbo’d 1JZ and a 5 speed. You can find one around that price range that isn’t beat to hell and they’re fantastic cars for projects. They’re comfortable, 4 doors and of course the 1JZ is a stout engine platform.

Nissan laurel mainly because I’m familiar with pretty much the c33 laurel platform If I had to choose for a daily it would be a c35 laurel mainly because it’s similar to a r34 gtt (sedan) the wheelbase is about the same if i remember correctly
Not to mention pretty much all of the laurel models from c32–c35 pretty much share some parts with the skylines and silvias

I imported a mark II tourer V recently at the low end below 25
92 Honda CR-X del Sol SI-R, Trans-top and Captivia Blue. Preferably on the Japan dealer only Honda Access Snowflake wheels. Should save some money out of that budget too.
