There’s one more way to get to Osaka from Singapore now, with Peach
Aviation’s new Singapore-Osaka (Kansai) flights from Changi Airport.
This is the airline’s second medium-haul international route after
Bangkok, and will be commencing daily flights from 5 December.
Peach Aviation is working with local travel agency EU Holidays as its
official General Sales Agency (GSA) and country representative, and
director Alan Ang shares that there may be potential for future
 opportunities with the airline.
“This is our first step into airline GSA; We will be helping them
with their administrative and technical issues in Singapore as well as
 marketing and promotion,” he said.
“[The Singapore-Osaka route] is our main priority, but we may be
working on the possibility of domestic flights or internal connections
between Kansai to other parts [of Japan] because of Peach’s diverse
 network of domestic flight connectivity.”
Satoru Endo, chief corporate planning officer of Peach Aviation,
said: “We are very pleased that Peach will be the only Japanese airline
 to operate the Singapore-Osaka route.”
He further stated that the airline’s decision to connect Singapore
and Osaka followed the success of the first medium-hail international
route between Bangkok and Osaka, as well as the current depreciation of
the Japanese yen and “far stronger” demand for inbound flights to Japan.
Roomier seats, comfier flights
Peach Aviation’s new Singapore-Osaka route will be operated by the by
Airbus A321LR, which features a wider seat pitch compared to the Airbus
A320 that is used on short haul routes.
With a seat pitch of up to 81cm – on par with full-service carriers –
the Airbus A321LR can offer a more comfortable inflight experience to
travellers on the 6.5-hour flight between Singapore and Osaka (Kansai),
complete with in-flight charging ports for electronic devices.
