Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel Review | Tokyo Disney Resort
[Music] Hey, and welcome to a new vlog. Today we are at the Celebration Hotel here at Tokyo Disney. Uh this is going to be a Disney hotel, but it’s going to be located away from the theme parks. In this resort review, we will give you a room tour and we’ll also show you around the resort. We can’t wait to share it all with you. It’s time for an adventure. The Celebration Hotel opened in 2016 and it’s classified as a value type of hotel by Tokyo Disney, which means that of all of the Tokyo Disney owned hotels, this is going to be the most affordable hotel option. It is comprised of two different buildings, and each building has a different theme. Right now, we are in the Wish building, which is going to focus on theming of dreams and fantasy, and you’ll see a lot of ties into the park as well. The front desk is located on this floor as well as guest services where you can leave your bags if you would like. The other building is going to be the Discovery which focuses on more adventure and discovery theming. I’ll show you that whole building here in a second, but both buildings are going to have a similar layout and similar amenities that are offered. And if you prefer one theme over the other, you can just select either the Wish or the Discovery theming when you select your room type. When it comes to guest rooms, there are a variety of different options to choose from. Some of the different options will impact your view, such as a standard view versus a garden versus an ocean view. It is really nice that you are on the water here and can have water views if you would like. There’s also differences in the room type based on if you want more guests, so triplets or superior room. We went with a corner room, which is for three people, has two regular beds, and the dayb bed. And when you walk in, um, again, I really like the layout of this. And one of my favorite details is the large mural that you have above the beds. This mural, you will see something similar to this in all of the Wish rooms, regardless of which type of room you select in the Wish building. Again, if you select a discovery room, then you’re going to have a discovery mural and inspired discovery inspired theming throughout your hotel room. And moving into the bathroom, you have a small sink with some counter space. And then in one side of the room is the shower and tub area. And they did include some little details like stickers on the wall as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I’ll show that closer here in a second. And then separated with another door is the toilet. And then there is a dayb bed in the corner room. So the dayb bed can also be used to sleep. So if you have three guests, this also is available. So this is just an idea of what the bed looks like with the blanket pulled down and the sheet underneath. One of my absolute favorite details in here is the wallpaper. So, it’s very subtle, but I love the different ride vehicles and characters that they have on the wallpaper in here. When it comes to amenities, they do provide pajamas for you to use during your stay, which is uh very nice. There’s a hot water kettle and glasses if you want to have some coffee or tea in the morning. And then there also is a safe and a mini fridge, which are going to be located directly under the TV in the room. So, uh, again, a very simple room, but they have, uh, pretty much everything that you would need. When it comes to hanging up items, there is a small hook in the front when you first walk into the room, as well as some hangers located behind it. And they do also provide slippers. So, if you would like to use the slippers during the stay, you can use those. Or if you prefer to take them with you as a souvenir, that’s also available. And then, uh, here’s just a kind a closer look in the bathroom of those sticker details. And then again, they do have the shampoo, conditioner, and body soap if you want to use those. And then lastly, when it comes to features in this room, you do have a balcony. So, just walking out here to the balcony, we do look out over the water. And then again, because we have a corner room, the balcony is going to wrap all the way around to the side. So, I really did enjoy this aspect of the hotel room. Now, let’s cover the amenities at the hotel. And the amenities are going to be uh more minimal on the minimal side again because of it being a value resort. One detail that we really did like are these topiaries located in the center area of the hotel. They had some fun details and then at night time we really enjoyed the fact that they lit up. So, it’s a very pretty area just to be able to walk through or potentially overlook with your room. For food options, there is the Wish Cafe. The Wish Cafe will serve a buffet breakfast. However, um they do not serve lunch or dinner right now. So again, just be aware of that if you are staying at the hotel. If you are here arriving later at night or want something midday, they do have vending machines uh with some drink options that are available. And then there is a small convenience store. So, the convenience store is going to have uh beverages as well, as well as um chips and candy. They do also have some other grab-and-go style food options if you’d like any of those. Uh, another thing to note in the hotel as well is that it does not have a traditional gift shop. So, if you’re wanting any souvenirs, we definitely recommend buying those souvenirs in the theme parks. Uh if you do want anything at the hotel, the convenience store does have some small well uh Disney inspired items. So they have some small Disney items uh if you want to check out any of those. And then uh when it comes to some final amenities here, they do have some things such as a press coin machine. So if you’d like to use that, that’s available. And then they do also have some vending machines. So, if you want to do like the claw game or um any of the other games to get the vending machine items, those are here as well. When it comes to getting to the theme parks, there is a free shuttle bus that is provided for hotel guests. The shuttle is going to take about 20 to 25 minutes to get from the hotel to the theme parks. And with this, it’s going to leave approximately every 10 minutes from the hotel in the morning and late evening. However, if you want to take the bus in the middle of the day, it’s going to arrive about every 20 minutes. There is a timet provided, so just be aware of that when you’re planning to go to and from the hotel. And finally, here is some of the theming in the Discover Building as opposed to the Wish Building. And again, the Wish Building and the Discover Building are just located across the street from each other here at the Celebration Hotel. With the Discover Building, the theming is going to be tied around adventure and discovery. And you notice that again as soon as you walk into this lobby space, you’re going to notice a lot of details tying to the theme parks, just as you did with the Wish lobby. But they did a really good job with making sure the theming and uh all of the details in here definitely feel very different from the lobby of the Wish building. One of my favorite details is the glass uh art that they have here. We love that they have the Tower of Terror High Tower building here right off the lobby. They do also have a bunch of ride vehicles such as this Journey to the Center of the Earth ride vehicle. For food, again, same setup, but here it’s called the Discover Cafe. They also will be a buffet style serving only breakfast. And then similar to the Wish, they’re going to have a convenience store and uh similar amenities when it comes to this building. So again, very very similar layout. The one uh difference is going to be in the garden area. You’ll have uh adventure inspired topiaries. So that is again another minor difference. I want to share our overall thoughts about the celebration hotel here at Tokyo Disney. While the theming is really cute, so I appreciate the murals on the wall and everything in the room is very clean. Uh the big downside for us is the time and effort it takes to get to the theme park. So you have to take a bus. The bus is about 20 minutes long. And so because of that, we would actually not recommend um staying at the Celebration Hotel when you come here to Tokyo Disney. Uh there’s a lot of other good options, both the off-propy ones as well as the Toy Story Hotel. If you’re looking for more of a value resort, we would definitely recommend that one first. Um but thank you so much for following along with us and we can’t wait to bring you on our next adventure. [Music]
