Lifestyle show Metro Home will feature the Philippine Pavilion at the 2025 World Expo in Osaka, Japan, in a special episode airing tonight at 8:30 on Metro Channel.

The episode marks the program’s first foray abroad and takes viewers inside the pavilion titled Woven, a rattan-clad structure highlighting Filipino craftsmanship through over 200 handwoven textiles created by local artisans.

Host Anton Barretto meets with pavilion designer Carlos Calma, a Filipino architect and visual artist, who says the eight-month project pays tribute to the 18 regions of the country. The textiles, made from sustainable materials, aim to showcase the nation’s cultural diversity and rich weaving traditions.
