Leaving Tokyo Behind: A New Journey Begins in Osaka
All right, everybody. Welcome back. So, today we are leaving this Airbnb where I’ve been at for the past two months. It is a different room, though. But we are going to go to Osaka on the highspeed rail, the Shankansen as it’s known. But you can see there, I got all my stuff. It’s all ready to go. It’s all packed. I don’t really bring a whole lot of stuff with me, but that’s that’s just how it goes, my life right now. But um we’re going to yeah, we’ll get to Tokyo station and from there it’ll be a few hours, but we’ll arrive at the highspeed rail station in Osaka and from there we’ll get to my new apartment. So, I’m just glad to have everybody with me on this journey. So, here we go. All right, we’re on the Maruchi line. We’re on the way to Tokyo Station. Quiet here as usual. And there’s my stuff right there. It’s a straight shot on this line. No, no transfers. We’ll be there pretty soon. So, see you at Tokyo Station. Right, we’re getting into the highspeed rail here. Highspeed rail. Getting on. We’re on. Got to find a place to sit now. All right, I found a seat here. We’re on the highspeed rail. Isle seat. This looks like to the back of me. Nice and quiet. Really quiet here. Way quiet. All right. I’m on the train here. I’m on the Shinkansen to Osaka. But I can’t be too loud here. So, I was going to share reflections on where I’ve been and where I’m going here, but I’m going to wait till I get to my new place here in Osaka. So, see anybody there? I just got off the train here in Osaka. I’m about to go to my place where I’m staying at. But that’s the Shinkans right there. And I’m about to take the walk. Going to get on the metro here. So, see you in a minute. Success [Music] on the way. There’s highway right next to it. It’s right there. We’ll be there in a minute, very soon. All right. So, here’s outside of where I’m staying. It’s a bit further away than I thought from the uh from the subway, but it’s pretty quiet here. It’s fairly quiet. Now, it’s traffic. And there is the top. It’s pretty tall, but I’m going to go in. I’m fairly tired here, so I got to put my stuff in there. Okay, so this is my new room in Osaka. So, this is the outside hallway there. And this is the inside here. Here we go. And um that’s bathroom. I had to share the last bathroom. So, this is definitely an upgrade there. Private bathroom. We got two beds. There’s lots of space here. Two beds. I got a desk where I’m going to be working and a TV. I’ll probably never use. It’s fine. I And I got my own refrigerator, Wi-Fi. I got everything I need pretty much. And the balcony. Here’s the balcony. That’s the view from outside the balcony here. Balcony. Yep. Here’s my room. Okay. So, this is the view from my apartment at night. It looks pretty, doesn’t it? There’s a park over there. There’s a parking lot. And that park is where I’m probably going to jump rope. I do like to jump rope on its own. It’s a great exercise. And that way is Nambbo, which is the night life area, the main nightlife area of Osaka. It’s actually not that far. I thought it was pretty far, but I was dragging my stuff with me. And it seemed pretty far. But I’m I’m glad I’m here. I made it in one piece. I’m always a bit worried when I’m in transit like that to keep track of my stuff even in a place like Japan here. But um I’m happy I made it here with no mishaps. All right, everybody. So before I end today, I just went and maybe like reflect on what I’ve done so far and what I will do. So um was in Tokyo for 2 months and I basically learned how to vlog there. Um did the walk and talk videos of famous tourist attractions. Also did a few other things. did food vlog sukijiji and also I did the language reaction videos Chinese tourists there speaking Chinese to him that was a lot of fun but that’s also very hard to pull off but thankfully very thankfully I had Oriental Pearl to teach me how to do this and also I collabed with her for also another language reaction video and also I did an interview with her on her channel and from there things really blew up for my channel And I was very happy to see that. But yeah, I’m going to be here in Osaka, I think. Yeah. Yeah. For a month. I have to I have to be here for a month. Um I can’t be here beyond that because my tourist visa I’m on a tourist visa. It’ll expire. So I have to go somewhere. And in Osaka, I’m just going to basically do what I did in Tokyo, but in a different environment. I’ll do like the of course the walk and talk vlogs to share what I know about Osaka in Japan. And um also I’ll do a food vlog. And yeah, I almost forgot. Yes, I’ll try to do another martial arts video as well here. There’s also another gym that I like here. It’s very fun, a very fun place to be. It’s called a 3K gym. I’ll go there. And uh what else am I going to do? Oh yeah, I’m going to do more language reaction videos because those get the most attention by far. It’s not even close. People love to see me speaking Chinese apparently. So, I guess I’m going to do more of it. The market, the internet has spoken. So, yeah, I’ll do that. More Chinese language reaction videos for Chinese tourists here in Osaka. And yeah, also I’ll go to neighboring places. I’ll go to Kyoto. I’ll go to N. We’ll see places there. And um and yeah and also I think um yeah after the months is over I will be going to Hong Kong because I need to get a tourist visa there and then from Hong Kong I will go to China. So China I’m very excited about China. So some people are worried I’m going to China but I’m hoping when I get there I can show everybody what an interesting place it is. So, um, yeah, China is ultimately the goal here. I think I’ll be okay there. I I did live before in China 4 years and I speak the language okay here, but I think I’ll be okay there. But yeah, that that’s where I’ll go after Osaka, Hong Kong for tourist and I’ll go to mainland China. But anyway, I think I’m going to stop it right there. So, thanks again for watching these videos. I really do appreciate it. And maybe let me know in the comments where would you like me to see or what do you think of my new place here? I quite like it. It’s a bit bigger. I got my own bathroom here. That’s nice. And um and yeah, um if you have like um also any recommendations, maybe a place I haven’t been to yet, I would love to hear that as well. Tell me tell me where I should go in Osaka. But I’ve been to lots of places here. So yeah, like I said before, I’m going to show everybody around to all the places I like to frequent here in Osaka whenever I’m here. Yeah, I’m going to stop there. So anyway, if you like my videos, please don’t forget to subscribe to my channel. And I will see everybody for the next video.
After spending two months in Tokyo learning how to vlog and developing my style, I’m now boarding the Shinkansen for a high-speed ride to Osaka, where a new adventure awaits. Tokyo was a city of discovery, full of challenges, growth, and countless moments that helped me find my identity as a creator.
This video captures not only the thrilling journey between these two iconic cities but also the emotional experience of leaving behind a place that shaped me, one I know I’ll return to someday.
As I look ahead to new experiences in Osaka and prepare for what’s next, including my upcoming trip to China, I invite you to join me and witness this exciting and meaningful transition.
