Okinawa’s Most popular Noodle Ship

People line up before opening for these noodles. And now we know why. We visited Aun, one of the most popular noodle shops here in Naha. Got there before they open. The decor is super stylish. The staff are friendly and the table is full of condiments to customize your bowl. Satoshi went with the beef and bean sprout soba. This had a super rich broth packed with umami and tons of tender beef. I went with their bun bun sobba, their signature dish with stewed pork belly, pork ribs, and a massive piece of melt inyou mouth pork. The broth is clear but deep in flavor. The noodles are bouncy and chewy, and that pork, I have no words. It’s just so good. This place really deserves the hype.

We tried Eibun in Naha and it was absolutely worth the wait.

Satoshi had the Beef & Bean Sprout Soba — beefy, rich, and full of umami with bouncy housemade noodles.
I went for the Bun Bun Soba — their signature dish topped with stewed pork belly, ribs, and a huge slab of pork.
The soup is light but flavorful, and the pork was unbelievably tender.
Honestly, both bowls were amazing.
If you love noodles, don’t miss this place when you’re in Okinawa.
