We are going to Mount Fuji today after finishing our trip in Tokyo. Before we set off, I wanted to rent a Jimmy to drive. This time, we found a car rental company owned by a Hong Konger. They are very good and provide a service to deliver the car to the hotel. For people like us who want to start driving in the middle and late stages of the trip , we can directly pick up the car downstairs from the hotel, which saves a lot of time and money. It is really convenient. Before we set off, I kept watching Japanese driving teaching videos and watched a lot of Japanese parking and traffic rules. I was afraid that I would become a Japanese road problem. After I really got on the road, I found that the Japanese really abide by traffic rules and are very patient and polite. Compared with driving in the United States , there is much more room for error for foreigners like us. Driving in Japan is like moving forward on a conveyor belt according to number lines. It is rare that anyone will rush and everyone will keep a certain distance. If possible, I will prepare a 3D navigation next time so that I will not be afraid of getting on the wrong viaduct or tunnel. Because I was driving, I went to APIT AUTOBACS as my first stop. If you are a car fan , especially if you like Japanese car culture, you have to come here anyway . It combines car maintenance, car department stores, car modification , and even a bird house bookstore. Starbucks is simply a super Autobacs It is really fun to visit here . There are a lot of camping and equipment , some of which are special for cars. There are also a lot of outdoor clothing and many brand-licensed classic car model T-shirts that are very suitable for buying to show your faith. After leaving APIT , we got on the highway and headed towards Mount Fuji. Let me talk about my experience driving Jimny. I’m not sure if it’s because of the roof tent on the car. This car needs to be driven to the high altitude. The high-speed limit is very strenuous and the body of the car shakes quite seriously. Driving on a stormy night is really like being a boat in the ocean. Halfway through the journey, we went to a rest stop to eat something and experience the Japanese rest stops. They are probably similar to what we imagined. The food is quite ordinary. I have to praise Taiwan’s rest stops. In comparison, they are still good. As for vending machines, I think it is difficult for any country in the world to beat Japan. Gotemba is about a 45-minute drive from Lake Kawaguchi. Many tourists who are going to Mount Fuji will stop here to eat or go shopping in outlet I am not a person who will go to outlet because most of the outlet brands I don’t like brands and I don’t want to shop just because they are cheap. However, Gotemba premium outlet is different . Maybe it’s because it’s close to Mount Fuji. There are many outdoor or sports brands here , and the prices are really cheap. For people who like this style, it’s basically heaven. I recommend you to go shopping at Oakley in Japan. Because Japan has Japanese lines, the clothing products are different from American products. The clothing designs are very simple and the materials are all functional fabrics. The texture is very good , and the price is cheap. It’s very suitable for daily wear. As for Nike , there are probably no special styles , but there are many practical styles or popular styles in Taiwan. Here, they are super cheap, and the price is about 2,000. There are many shoes that cost less than 100 yuan or even less than 1,000 yuan. It’s no problem to buy three or four pairs at a time . We drove for about an hour on a rainy night to reach Kawaguchiko from Yudenba . After all, we were unfamiliar with the place and the visibility was not good. The roads in Japan are quite small , so we have to drive carefully. We came to this restaurant , which should be a place that tourists would come to eat. We ordered soba noodles and udon noodles with their tempura flavor for dinner . At least we have something to eat so late at night , which should be satisfying. If time permits, there are still some home-cooked restaurants around Kawaguchiko. It would be a more interesting experience to eat some snacks and drink some beer. On the first day, we stayed at Sunrise resort The hotel’s lakeside Betsu Senichikei is an old-school hotel. It has a very traditional feel in terms of both appearance and use of space. It’s just that we arrived a little late and didn’t go to the public hot spring, which is a pity. The hotel is divided into general hotel rooms and lakeside rooms. The latter is where we stayed. It has a better unobstructed view of Lake Kawaguchi and Mount Fuji , but the price is a little more expensive. The whole room is tatami and the space of nearly 20 square meters is very comfortable. In the early morning, you can choose to enjoy your own million-dollar view on the balcony. You can also enjoy the beautiful scenery while taking a hot spring bath. Even people like me who have no vision of Mount Fuji will be shocked by the scenery in front of me. After leaving the hotel, there will be a series of various Mount Fuji itineraries. Let’s first eat the famous local Hotei noodles. The one we chose is Bucheng. It can be seen that this should be a very popular dish because the buildings of several famous Hotei noodle shops are built in a special and high-end way. Not only foreign tourists, but also Japanese tourists and even locals will come to eat hoto noodles . The taste is a bit like knife-cut noodles or noodle dumplings. It should be a really good soup. There are radish, vegetables, pork and other things in the soup. We also added some croquettes and raw horse meat. As for whether it tastes good or not , I would not describe it as delicious just as it is a special local cuisine. It is better to experience it. I have no regrets if I didn’t eat it. Then we came to the famous photo spot, Nichiren Stone Store. It may be too many tourists, so it is quite dangerous. Now there are people to control it. The advantage is safety. Many disadvantages are that during normal hours, a group of people cross the road together, and there will be no empty scenery to take pictures. There is a very cute small food truck next to the photo spot that sells some drinks such as coffee and matcha. The owner is very friendly and it is a favorite store of many international tourists. Take a walk to a local supermarket. There is a very peaceful feeling in the countryside. Although it is not a very high-end supermarket , its sashimi and cooked food areas are not sloppy. Everything looks delicious. If you are afraid of being hungry when you return to the hotel at night, buying some cooked food here is also a good choice. Because there are not many itineraries around Mount Fuji and the hotel we stayed in at night is quite expensive , we drove over to check in as soon as the time came. in couple is located halfway up the mountain. The modern and contemporary decoration is low-key and blends in with the scenery. It is surrounded by trees , and the opening of the valley is facing Mount Fuji. Mount Fuji, which is slightly obscured by the trees in the foreground, looks a bit hazy. The lakeside view the day before is completely different. The couple’s room is in Western style, like a warm cabin. The living room is separated from the room and also has an open-air bath. There are two chairs near the balcony . You can also enjoy the beautiful view of Mount Fuji from here. The hotel’s dinner is in the restaurant in the basement. The environment is very comfortable. Each seat is quite hidden to ensure that you will not be disturbed by the neighboring table. In fact, I never expected the dinner provided by the hotel. I didn’t expect it to be surprisingly delicious. Although the meal was very exquisite , it didn’t feel fancy but not practical. I got up the next morning and took another bath , then walked around the hotel , had breakfast , and then prepared to check out and leave the hotel. Oishi Park should be the most famous park in Kawaguchiko and the park with the most tourists. It’s a pity that when we came, the flowers were not in bloom and it looked bare. However, there is still a great angle to see this natural life museum in the middle of Mount Fuji. It is also a souvenir shop. If you need to buy souvenirs, you can come here to visit. It ‘s about 10 kilometers from Oishi Park. There were not many people on the way to West Lake. This should be a relatively unpopular tourist attraction. You can drive directly to the sandbar. There are people rowing on the lake. There is also a camping area next to it. It is quite chill here. If you don’t like places with too many people, I recommend coming here. Before returning to Tokyo, you must visit the famous five-story pagoda in Arakurayama Sengen Park. Climb up from the Shinchang Fuji Sengen Shrine for about 10 minutes and you will see the five-story pagoda. Climb to the observation deck at the back and you can see this world-famous superb view.
