So Shibuya compared to Shinjuku and other area in Tokyo, it looks narrower. I don’t know. Somehow it feels tight and narrow also because it’s too crowded. Still Shinduku I think Shinjuku streets are like wider as well. In Shiba everything feels narrow. I don’t know cuz it’s really narrow or the buildings are tall but the field is narrow. So let’s check out Shiba tonight. I think when was it last time I came to Shiba about a month ago. And this is seems to be new. It’s a ramen actually. It’s hot today. Even at night is warm, but still is not the hottest. Still, we are far from the hot summer in Tokyo. Then you got nothing. [Music] What’s going on? [Applause] Come on. Come on. Shiba is the second busiest station in Japan and maybe second I think second busiest station in the world and Shiba crossing is the biggest crossing in the world by the way. Super lively area but it’s not really very old in terms of history. used to be a small village here and I think the name Shibuya means Peter Valley. So and I think it was after just after World War II that becomes a fashion and culture paradise in Japan. Now, as you see, a lot of young people come to Shiba for fun. and resident instruction. This is prohibited from So I hear that no Shiva crossing. I’m going to take you there. Every time the light the traffic light turn green about in average 3,000 people cross the sha at once. That’s a lot of people. 2,000 people every time that the traffic light turn green. Another point in Shibuya that is very popular is Hachiko. It’s called Hachiko statue. So it stayed there and waited for the owner to come back but he never came back because he was dead until the dog also died. So this way the statue of Shuyo and the statue of uh Hachipo is located in the same spot and you can see actually the real dog as a taxiderermy ino science museum in just inside park. This area is Shibia Center. And as you see there are many Isizakaya and bars, snack bars and some club this area and Friday. Sugar is crowded every day, but especially on Friday and Saturday, more crowded. [Applause] There are many live houses and the music venue in Shibia too. Also, there is a red light area. Love hotel district. I’ll take you there later. Standing bar here. Oh my goodness. Hello. There are many cool cheap isizakayas in Shibuya. In general, average price of isizakaya is a little cheaper than Shinjuku. And the reason is because a lot of young people actually come to for drinking and the young people are not as rich as senior. And like earlier I explained the price of isakaya is a little cheaper in Chibia compared to other area in Tokyo. [Music] They have a lot of standing bar standing bar or ai in Japanese. Then we have a lot of of course koke. People usually go enjoy koke after drinking. [Music] And there are actually some private car for single people too. You can go inside and sing by yourself if you like singing. Then at later night you have a lot of nightclub too in Shibia. So if you want to dance, Shiba has many nightclubs from hip-hop to EDM to J-pop. You can find your favorite style in Chibia. And I think most clubs are open from 10:00 p.m. to the morning. Then we have girls bar and bar in Shibia too. This is Yakon. The price looks very cheap and there are some other type of bars as well in Shiva like some LGBT bars even they are mostly located in Shin but Shia also has [Music] showing piece of skill with the basketball wall. All right. And there are also some other hidden bars and rooftop bars. on top of some building. You can get the cool view of the town. Even there is one on top of the sky. Uh Tokyo scrambled building. There’s a actually cool bar on the top and I tried it two years ago. Not sure how is the situation now, but it’s cool. Oh, this part also is new. Wow. A lot of change, a lot of changes since last month. I don’t remember this, but [Music] popular mart cuz in Japan you can drink outside everywhere. No limitation.
