Very nice river walk from Umegahata Takaocho via #riverside to Saga Toriimoto in North #kyotojapan and pretty much the river #japanesecountryside 😉

Fairly easy to get to by bus if you don’t walk like me – see longer #walkingvideo earlier

Very refreshing walk especially to escape the Kyoto summer heat!

So easy if #visitjapan and Kyoto as grab a bus from Shijo-karasuma to Takao ( 45 mins it says ) then walk to Saga Toriimoto and from there easily walked into Arashiyama and it’s multitude of transport options
