TOKYO Left Us SPEECHLESS 🇯🇵 JAPAN Completely BLEW Us Away!

everywhere here so far, Tokyo, city of
41 million people. It is so clean. a very good morning from the streets of
Tokyo. We’re now in a different neighborhood which I actually really can’t say so I do apologize
but we’ve traveled we’re just I think slightly south of Ginza and we are
going to go to our first little thing to do this morning. Look at this. These restaurants
have already got queues outside of them. Okay, we’re in the area of Kamiyacho station, which is
what I wanted to say, but I couldn’t remember it. And now I’m very excited, very happy to be out
here. Sun is shining. It’s another beautiful day here in Tokyo. We are here in the largest
city in the world, strolling the streets, a population of 41 million people, which blows
my mind every single day if I’m quite honest, which is absolutely crazy. We’re coming up
to the area of Aza Budai Hills. Hello to you, sir. Good morning, afternoon, evening, whenever
and wherever you might be watching. Kish all you beautiful people out there. Beautiful again. Oh,
look behind you tower. This used to be the tallest tower back in the day. We saw this on our first
day here in Tokyo. That’s insane. It was the old um yeah, broadcasting and TV tower. But right now,
we actually are going somewhere very, very fun. This is kind of not really an US thing, right? No,
this is a me thing, not so much you thing because I’ve been wanting to do this for so long. I tried
doing it in Singapore, didn’t really get the time. I’ve tried doing it in other countries as well. If
you’re still wondering what we’re talking about, we’re talking about Team Labs. So, Team Labs is
basically a digital um immersive art exhibition, art museum. Obviously, of course, we cannot
go anywhere without a 7-Eleven. I’m actually kind of shocked at how many um convenience shops
there are. like combinis I think they’re called. They are honestly everywhere like Lawson’s
family marks. Um 7-Elevens obviously though. It’s here somewhere. But is it? Yeah. For a city
of 41 million people out here. The roads are so well organized, so clean as well. That is the
one impressive thing that I have not been able to get over. The roads are quiet. I’ve not had
anyone honk so far. Very polite. A few electric vehicles as well. Yeah, I mean even this one’s
electric. All right, we’re meant to go left from the traffic light here. So, let’s see. I think
it’s here. But in this one, I think I think Yeah, you’re right. You’re right. It might be in this
building here. This building cuz I keep wanting to call it Dubai. A digital arts museum. Museum.
Where’s that central? B1 here. Okay. Hopefully, we’d be able to find our way down to B1 because
that’s where it’s meant to be. Planning a trip to Japan at first sounded overwhelming. There’s so
many tickets. There’s so many trains. There’s so many places to figure out. That is exactly where
Cluke comes in. They made things so much easier. Let me tell you, Cluke is literally our travel
bestie. You’re my friend now. Honestly, we use click to book everything from our Shinkansen
tickets to our Team Lab borderless tickets and even wild stuff like go-karting through the
streets of Shabuya Shabuya Scramble. Yes, we did it. That was insane. Go book it now. You won’t
regret it. Being able to see and book everything on Cluke, it honestly made the planning feel
fun and not frustrating, which is exactly how it should be. The best part, no complicated bookings,
no translation panic, just a few little taps on our phone and we were good to go. Most things were
confirmed instantly and then just save right into your app, which makes it super easy. As long as
you have your phone, you’ve got your tickets. So, you’re good to go. There’s no printing, no
paperwork. And if you’re planning your own trip to Japan or even anywhere else, then make sure
you go click the link in our description or the QR code on the screen right now. And you can use our
code Taz and Libby at checkout for a cheeky little discount. Cluke are our new travel besties, and
they should be yours, too. For all of your needs, wherever you are, they have something for
everyone. A huge variety. Go check them out. Grab yourselves a little discount with our code Taz and
Libby. Back to the vlog. Let’s go. So, we I think already have a voucher that we need to probably go
and exchange for a physical ticket. There it is. I see the sign up there. It looks honestly like it’s
going to be pretty busy right now. Look at this as well. This is kind of cool. We got a little
waterfall out there going on. I don’t know if you can see that against that back wall. Very, very
cute. Let’s go see. It kind of, like I was saying, does look really busy, but I’m hoping that once
we get inside, it probably disperses a little bit. But this is definitely a very popular thing
to do when you’re in Japan, when you’re in Tokyo. Thank you. If you have your QR code already,
life’s so easy. Sky Tree went straight in. Team Labs, I think, is going to be going straight
in as well. So, if you have to scare me, oh, it’s so dark I can’t see anything. I think
I’ll be switching over to another camera now to get some more light cuz it is getting a
bit dark. Let’s go. I am excited. I’ve been waiting for this for so flipping long
since even before Singapore. Let’s go. This is incredible. Oh my goodness. They what? Oh wow. This is insane.
I see Mr. P over here. And it’s like you’re like walking on the water as well. Does it move around
your hand? It goes slightly around. It’s going all the way up to the seed and the water comes down.
Is it going around me now? It actually is. It is going slightly around you on the edge there.
Honestly, this whole experience, this whole exhibition is actually really wicked. I’m really
enjoying it. I highly recommend if your friends, family, a couple, anyone. There’s something
here for everyone. Look at this room. Wow. Now, this one is absolutely wicked. It’s all mirrored.
This is insane. The roof is mirrored. The walls are mirrored. The floor is mirrored. How cool is
this? This is mental. I love this exhibit. So, so definitely guys, obviously the later you come,
the more busy the whole place gets in general. This is so wicked. So, I highly recommend that you
come here and check this out cuz it looks very, very, very cool. Team loves, that was incredible.
I highly recommend that actually a very fun activity to do while you’re here in Tokyo. But
look at where we are at the moon. Next stop, Tokyo Tower. Did you know this is actually
13 m taller than the Eiffel Tower? Oh my god, it is gale force winds out here all of a sudden.
I was not expecting that, but lo and behold, this tower is incredible. All right. So, I
was saying this is actually 13 m taller than um the Eiffel Tower and it is the tallest
self-supported steel tower in the world. That is uh pretty cool. How look quite big as well. It’s
333 m. If you’ve watched our previous vlogs, then you’ll know that in the first day we went to
Tokyo Sky Tree Tower and that was wicked. Really, really cool. So, obviously we had to come
around here and check this out. It’s in the same neighborhood as well as Team Lab.
So, if you’re in the area, come and compare them together. But we’re kind of thinking we
could do something a little bit sweet. So, we’re wondering maybe around in this area. I
just reckon they have like something to eat. I think so. This seems like it’s a shopping mall
here. Let’s have a look. See what’s happening in the area. Yes. I could really do with a coffee
or tea, a donut. Yeah. Do you know what? The donuts in Japan so far have been chef’s kiss.
Incredible. Okay. How polite are people here with uh Oh, thank you. with the zebra crossing. And
as it turns out, very polite. Japanese people are some of the politest that we’ve come across so
far. I’m not going to lie. People don’t jump cues here. People are so super quiet. There’s a lot of
social etiquette respect. I almost feel like I I’m worried something. Yeah. To offend someone. Okay.
This seems like a promising start. Yeah. Have a look at this. This is just to give you an idea.
Almond banana chocolate whipped cream. It says brownie on a sold. All right. Get in. I am going
to get in the queue. I think we’re going to get one with um a brownie and then what do you want as
the other one? I was saying the cream in Japan is so good in the donuts. It’s like Hokkaido cream or
something. I don’t know what it is, but it tastes divine. You best believe we have absolutely rinsed
all the 7-Elevens of family master donuts. Single place. We’ve sampled the donuts already. Hello.
Um, can we have banana almond brownie? Okay. One. Yeah. Wow. And then can we have the banana
caramel custard one? Okay. Thank you. Thank you, Arato. Hey, can I pay my card, please?
1,620 yen. Yeah. Oh, lovely. Easy peasy. So, that should be about I think about £8. So, we saw
this on foot. Couldn’t resist. Thank you, diamond. No receipt. Thank you. Let’s see in a minute.
Oh, look. There we go. They are doing them best, right? Oh, that looks really good. Look at
that butter. Yes, please. Thank you. Oh, that was done like to perfection. Right.
He’s like, I do this all day, every day. We got ice cream, milk mix, matcha. Japan’s
dessert game is on another level, by the way. The brownie 1151. Oh, this looks insane. Let’s
take some almond, some chocolate ice cream. Oh, that’s banging. All right, I got to share that
with you. I can’t just take that one. Thank you. Love it. Oh, it’s got cream in there. That’s what
I’m talking about. Japanese cream. 10 out of 10. We are just waiting on mine right now. It’s when
it comes. Let’s go back there somewhere. Find a spot. Sit under Tokyo Tower and enjoy. Oh, you got
it. Happy days. Come on then. You’re bringing all the goods. Yeah, you have caramel. I think when
we got here, there was no queue. Look at this place now. Oh my goodness. Yeah, that’s going to
be a while. I think it’s only the one gentleman as well. So, that would be a long queue now.
They’d be out there for at least half an hour, that’s for sure. But let’s find a spot somewhere
here. Oh, the wind’s picking up. I like it. So fresh. Here we go. Front row seats, madam. Let’s
go. All right. This one’s mine. Yes. Mine’s a caramel one, right? Yes. Yours is caramel custard
with cheesecake. And mine is um cheesecake. Yeah. And with and banana. And mine is with chocolate,
banana, almonds, um and brownie. Oh. Oh, mine is so good. Yes, Mr. Pigeon. What do you say, Kichi?
No. Brownie ice cream’s for you. Apparently, he’s got mates as well now. He’s bringing friends
over for a little party. And what do you rate yours out of 10? Mhm. Okay. Delicious. Oh, happy
days. The name of this place is Marian Crepes. Marian makes some great crepes. They have done
an amazing job. Oh, this is so fresh. I think we’re going to pile on so much weight before
we leave Japan. We are walking a lot, but I think the calories are absolutely winning it.
Okay, enjoy the view. Here we are. Tokyo Tower. You can also call it the Eiffel Tower of Japan.
It’s actually taller than the Eiffel Tower, so beat that. Anyway, time to destroy this bad
boy. Yeah. Yeah. Let’s do this. Woo! We made it. Okay. Hopefully, we can just go through this way.
Thank you so much. Lovely. Well, we made it. It’s getting rush hour time right now. That’s why the
trains are getting really busy. But we are here. Where are we? In Harajuku. And we’re right outside
of Takashita Street. This is meant to be like one of the main high streets here in Japan. This is
in the area of Harajuku/ Shibuya. We drove around here and Tekkashi is supposed to be one of like
the main shopping streets here. And I heard it’s really good as well if you like vintage shopping.
Is it? I I heard so. I don’t know. I know Japan used to be like great for thrift shopping and you
used to be able to find like really cheap stuff, but I think now that it got more popular, I
think it’s like an emphasis being on use. Yeah, it’s time for us to go green man. Let’s go.
Takasha Street. We’re here. We’re here. All right, let’s see what the hype’s all about. We heard a
lot about this place before we actually arrived here in Japan. It is busy. I can tell right now.
Very colorful as well. We got a unicorn out here. So, happy days. Okay, I see the golden arches
up there. Oh, you can’t go anywhere without the golden arches, you know. So, is this like your
typical touristy high street then? Is it? I just need some more food. Preferably something savory
this time around. waffle. I can’t I can’t do more sweet stuff. Libby just saw some more sweet stuff.
Strawberry waffle. I need something savory. So, let’s see what we can get our hands on. There’s
plenty to choose from. You can grab a good bargain here. Looks like there’s plenty on offer. More
crepes, more sweet stuff. That is a little bit of meat. We also have a dog cafe up there. I don’t
know if you can see that. Dog cafe up there as well. Yeah, we’ve seen quite a few actually.
Dog cafe, cat cafe, pet cafe, pet hotels as well. Look at this. So, this is a a dog cafe. And
we’ve got some dogs out here. Look at that. Oh, beautiful. Gorgeous. That is quirky. Right. Come
on. Plenty of souvenir shopping along here as well. I’m definitely hoping that we can find a
little bit of food down this spot. But ah look, this looks like um some vending machines here. Oh
yeah, side by side. We’ve got one more here. Yeah, for sure. And these are really popular as well.
These capsule toy shops. I’ve seen them everywhere so far. And they’re just It reminds me of um
in Taiwan when we went there. And they had claw machines absolutely everywhere. It’s kind of
like that here with these uh capsule ones. Look, there’s another one here. There’s loads. That’s
a baseball one. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So yeah, Tokyo is the vending machine capital of the world.
Taiwan in Taipei. It was the claw machine capital of the world. Literally everything and anything
that you can think of. True, true. Plenty of shopping spots though. We’ve literally got so many
different places as we go down. Oh my goodness. The sweet treats don’t stop. We’ve now got these
10 um like pastry bread kind of thing. I pretend every country that you go there’s always 10.
Doesn’t matter where. Strawberry Fet here. This is definitely busy, but not as busy as I kind of
expected it to be, but it still goes around the corner as well. Actually, more like cosmetic
shops. Honestly, these are everywhere. Wow, they never stop. Oh, we got some fancy
outfits over here. There’s more coming up. Oh, wow. These are crazy. Oh my gosh. How many more
crepes do you want? I was saying earlier when we were at Tokyo Tower, like Japan seems like they’re
really on it with that dessert game. Every other shop is a dessert shop, guys. You have a sweet
tooth in a half. So true. If we were looking for something sweet, we definitely should have come
down here. Wow. So, we’ve got a me cafe, guys. If you’re wondering what that is, micro piggies.
That’s insane. So, you can actually go in there, grab a seat. They give you a blanket. Aren’t these
meant to be like really novel pigs or something? Micro pigs. I think so. Yeah. These are Japanese
quirks here for you. That’s what we were saying. The one reason I love Japan. So many quirky things
happening. Table available. Please ask yourself. Hello. Have you got a table? For 25 minutes. It’s
3,300 for like 156. Yeah. For less than half an hour. A dog cafe. Now this is the dog cafe. They
are beautiful. Right next to Micro Pig Cafe. You’ve got a dog cafe. Where else would
you find things like this? Eh, honestly, isn’t that insane? That is incredible. Right.
You got some really funky shoes here on the side. Yeah. Japanese people really into their
sense of fashion. Some of the most welldressed people that we’ve seen in Asia are Japanese
and Korean. Kstyle noodle bar. This is your favorite noodle. There’s a shin. No way. So, you
can actually go in here and make your own noodles. Yes. All right. So, you choose whatever ramen that
you want here. You got like instant ramen. Choose it. 660 each pack, which is a bit deer cuz in uh
in a supermarket, you will actually get that for less than half price. But hey, all right. So, what
are you doing right now? You got shin ramen. Oh, these are the best. Absolutely incredible.
If you guys haven’t tried it, you have no idea what you’re missing in your life. All right.
After you got these stations, so they give you a bowl. Just putting the seasoning on and then we’re
going to get the water going. Kimchi 100 eggs an additional 100. Look at that. That’s just boiling
away right now. You’ve added the hot water. Oh, before I forget, they do it based on the level
of spice. Nonspicy, spice level two, spice level four, spice level three. So, we went for, of
course, level four. Like, these are instant ramen, but they’ve jazzed it up here. They’ve made it
into an experience and a half. But this makes me laugh when the alarm sounds. Beep beep. The
cooking is finished. Where’s the timer? Almost 3 minutes still. I never wait that long at home.
When the water starts boiling, it says you should stir. So, I just give it a nice little Yeah. Give
it a little mix mix. This is what we ordered. Uh the next order is fried chicken rice bowl. Looks
nice. It’s got vegetables. It’s got more veg on the side. Some fried chicken in nicely diced
and cut up. Okay. Lovely. Noodles all over my feeding your t-shirt already. I take it. All
right. It’s done. Did you hear beep? Yeah, I did. Which is why I came. Your tray is under
this without spilling anything downstairs. Okay. Here we go. Quite happy that he’s nice and
quiet here. Lovely. We can base ourselves here. All right. Mine’s looking beautiful. Fried
chicken. Some more veg. Is that rice as well? Oh, yeah. There’s rice at the bottom. We’ve got
a nice big place down here in the basement. It is so unassuming. I never thought it would
be this big. You wouldn’t notice. And actually, they do have seating upstairs as well, but
um I think it’s it’s construction right now, but they were saying, yeah, they have upstairs
and downstairs, so it must get busy. Are you about to try it? I think it’s cooled down enough.
So, yeah, we’re going to give it give it a go. All right. This was level four, by the way. Yeah.
So, giving you a little heads up in case if you don’t remember. Oh, that smells like fire. Does
it taste like fire as well? No, it doesn’t. No, actually. You’re smiling. My lips are numb.
My lips are like tingling now. But it is super spicy. But they are good. Delish. I’m already
owning it. I’m eating my bits, but I want to eat yours as well. Should I? All right. them noodles
and that food spot on. This is where we had it. Punik K style noodle bar. 10 out of 10. We’re
going that way. This place is picking up. It’s getting busy over here now. Definitely pick up a
bit more. Yes. When we arrive, it weren’t as busy, but I reckon these are the places that really
pick up when the sun goes down and the lights come on. For sure. I think in the evenings, right?
Oh, yeah. What have we got here? Fruits candy. Fruits candy. Well, is that like tangula? Yeah,
I think so. It’s like sugar. All right. I think we’ve come out to like the end there. So, we went
all the way around. This is the other side that we’ve just come out. So, we’ve done the entire
length of Takashita. Which way are we going now? That looks quiet. This looks busy. I’m walking
this way. Absolutely. Are we having a laugh? That’s another crazy place. All of these sweet
treat places are doing banging good business. I had no idea. What is going on here? Yes, we’ve
got kittens here now. Oh, these puppies. Yeah. These are so cute. Tiny. But can you buy them as
like pets or do you just leave them here and just play with them? I don’t really a pet shop. Is
it? Yeah. I don’t know what to make of this to be honest. Like they look cute, but they’re
like in cages still in a way as well. Yeah, cuz there’s a lot of pet cafe culture in uh
Japan. Dogs, cats, mini pigs, micro pigs, uh, otter flipping up. Otters I’ve never seen
in my life. Oh, you know what there is in Japan? There’s um Capy Barara cafes. Have you heard of
them? Yeah. I don’t know where they are cafe, but I know that they have them. I’ve seen them
all over social media, but I don’t know how like I really feel about them, you know, but all these
shops, buildings, and bits around. You got brands everywhere. port sides. It’s going a bit gray as
well, which is adding to the mood, making it look a bit more like London. We got Fender out here
as well for all of you guitar enthusiasts out there. Looks very much like London, but without
the bad foul smells. Yes, without the rubbish. The pavements are clean. Have a look. This is
incredible. What is that? I think it’s like a mark the path. Yeah, it’s not rubbish. Yeah, it’s
like this where they’ve like marked out where it is. The pavements here clean. Yeah, there you go.
Okay, that’s just markets. Yeah, I was like, wait, sorry. I was just saying it’s pristine. I see
something on there. But yeah, everywhere. So far, Japan, Tokyo, city of 41 million people, it is so
so so clean. It’s surprisingly clean. Like, I was not expecting it. And I also thought that because
of the lack of bins, it would make it dirtier, but it’s not. People just take stuff home with them.
It’s such a good like mindset. I love it. That’s another very important thing though. Like there
are no bins anywhere. Like let me know if you find bins anywhere on a pavement or the sidewalks.
You would never find any bins. Yeah, you can in supermarkets, 7-Eleven, Lawson’s, all of that.
Jazz, something’s going on here. Cosplay. Cosplay. I think it might be happening down here. Never a
dull moment here in Tokyo. Like wherever you go, wherever you see, there’s something going on. Do
you reckon it’s like a cosplay convention? Yeah, it’s like an event of songs. ComicCon Tokyo. That
looks really cool. I love it. Have a look here. This is so cool. This is happen in this place.
I like this neighborhood. We’ve got a lot of greenery in Tokyo as well, which is one thing I
was not expecting. I thought being a huge city, largest city in the world, that it would be full
of like a concrete jungle, but it’s not. Are we crossing? Yes. Let’s do this. Oh, straight
towards a big Dior and a Joe Malone. Very nice indeed. It’s got a very uh it’s more of an
up market kind of feel this area as well. Hello, doggo. Japan Dogo. Cute. That’s love. Yeah, it’s
beautiful. It looks like an affluent shopping area. I put it that way. Yeah, it’s very nice for
sure. High-end markets here. You got massive Dior like you were saying. Yep. Just on this side.
Very nice indeed. Honestly, like Japan has really surprised us and really blown us out of the water
like all my expectations. It’s really live up to the hype. Can I just say this is on the same level
as London in terms of tourism. So, that is one thing that we were not expecting here in Japan.
Like, this is so touristy. Flipping hell. Like, we’ve heard accents from everywhere, haven’t
we? Yeah. The world and it wipes out here. Like, we’ve seen literally the entire world in Japan.
It probably gets more tourism than London if I’m not wrong. I don’t know because we have been very
pleasantly surprised. I’ll be honest. I think if you stop here somewhere like maybe Shibuya or
something, you can probably hear every single language spoken on the planet within like 10
minutes. No, that’s actually so true. I reckon we could, Greenland. Let’s go. Let’s go. Let’s
go. Let’s go. Wow. What a day here in Tokyo. I have had again the absolute first time walking
through this crowd here. But honestly, guys, I think probably the vlog’s going to come to an
end. We’ve had so much fun. I think it’s safe to say we’re falling in love with Tokyo, right?
It is such an incredible city. So fascinating. Like literally every day gets better than the one
before. Absolutely banging for sure. So guys, if you made it this far, then we are going to finish
it up right here in Harajuku in Tokyo. Thank you very much for watching and we will see you at
some point somewhere in the next one. Let’s go.

  1. I took a trip to Japan once. It was an 11-day bus tour. Tokyo, Hakone, Nara, Osaka, Kobe, Kyoto and back to Tokyo. It rained for 10 of 11 days but it was still the best vacation I’ve ever had. Japan has the best hotels and hospitality, the best food and so much to see and do. The Japanese are wonderful people. I love it there so much I could live there and be very happy. I love your videos so keep ‘em coming😊

  2. In Tokyo or Osaka,
    Railways never cross other roads.
Railway must construct over- pass against other road, and metro, cause to avoid traffic jam.

    Meanwhile suburb area,railways cause traffic-jam.
    開かずの踏切 to watch videos!
Railways in suburb area are improving for multi-level crossing.

    Especially in USA,Canada.
    Australia,New Zealand,
    India and Pakistan, etc…
Railways never cause traffic-jam and railway crash.

Over passing railways, easily establish shopping street under the train, like a Ameyoko-market.

  3. 7:48 and Japan did apologise to France beforehand for exceeding the Eiffel Tower in height. dang. 1 man show for the crepe shop.

  8. There is a place on Harajuku Street where you can eat instant ramen on the spot, but all the instant ramen there is made in Korea, and Japanese people only eat instant ramen made in Japan.
The place is probably run by a Korean.
Since you came all the way to Japan, I wanted you to try some instant ramen made in Japan that is labeled in Japanese. Please look for it at a Japanese store.
Please note that real instant ramen made in Japan does not have the ingredients written on the package in Korean or other languages, but in Japanese.
Japanese people do not like spicy ramen. The ramen flavors that Japanese people like are tonkotsu ramen, soy sauce ramen, salt ramen, and miso ramen.

  9. Welcome to the food capital of the world! 🤣🤣🍦🍦🍧🍧🍰🍰
