【沖縄旅行9日間vlog(4K)】約50軒のカフェ,グルメ,ショップ巡り | ハレクラニ沖縄 | 人気スポット,絶品グルメを制覇! | 穴場カフェまとめ完全保存版
Thank you for watching. This is momoco 🙂 Today begins my nine-day trip to Okinawa. We thoroughly introduce approximately 50 cafes, gourmet restaurants, shops, the Halekulani Okinawa, popular tourist destinations, and more! We visited not only the standard spots in the north, central and south, but also many lesser known hidden gems and the latest cafes. In the description section, you can also find a map of the shops we visited and their Instagram information. Please watch in 4K quality:) We immediately rented a car and went to have breakfast! Ploughmans Lunch Bakery is a popular bakery with a terrace located on a hill in Kitanakagusuku, Okinawa. The ivy-covered building is surrounded by lush greenery, and the only sounds are the chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves. You can enjoy freshly baked bread and homemade soup made with local vegetables 🙂 Seat reservations can only be made from 7am on the day of the event. It seems to be fully booked on weekends, so we recommend making a reservation in advance! The avocado open sandwich is delicious with its special salsa sauce and the texture of the almonds. Apparently, bread often sells out by the afternoon, but the bakery is extremely popular and always busy with customers. We enjoyed the most blissful morning moment, taking in the greenery of the hills and the sunlight filtering through the trees…! I want to eat a big shaved ice! I’ll go to another cafe! Okinawa has been sunny all day since the end of the rainy season! “SUIEN” is an old-style Japanese café located in the middle of a forest. The shop, renovated from a wooden traditional house that is over 100 years old, is an extraordinary space surrounded by large banyan trees. The natural yeast bread that the owner has been making for about 20 years has a simple yet deep flavor. You can enjoy your meal in a relaxing tatami room, on the veranda, or on the terrace. I’m really looking forward to the plum shaved ice 🙂 Okinawa plum shaved ice in season. It has a good balance of sweet and sour, and is characterized by its rich fruit juice and delicious aroma. The brown sugar steamed buns were so delicious I’ll never forget them! Homemade chai latte with a hint of spice “SUIEN” is a fantastical cafe surrounded by nature, so much so that it has been nicknamed “The World of Studio Ghibli.” The cute black cat relaxes on the veranda or at the desk, or pampers customers. Many days the bread sells out by the afternoon, so it’s best to visit at 10:30 AM when the shop opens. We are going to the hotel “Halekulani Okinawa” in Onna Village. A luxury resort hotel located on the beautiful coastline of Onna Village. I stayed at the Halekulani Waikiki on my trip to Hawaii two years ago. It brought back memories of my honeymoon. The coral blue sea spreads out before your eyes. All rooms have ocean views and terraces and are spacious! You can also enjoy a sea view from the bathroom. A heavenly place where you can forget about time. I grab my flip flops and bag and head straight to the pool. The hotel has a total of five swimming pools. The ORCHIDO POOL, decorated with plumeria, the hotel’s symbol, is a very lively place. A quiet pool for adults only, surrounded by tranquility Take a break in a shady deck chair. You can also enjoy snacks and drinks at the bar next to the pool. After this, we plan to have dinner at the hotel restaurant and then plan the remaining 8 days! “House Without A Key” is popular for its open terrace seating overlooking the sea. This is a long-established restaurant with over 100 years of history, with its main store in Honolulu, Hawaii. “Uru” – a cocktail made with shekwasha and dragon fruit There is also a colorful cocktail made with plenty of mango and sugar cane syrup. On the terrace, you can enjoy hula dancing and live music while dining. By the way, the name of the restaurant is said to be derived from a novel written 100 years ago, “The House Without a Key.” As the name suggests, the restaurant has an open space where you can relax. The menu mainly consists of Western dishes incorporating Okinawan ingredients. It was delicious with shrimp and lots of garlic 🙂 The dining room is bathed in pink light from the setting sun. The music gives off an Okinawan vibe and is very appealing. It was an unforgettable trip! The first day ended in a flash. It was a very satisfying day. Tomorrow we plan to visit Nago’s cafes and try some delicious food. As soon as you wake up, you can enjoy the luxurious view of the blue sea. It makes me feel like my mind is becoming more and more settled. Today, I’ll be sightseeing mainly in Nago and Motobu Town. I’m looking forward to going to a cafe I’ve been wanting to go to! “Hyakunenkoya Ooya” is a traditional Ryukyu house restaurant that was relocated from a building that was over 100 years old. The black beams of this old house tell of its history, and the red tiled roof stands out against the greenery of the surrounding area. There is also a garden on the vast grounds. You can enjoy Okinawa soba on the terrace while listening to the sound of the waterfall. After waiting in line for about 30 minutes, we went in. Because it is a very popular restaurant, it gets very crowded during lunch time. Popular dishes include Okinawa soba and soki soba made with homemade fresh noodles, and Agu pork shabu-shabu. Okinawa soba topped with tender pork belly and a light soup based on bonito stock. I went to a few Okinawa soba restaurants, but I liked the Okinawa soba at Uoya the best 🙂 “Haconiwa” is an old-style cafe located in the forest of Motobu Town. It is a nostalgic space with an old-fashioned tiled roof and vintage interior decor. This quiet cafe was renovated from a 50-year-old old Ryukyu house, and it feels like time passes slowly here. The shaved ice is an unusual flavor made with passion fruit. The passion fruit seeds are crunchy and delicious! This shaved ice has a great texture and taste. The tableware collected by the owner is also cute! A long-established cafe surrounded by subtropical trees. The first floor has hearth seating, and the second floor has tatami room and veranda seating. You will be greeted by 100 unique shisa statues on the roof, in the garden, and around the veranda. Drinks and sweets made with Okinawan ingredients. The zenzai and drinks made with Okinawan brown sugar are especially delicious! The shekwasha cake is soft. The shop staff were friendly and talked to us, and we felt the warmth of the locals! We’re going to a bistro in the Nago area. A dining bar in Nago City. A popular restaurant that serves a wide range of dishes, from fresh fish and Okinawan cuisine to creative cuisine. Tender chicken breast with the sour taste of ponzu sauce. It was delicious…! This traditional Neapolitan pasta is topped with a large fried egg. The concept is that it can be used as an izakaya, restaurant, and cafe, so it’s easy to drop in! The sunsets in Okinawa are so beautiful every day that you can’t help but stop in your tracks. I went back to the hotel and went to bed. Tomorrow we will be visiting cafes in the north, visiting the Fukugi tree-lined streets of Bise, and visiting American Village! I wake up earlier than usual and go swimming in the pool in the morning. Adults-only pool in the Sunset Wing It’s a perfect location for sunset, with the whole area turning bright red in the evening…! There is also an indoor pool and a kids’ pool that can be used all year round. Today and tomorrow I plan to visit tourist spots in the central and northern parts of the country, and then go to the Naha area and the southern part of the country. This trip to Okinawa was decided six months ago, so I did a lot of research beforehand. “One Eight South” is a brunch cafe in Nakijin Village that opened this year. A cute golden puppy named “Roger” will greet you! The concept of the shop is “a pleasant morning.” It is open from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and has an appealing American atmosphere. A day that starts with the chirping of birds, clear air, nature, and delicious coffee. Classic buttermilk pancakes drizzled with syrup. The soft dough and sweet flavor make these pancakes the perfect treat! The store also sells tableware (Yachimun). There are also lodging facilities available, so this cafe is recommended for those who like camping 🙂 “FIFI PARLOR” is a popular parlor with wooden deck seating facing the sea. The octagonal design of the building is based on the motif of a coffee maker called a “makinetta.” The drinking cups are decorated with illustrations that represent Okinawa culture. It’s easily accessible by car, so it’s a great place to stop by on your drive around Nago. A South Indian curry restaurant in Motobu Town. I visited this place after hearing that their curry set meal was delicious. “Suriya” means “sun” in Sanskrit. This is a friendly restaurant where food and nature live in harmony, founded by the owner based on his experiences in South India. You can choose between vegetable or chicken soup curry. Gentle spices that are good for your body. Juicy chicken. “Sambal” is a curry recommended for vegetarians. We had a special time enjoying authentic South Indian curry in an old Japanese house. We will go to Kouri Island, a small island surrounded by emerald green sea. Kouri Island boasts a beach with exceptionally clear water, making it an ideal spot for snorkeling. “Yummy” where you can enjoy Hawaiian sweets such as malasadas and acai bowls I was soothed by the white sand and the sea. There were many people swimming in the sea. Yanbaru Logistics Center is the first roadside station in Okinawa Prefecture, located right next to Kyoda Interchange in Nago City. This is a popular driving spot in northern Okinawa, and it has a great direct sales and souvenir section! We also recommend the popular tempura and freshly fried sata andagi. “808 Poke Bowls Okinawa” is a popular restaurant in Onna Village where you can enjoy authentic Hawaiian poke. You can enjoy Hawaiian-style poke bowls made with fresh tuna, salmon, and octopus. This extremely popular restaurant is renowned for the authentic poke flavor that the owner learned to make in Hawaii! You can customize your poke with different fish, sauces, and toppings! The store is filled with Hawaiian goods and skimboards, giving it a tropical atmosphere. I arrived at Chatan American Village. I took a break at Zhyvago Coffee Roastery. The interior design combines the West Coast of America and the West Coast of Okinawa. There is a wide variety of sweets! The first floor is the roasting room and kitchen, and the second floor is the workspace and cafe seating. It is conveniently equipped with electrical outlets and Wi-Fi. Tomorrow, the fourth day, I plan to go see some typical Okinawan scenery:) “Pizza Cafe Kajinhou” is an old-style cafe located on a hill in Motobu Town. This popular restaurant offers a spectacular view of the blue ocean all the way to Sesoko Island from the veranda and windows. There is a line before the store even opens, and on weekends in particular, you may have to wait up to 90 minutes…! Luckily, we were seated on the veranda and were able to enjoy delicious pizza while looking out at the ocean. There is only one type of pizza, a small size that is just right for two people. I was surprised at how delicious it was! The homemade chewy dough and the generous amount of cheese make this a masterpiece. It’s so delicious you can see why there’s a line! The drinks are served in carefully selected containers. The iced tea comes with brown sugar. It gets crowded even on weekdays, so we recommend arriving a little before opening time. It was a happy time with the beautiful sea, nature and delicious pizza…! An Asian cafe located right in front of Kajinhou. The gazebo with hammock is popular, and it is a spectacular spot where the scenery changes depending on the time of day. The Asian atmosphere of Bali makes you feel like you’re in a resort 🙂 I ordered mango juice and baked purple sweet potato pudding. It is topped with purple sweet potato chips. The pho, cold noodles, and gapao rice sets are also popular and perfect for lunch! The main store of “Big Ice,” a street ice cream shop founded in 1975, is a four-story Western-style building with a ship motif. More than 10 varieties of ice cream are available, with nostalgic flavors that have remained unchanged since the shop first opened. You can see the ocean from any seat by the window. The weather is gradually getting worse… On a clear day, the blue sea and sky make for an even more beautiful view…! A relaxing walking course with a beautiful green tunnel. Fukugi trees were planted as a windbreak to protect seaside communities. The spectacular sight of around 20,000 trees grows here. Walking with the sunlight filtering through the trees and the sound of rustling leaves is a moment of happiness. It started to rain heavily, so we took a break at Fukusuke no Tamagoyaki, a restaurant on a tree-lined street. I had planned to rent a bicycle or ride an electric scooter, but gave up… It’s only a 3-minute drive from the Churaumi Aquarium, so why not come and visit on a sunny day! Starting today, I’d like to stay in the Naha area and do some sightseeing in the central and southern parts of the country. After arriving in Naha, we visited a long-established steakhouse in Okinawa. A staple in Naha, this is one of Okinawa’s top steakhouses, boasting around 9,000 reviews. I checked in before 9pm and entered the store after 10pm. Tomorrow I’m going to explore the southern part of the country. I’ve come across a lot of great cafes! I have been staying at Nest hotel Naha Nishi near Asahibashi Station since yesterday. A casual lifestyle hotel. Great location and value for money, highly recommended for your stay in Naha! The modern exterior and common areas incorporating greenery are also distinctive features. There is also a refrigerator, coin laundry, and plenty of amenities. It is a clean and functional space. It was really convenient because I could watch Netflix and stop by the hotel in between sightseeing! Today is the day to visit Itoman, Nanjo, and other places. I’m looking forward to it! “Ichigatsu to Hachigatsu” is located next to a quiet residential area in Oroku. The small interior, with a counter and one table, is an antique space that retains details from 50 years ago. The aroma of beans fills the store, creating a soothing atmosphere throughout the space. The carefully made hand drip coffee and lattes are excellent. Even just one cup will make you feel happy…! I also ordered some toast drizzled with pure Okinawan honey. I talked with the owners about Okinawa’s recommendations and coffee. The gentle and friendly personalities of the couple are also appealing. The store also sells antique accessories, with items from various eras beautifully aged. The honey on toast was delicious so I bought one. It was a lovely morning! “Uminchi” is a multipurpose spot in Itoman where you can enjoy picking sea grapes and gourmet food. This restaurant serves gourmet food made with sea grapes picked that morning. Okinawa soba is a luxurious dish made with fresh noodles kneaded with sea grapes and topped with sea grapes. I also ordered sea grapes and egg on rice! The flavor of sesame oil goes really well with the crunchy sea grapes. Next to the restaurant there is a shop where you can purchase freshly picked sea grapes. You can choose the texture of the sea grapes…! (crispy or crunchy) By the way, the specialty here is the “sea grapes ice cream.” If you’re interested, give it a try! Hamabe-no-chaya is a famous cafe in Nanjo City. It was completely renovated and reopened in June of this year. This cafe is famous for the view from the counter inside, where you can see the ocean from the double-hung windows. The scenery changes with high and low tides, so the staff told us that if we want to see the deep blue ocean, it’s best to come early in the morning! Apparently the sea and sunset are also very beautiful at high tide in the evening. Next time I’d like to visit at a different time…! Misaki Park is located on the coast of Nanjo City, offering a panoramic view of the East China Sea. The cobalt blue ocean spreads out before your eyes, and you can see Kudaka Island in the distance. The sea breeze is so pleasant that just standing there makes you want to take a deep breath. “Shokudo Karika” is a Nepalese restaurant located at Mihara Beach in Nanjo City. The seating is completely open-air and set up on the sand, allowing you to enjoy your meal with the sound of waves in the background. You can hear the song of the rock thrush and the march of the hermit crabs. If you’re lucky, you might even see some sea turtles. Authentic curry made by a Nepalese chef. The roux is made by simmering spices and vegetables for hours, giving it a deep flavor and making it super delicious! Not only was the location great, but the food was also delicious. There is a small beach store in front of the restaurant, selling lovely plates and accessories. Minatogawa Stateside Town is an American shopping street located in the foreign residential area of Minatogawa. This coffee shop is run by Okinawa Cerrado Coffee, a specialty store with over 30 years of experience. We offer over 13 types of carefully selected and roasted specialty coffee. You can enjoy coffee dripped on the spot by a JCQA certified barista. If you like the beans, you can purchase them at the store. I ordered another cup with a different type of beans. I was very happy to find such a delicious coffee 🙂 A select shop renovated from a foreigner’s house. Besides clothes, there is also a wide selection of Yachimun pottery. Don’t miss these items that reflect the owner’s playful spirit! There are also a lot of second-hand clothes. The bathroom was even used as a fitting room! Lifestyle & miscellaneous goods shop, “PORTRIVER MARKET” The store will feature tableware, chopstick rests, ceramic accessories, and popular basket bags from local workshops such as Issuigama. Founded in 1969, this is Okinawa’s most representative A&W store. Its charm lies in its retro style and exterior, which still retains the drive-in format. I ordered free refills of root beer, crispy and chewy fries, and a hamburger. Today was another fulfilling day. I’m looking forward to enjoying the last three days in Naha! We’ve moved to a new hotel and will be staying at “Anteroom Naha” in Miebashi from today. All rooms have a panoramic view of the ocean, allowing you to watch the ferries coming and going while you stay. Grey tones and white oak flooring. From the terrace facing the sea, you can see Tomari Pier and Naha Shinko Pier. It’s close to Naha Airport, so it’s perfect for your last day. The room was compact and convenient! Sobe Soba is a popular Okinawa soba restaurant in a renovated old house in Sobe, Naha city. There are many celebrity autographs, and it is a famous restaurant loved by both locals and tourists. “One Star Makanai Soba” is soba noodles topped with pork belly and cartilage pork ribs. The noodles are soft and the soup is rich, packed with the flavors of Okinawa. The juicy meat is infused with broth, and one bite will fill your mouth with a delicious, satisfying flavor. We found a small cafe with the aroma of coffee wafting through the air at the end of an alley on Yogi Market Street. “Rokkan”, which means “sixth sense”, embodies our desire for a coffee experience that transcends taste, aroma and space. The producers put their heart and soul into the beans, with a thorough roasting profile and hand-picking. You can really feel their passion for drip coffee! Rather than relying on recipes, each barista individually extracts the perfect coffee for each bean, so you can enjoy a different experience every time. Coffee after the meal. It was a blissful time! There is also a shop near Shuri Castle. This is a recommended cafe for those looking for delicious coffee. “nan*ne” is a hidden cafe and general goods store located on Tsuboya Yachimun Street. A select shop run by Ikutoen, a long-established Tsuboya pottery store. It is a space that collects items related to food, clothing and shelter. Yachimun and handmade items. Cute basket bags too 🙂 At the back of the miscellaneous goods space there is a small cafe corner with four seats and two tables. The soft serve ice cream made with milk from Tamaki Farm is rich and tasty! A short walk from Kokusai Street will bring you to Yachimun Street, lined with pottery and miscellaneous goods shops. The store’s name means “small and cute,” and inside the shop, there are rows of small, light Yachimun pottery. This brand was launched by a long-established pottery store in Naha that has been in business for over 330 years. The mugs and plates are in soft colors and feature motifs of grass and flowers, and each one has a different pattern. The size is also recommended as a gift. The simple and refreshing pattern makes it a great souvenir. The main store of “Ikutoen”, a long-established store selling Ryukyu pottery. We have tableware and shisa from the series that represents “Ikutouen”. Each product is hand-carved, resulting in a luxurious finish. We also recommend “yacchi&moon” and “kamany”. A coffee shop nestled in the maze-like passages of the market, marked by a red shop curtain. We handle a wide variety of coffee beans, including rare beans. The barista will explain the story of the origin and the flavor of the beans, and then you can choose your beans. This coffee, imported from Taiwan, has a rich flavor similar to black tea. It’s a special cup of coffee that can only be enjoyed here. Apparently the beans are sourced directly from local farmers, and you can sense the owner’s commitment to the coffee. A long-established jazz cafe located in an alley in the shopping district. The first floor is a classic coffee shop, and the second floor is a musical space surrounded by records and books. Records covering the walls and vintage clocks help time move along slowly. We’re going to a wine bistro in Naha, which we’d made reservations for a long time ago. Naha is exciting because there are so many delicious wine bars and bistros! “Yoshi” standing in the alleys of Tsuboya A bar where you can enjoy small dishes that combine Japanese and Western cuisine and natural wines. A dish of sweet peaches topped with white sesame paste. The fried shiitake mushrooms are topped with a generous amount of prosciutto and are absolutely delicious! There is a cat right in front of the shop. He is looking inside from outside the glass door. The oil pasta has chewy noodles. The nature wine that goes well with the dish is light yet rich in flavor. We had a great dinner time. We only have 3 more days to spend in Okinawa…! This cafe opened this year in a quiet residential area near Kokusai Street. The interior of the store has a natural feel with a wooden motif and plants scattered throughout, creating a relaxing space. The shop is two stories tall. There were many people working there. In the afternoon, they start selling popular donuts. I’d like to try them next time I visit Okinawa. Take a taxi to your next destination…! The Shintoshin branch of “Tacos-ya”, a long-established Okinawan taco restaurant. The interior of the store has a Mexican style and is colorful yet well-organized. I came here because I wanted to try the classic Okinawan tacos that are loved by locals and tourists alike. The signature menu item, the taco plate, is a set of tacos, taco rice, onion rings, and French fries. It was delicious, with plenty of ingredients and a perfect size! It goes great with beer. Located just past a lively arcade, this market is beloved by locals. Just looking at the colorful seafood, island vegetables, and rare cuts of meat is exciting. Another attractive feature is that you can have the fresh seafood you choose on the first floor cooked on the second floor. Matsuo Basho is a convenience store I found in a back alley in Matsuo. This is a select shop that carries additive-free foods, sweets, seasonings, and rare Okinawa souvenirs. The shop is located in a place called Matsuo, and there is a Basho tree at the back of the pond, which is why the shop is named “Matsuo Basho”! There is an eat-in space inside the store, so you can eat your purchases immediately. It’s a fun space with a selection of bread from famous Okinawan shops and popular local sweets. A coffee bean specialty store beloved by locals, located a 10-minute walk from Prefectural Office Station. This shop is popular for its cheerful and friendly owner and the coffee beans he roasts every morning. A cold iced coffee costs 250 yen. Perfect for the hot summer! On Ryugu Street There is a long-established izakaya called “Kozakura” that was founded in 1955. Since its establishment, the restaurant has continued to preserve the flavors of Okinawa. Everything was so delicious it was amazing! Kozakura’s specialty, “so-men chanpuru,” has a strong garlicky flavor. Goya Chanpuru has an excellent balance of bitterness, pork, and tofu. This is a really recommended izakaya! Attracted by the fragrant aroma, I came here to eat steak late at night… I went to a restaurant I’ve always wanted to go to to eat Okinawa soba! “OKINAWASOBAEIBUN” is a modern Okinawa soba restaurant located in Tsuboya, Naha. The unique menu items based on Okinawa soba are popular. Authentic broth and noodles. There was a line from early in the morning, so be sure to stop by! A select shop that sells pottery, glassware, and other items made by Okinawan artists. The sophisticated atmosphere and unique tableware were all wonderful. A small coffee stand located on a back street off Yachimun Street. I ordered a drink in a hideaway-like space. Beans sourced from Cellar° Coffee and Kanagawa black tea from Okinawa Prefecture. The last day came quickly. I headed straight to the airport. During my nine days in Okinawa, I experienced the kindness of the local people and ate delicious food. I hope this will become one of your travel destinations! See you next time in Seoul.
