MUST VISIT places on your first trip to Japan 🇯🇵 10 days in Tokyo and Osaka

[Music] let’s go [Music] what is this [Music] well we found flavor town we found chicken guy this is Guy Yeti’s fried chicken spot we got some tenders with some sauce delicious let’s go [Music] back of the bus even though we’re in the back of the plane the seats the seats do go back whoa [Music] 11 hours pretty good 11 hours though [Music] [Music] oh my god it’s our first real day out in Tokyo let’s go let’s go explore Shinjuku [Music] so it’s our first morning here we walk out the front doors of our hotel and there’s a couple with a really cute little schnowzer and it just felt like a good omen like this is going to be a good trip archie’s with us in our hearts glad he’s not with us in person cuz he’s not a good traveler but I think it’s going to be a good time the official first bite of the egg sando the Lawson’s egg sando it’s good it’s a really good breakfast i don’t know why we don’t eat this for breakfast back in the US but genius the can was surprisingly hot first meal in Japan melon pen con that’s [Music] yummy heat heat [Music] we found this coffee shop Comedas Coffee in the second floor of like an apartment not I’m so tired second floor of just like a business building commercial building and it’s really good super good value we got like coffee toast spreads all for like eight bucks US so pays to look up come to the second floor good first day huh yeah i think we’re both pretty exhausted but we wanted to have good coffee so it’s fun it is good too cheers let’s fall asleep [Music] first breakfast at Coma was good yummy now we’re going to walk to the National Gardens yo phone battle [Music] this looks massive so excited we need to walk off all that bread been having a lot of bread [Music] it truly feels miraculous to be able to escape the hustle and bustle the crush of Shinjjuku and come to this park it feels like stepping into some serene dream so today was free admission cuz it’s like Arbor Day or something for the Japanese environmental day equivalent yeah environmental day free admission normally 500 yen but cool down up down up drop up drop up drop up drop up drop up drop up drop up drop up drop up drop up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down [Music] up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up drop up drop up drop up drop up drop up drop up drop up drop up drop up drop up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up down up up [Music] Well the uh National Gardens doesn’t feel like Shinjuku but it feels very peaceful tranquil calm and it’s nice to chill here on our first day and we’ll go back to our hotel and freshen up and then hit in the night life [Music] this looks like Star Wars food matcha scone from Starbucks that’s good m wish we had it back home oh yeah plus got this yuzu iced tea it’s like strong tea and it’s not sweet either plus like slightly sweet with the yuzu flavor and that kind of pulp so it’s really citrusy perfect to relax at the garden [Music] so I feel like day one’s always hard in a new international place with jet leg but I feel like we did pretty good we got to some big stuff today so time to sleep [Music] when you know you’re going to be doing a lot of fun eating in the day this is a good way to start pro tip yogurt banana can’t go [Music] wrong just make sure when you come to Tokyo that you go to a bakery steakhouse heat [Music] [Music] heat heat heat [Music] n heat heat n [Music] so these are supposed to be the husband and wife trees i think that’s really sweet [Music] it is day two and we feel better yeah we feel better that jet lag is unreal the losing 16 hours is kind of nuts but we ended up walking this morning getting up early and walking to the uh Magi the Maji Jingu Maji Jingu Shrine which is in between Shibuya and Shinjuku so you could take the train but walking’s good too yeah it’s nice to walk we walked through really fun neighborhoods not along the main roads and I saw some kids going to school and architecture the houses so it’s a nice quiet start to day [Music] so we just experienced the Maji Jingu Shrine and now I’m thinking I want to hit as many temples and shrines as possible because I feel so transported here like it’s like stepping into the new Shogun show did you guys see that i hope you did it’s really good it’s just so mystical and it does feel sacred so I hope we can do more of these now that we saw the temple let’s go check out Harajuku something totally different lol [Music] yeah yeah [Music] here we go here we go here we go [Music] sweat Kokari sweat [Music] tastes like sweat just kidding it’s really good tastes like Gatorade sweating on Harajuku in Harajuku it’s like a lemony [Music] Gatorade fun to be here in Herajuku because like there’s just all this street food everywhere but it seems like the equivalent of like our fair food it’s like their version of fair food cuz it’s just crazy and wacky we might have to try something [Music] we’re on our way from Harajuku to the Shibuya Scramble and we found this building that has this whole park on the top level what’s it called nikashim mia mia anyway but there’s all these levels of shops and restaurants and on the top there’s this huge park space with a skate park huge volleyball climbing wall it’s awesome it’s a nice place to hang out relax and rest your feet cuz it’s a decent walk [Music] ready to scramble [Music] grocery store food in Japan we’re in the basement of a big department store and this is a grocery and it’s so cool to see all the food options cuz they’re so different obviously first time in a Japanese grocery store going to get this probiotic drink for my gut health fancy fruit fancy some fruits for gift this is a $95 fruit basket for four really pretty fruits basement 2 restaurants what do you think this is seriously cool i had heard about these department stores with full eating levels and I was dying to see it we’re finally here this one’s kind of small but it’s nice to see [Music] it we’re not quite ready for lunch yet we did lowkey have a double breakfast but it’s cool to see this as an option and we might have to come back down here [Music] it’s super rainy tonight so we thought ramen would be the perfect thing we came to the super famous ichi and it looks good [Music] [Music] oh it’s amazing it’s so good right [Music] one minute we’re in the crush of Shinjjuku the next we’re in the shrine Hanzono shrine i’m not sure if I’m saying it right but this is what’s so crazy is the juxiposition shinjjuku and this [Music] Wow wow wow wow wow [Music] that’s the most beefy six-pack I’ve ever seen power [Music] we came back again to Amo Yoko Ali and we popped into a spot and they specialized in beef tongue and oh my god it was amazing i wasn’t expecting to love it so much but they made it so tender and delicious and we got these ginger high balls that for the weather that kind of like a little bit of humidity perfect thing but we’re not done for tonight we’re going to go check out Golden Guy [Music] [Music] day three feeling good yeah feels good finally like acclimating to the time change going to start our morning with a breakfast set breakfast set at Coma [Music] day three and it’s already your second time at Kita Coffee because it’s really good and it’s affordable you get this little breakfast along with whatever drink you get or whatever drink you’ve selected plus it’s really nice to sit in a super comfy booth when you’re eating your breakfast so nice we’re [Music] excited heat heat [Music] [Music] [Music] this is crazy yeah it’s like really crowded but it’s really cool [Music] we just made it to the back side of the Seno the property and it’s crazy it feels like part religious experience and the other part is like this mega shopping center like shopping mall but it’s wild to think that all of this space is dedicated to this it feels right though because it feels special [Music] yeah the sun’s out we’ve been in Tokyo for three days and it’s time to get our matcha on let’s go okay i asked for the strong flavors let’s try for the ice cream yeah I asked for strong flavors oh it is strong it’s good i like it mochi is like so fresh and jiggly oh the softest mochi I’ve ever had in my life they were cutting it up right before our eyes there’s a special name for it is it wab mochi [Music] mochi so far we love Asakuza it’s just different it’s different than where we’re staying in Shinjuku different where we’ve seen in Shabuya just feels like very culturally rich and there’s so much to see and do and hopefully eat and drink [Music] these rickshaw drivers or drivers they’re runners they just carry the cart with passengers and run all over the city it’s highly impressive and it’s making me feel even more out of shape than I am we’re looking at this giant statue on the top of the beer hall the Asahi is that his name asai I think yeah and it’s just like I So I guess the locals lovingly call it golden turd i can’t unsee it yeah and it’s supposed to be like maybe a cauldron or like a torch or something like holding the flame but you be the judge yeah what do you think it looks like and the main building is supposed to look like a beer mug a frothy beer mug so check that out that’s pretty cool too we have a little time to kill before the beer hall opens and we realized it’ probably be smart to go into that experience with a little food in our stomachs luckily there’s always a convenience store right there we better bring you to 7-Eleven it’s an [Music] experience these cans are beverages called lemon sours they’re alcoholic and they’re super popular especially when it’s hot [Music] what you got there gin sour so we figured we would pregame a little bit or I would pregame a little bit for our beer excursion but it’s pretty good refreshing what’s in it gin and sour i don’t know what’s in it 7% alcohol little can from the kini life in Japan is beautiful we can’t get enough salad sad day the Asahi Beer Hall beer lounge is closed so added to the list of reasons to come back to [Music] [Music] Tokyo it was a lovely morning in Asakuza but now we’re going to head back to Shinjuku for some more [Music] fun so although we didn’t get any beers at the Asai Brewery the kind of like sky deck cuz it was closed we made our way back to Shinjjuku and don’t neglect department store basement like don’t sleep on those people we came down to a department store basement here in Shinjuku and there’s like five bars they all have happy hour so we stopped here for a drink and it was really fun now we’re in the grocery store section of this department store and it’s [Music] beautiful these little yogurt drinks have been a lifesaver for us this is how we start the day and we don’t die we’re here at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building this is right by our hotel so it’s a little removed from the crazy crush of Shinjuku we’ve heard one of the best observation towers is is here we can’t believe it’s right by our hotel so we’re going to see if we can find it [Music] that was an amazing outlook it was a 360 cuz there were windows all around but one of the things we could see from up there was our hotel which looked teeny tiny it looked like a hotel for ants [Music] hey Family [Music] Mart so we’ve gotten into this groove where we get up really early and we hit it hard and then by mid-afternoon we need a break and we we choose to take one so today we’ve got some beverages some snacks we’ll probably even take a little nappy mhm yeah eat our egg sando have a nap have some alcohol go back out tonight and we’re meeting someone tonight for dinner kind of a a somewhat distant relative but he lives here and so we’re we’re hoping he can kind of show us the ropes that’ll be fun [Music] whoa no so since we didn’t get to go to the tap room in Asakuza then this is the close second right beer in bed cheers [Music] we’re figuring it out [Music] i had to get a little bit of Animal Crossing sway [Music] Mario we found this cafe it’s around the corner from our hotel they have a really cute looking morning set menu so we’re going to check it out [Music] taking the bus today [Music] we’re taking the train today one of the trains today from Sangubashi Station and it’s the I guess This is the stop near the Maju Jingu Temple and this train station is like the most beautiful place ever there’s just like greenery and the entire station is made of wood like all the awnings are like perfectly crafted it’s just incredible [Music] we filled up with some great coffee from Brooklyn Roasting Co here in Shimo what’s it called shimikas and now it’s time to shop and specifically thrift shop cuz this neighborhood is known for having a multitude of amazing thrift and vintage shops so let’s go [Music] there are endless vintage shops and I thought it’d be really fun if I could find like amazing vintage dress it’s hard though cuz a lot of the vintage is polyester which isn’t really up my alley i’d love to find like a natural fabric but let’s see how I [Music] do okay I know we’re not in Hawaii but we found this really good looking malasada place and they had one that was full of curry and then like custard so we decided to take a break from thrifting and treat ourselves what do you think of that curry i like it but it’s really just kind of odd for like a western palette because the outside is super fluffy malasada covered in sugar and the inside is like slightly spicy curry it’s pretty weird but I like it it’s good i played it a little more safe with custard but looks so good i couldn’t say no to that yes yes yes [Music] yes super oh my pure silk and a deal that’s a find very nice success yay so MickMo that’s where we found some good finds it’s got really good stuff and it’s really reasonably priced especially compared to other stores here so look up to a second floor when you’re here check it out [Music] hotel room snack banana [Music] pancake so day four in Tokyo the dog scene is real there’s a lot of great dogs here we this morning got our cafe breakfast did some thrifting nice lunch and now we’re off to Shibuya to go to a henbi you think I’m saying that hanbe hanbe which is a showa era bar it’s going to be a lot of fun so let’s do it come by we’re ready to get our drink on and for what it’s worth we have seen a schnowzer every single day we’ve been here i feel like Tokyo sends us our lucky schnowzer each and every day and we miss [Music] Archie come by hi really good [Music] [Music] it’s good right it’s really good oy yeah oi [Music] fried bread like just bread fried with cinnamon sugar fried bread with cinnamon sugar just pouring off of it oh my goodness pretty simple pretty good so good it’s amazing and I don’t know like is this the Japanese churro i think so cheers to that this is the funniest dinner ever like hands down like delicious nostalgic crazy wacky and it’s a chain so if you’re ever in Tokyo they have locations all over you have to go to this place hanbeay if you want a uniquely Japanese experience a cool crazy isakaya Hyundai is a must like just come figure out the experience figure it out for yourself it is amazing [Music] this was seriously one of the highlights of our trip this is incredible you have to come to Hyundai [Music] molly molly do you think they take magic feet it’s worth asking am I right [Music] this is so great they’re all different [Music] products check it out this Runaway Railway mug is like the most unhinged thing I’ve ever seen [Music] there is a huge range of tote bags look at this cute arrest one what the [Music] heck heat heat n [Music] [Applause] [Music] day five in Tokyo and last night was uh a lot of fun we went to Hambe and got some drinks at the Showa era bar and some food was delicious we came back to our hotel and just crashed after walking around Shabuya and wo we woke up in the night cuz there was an earthquake and did a little bit of Googling earthquakes happen here all the time in fact one of the days we’ve been here so far there was something like 17 or 18 earthquakes alone and most of them are in between like two and three but last night’s uh magnitude earthquake was I think closer to like four and we’re on the fifth floor of this hotel and you could really feel it it was a little scary but we were able to go back to sleep and that’s just like part of real life in Japan godzilla good morning our morning coffee so this is just the hotel coffee they have these great little pourover packages but I have to say the coffee is so much better even just for hotel coffee compared to back home like it’s rich high quality fresh tasting coffee and it’s got me thinking there’s a lot of the hotel products that are better oh my f my glasses are fogging up the shampoo the conditioner the hand face wash body wash it all feels like nicer i don’t know if it’s just our hotel does a really good job it’s the not in Shinjuku i think there’s attention to detail and emphasis on quality that’s kind of different for us here family Mart just the daily [Music] R1 [Music] heat heat heat [Music] heat heat heat [Music] we made our way to Akihabara but we’ve only had one coffee today and I think we need a second one before we jump into all the crazy like gamer and electronic stuff so let’s check out this [Music] cafe have you ever seen a ham and cheese like this with all those little layers [Music] cheers cheers strong one that’s good super strong that’s good i like it we grabbed an Earl Grey tart like dessert it’s so good i love Earl Grey and it’s got like a candied orange slice on top of it which is an amazing flavor combo too there’s just so many fun things to try that we just don’t have back home and we’re trying to try all of them still day five and we wanted to go to Akihabara which is the kind of like the anime gaming kind of young person’s cultural hub in Tokyo and things don’t open early here most shopping most cafes and stuff don’t open until 9 or 10 or 11:00 so most of the stores in Akihabara open till 11:00 we stopped at the Edo Culture Complex you can do a little um What’s the word it’s a hall buddy it’s a hall give the people what they want so this hasn’t been a super gifty trip for us but when you see something you want just you know treat yourself we got this little box platform and some figurines to live on it we got a dog and got a Tanugi scarf Tanugi cloth i thought this pattern looked like really like beautiful Japanese it’s beautiful cranes yeah and I’ve been wanting like a neck scarf to wear so Oh that’s the vibe kind of looks good with your LA hat actually in a crazy way oh hell yeah what What do they stand for oh yeah the figurines so these figurines that they sell at the Edeto Cultural Center but all over Japan you see these everywhere the white it’s designated by color and which paw is being raised if I remember correctly the left paw is like for yourself like welcoming things in and then the right paw is like for outside or for others so the white is like general kind of good fortune the gold is YouTube success the gold is like business or um money wealth so we have a little like general luckiness and a little bit of wealth and wealth and vis wisdom wealth and business wisdom and business wisdom choke you for a second this is not another technique that’s how you handle choking so here that’s not this kind of show [Music] yesterday we went to Shimok Kitazawa to thrift for clothes and that was like really more of a Mali thing and now we’re in Akihabara we’re going to go to Hard Off which is like the off stores uh our secondhand goods we’re going to look for video game stuff and then we’ll probably go to Super Potato and walk around Akihabara and just see what kind of fun we can get up to [Music] [Applause] what a find i think there’s something for everybody who doesn’t love Ava [Music] so we found this uh Pong but it’s like real it’s like not digital let’s try and make it [Music] happen oh god this is really [Music] tricky that is so cool i can play this for hours that fun that’s so cool this is [Music] incredible it’s so good i can’t believe I’ve been super potato a little bit of a childhood dream amen [Music] [Music] [Applause] we have a little time to kill before we do team labs today and so we’re killing some time here in Ginsza and this is you feel the upscalenness it’s really beautiful here heat heat [Music] [Applause] is it good yeah it’s really good [Music] are you ready i’m very ready this is one thing I did not want to miss it’s Team Labs Borderless uh let’s do it [Music] team Lab Borderless has no maps or rooms some of the rooms are hard to find artworks leave rooms move through the halls and enter other spaces the artworks in a room change over time try returning to the same room after a while wonder explore and discover enjoy this one continuous borderless world enjoy the moment thank you [Music] heat heat heat heat [Music] heat heat [Music] heat hey hey hey [Music] heat heat [Music] [Music] now we’re waiting in line to make our own fish [Music] i had to do one for the West Coaster goodbye to Labs farewell well we were in team laps for about 2 hours and 20 minutes and it’s so disorienting still disorienting as you can tell hard to even describe i don’t even know if we saw everything but we saw a lot i tell you there’s signs that say you know you might get lost you might miss rooms it was incredible i honestly got emotional a couple times just seeing the effort put into something so beautiful like just how much work was put into that whole experience cuz it was huge and it made me feel very small but like in a really good way you know good night it’s the best i just chased a lady down the street but she had the cutest schnowzer and we’ve been seeing a schnowzer almost every day we live here i’m sure it’s cuz people love small dogs every day we live here live we live here now but we’ve been seeing a schnowzer almost every day we visited and this one takes the cake this was the cutest and she gave us so many sweet kisses and the schnowzer owners even here even across the globe they get it they get the schnowzer love so well and we exchange pictures we show them pictures of Archie and they love it but yes I literally chased her down the street because again right out in front of our hotel you come out there’s the cutest schnowzer had to say hi to her this park is right by our hotel and literally took us till day six to walk through it’s beautiful it’s so serene i think this is the miniature Niagara Falls [Music] so in case we haven’t mentioned it yet it is day six in Tokyo and we’re going to grab some breakfast hang out kind of have a lazy day probably do some shopping go to a brewery and who knows what we’ll get up to but it’ll be fun i think we went kind of hard yesterday enough nature we’re starving let’s get breakfast i think we found a really good breakfast spot coffee pancakes sule pancakes i think one of the things we’ve enjoyed so much it’s been surprising here in Tokyo is the breakfast culture all these little restaurants cafes have breakfast sets i’m starting to get kind of sad cuz I’m going to miss this [Music] okay so we got the famous sule pancakes they do these at a lot of different cafes but we’re at this kind of like super nice Japanese like Denny’s almost like an IHOP and uh they take a while so if you ever come here and order them they warn you that they’re going to take like 20 minutes half hour but they look so good they’re so like jiggly look at that jiggle jiggle it’s so good your attention please the train bound for and will soon arrive on track number 15 [Music] we just got off the train in Nikori it’s a neighborhood northeast of where we’re staying in Shinjjuku known for having a bunch of amazing fabric shops you might not know this but I am a big sewing fanatic and so I had to visit this neighborhood even just for a little while to check it out let’s go [Music] so we’re in the mega giant Tomato there’s multiple locations even on the street and the thing I can’t get over right now I’m just shocked the selection is insane i’ve never been in a fabric store in the US that has anywhere near the color and texture selection i’m overwhelmed in a good way [Music] [Music] that was super overwhelming in there it’s just huge but I did commit to a tote bag because this is pretty iconic and I know I’ll use [Music] this scored some traditional Japanese fabrics these will be fun for making our souvenirs when we get home stay tuned we’re on the move and we are hungry it’s day basic feeling it a little bit still having fun but the fatigue has set in a little bit we did our fabric shopping and now we’re off to the to the to the fish market and they don’t sell fish there anymore for like market purposes for commercial purposes but they still have a lot of shops and stalls and good food so let’s see what we get up to please wait behind the yellow warning blocks [Music] a little matcha keep us going and tasty is it good all the craft boss stuff is good the coffees [Music] it’s 2:30 and we see places closing up so we probably are catching the tail end of the market we still saw a couple things we really want to try so we’re going to zoom over and catch them we grabbed some tuna and another another fish that we don’t know what it is but we’re going to try it cuz it looks really fresh okay m unbelievably fresh it’s good it’s fresh what is it tastes familiar to me is it yellow no i asked for that and she said they were sold out okay cuz we’re here kind of later in the day what is that if you know what it is put it in the comments below it’s really good [Music] they got some eel oh my god it’s so tender i like eel these kind of places because it’s like barbecuey it’s got like a nice smoky flavor and it’s good yeah really really good just want to eat our way around here and try different things [Music] this is a daiso kum mochi and it’s a regular mochi with red bean on the inside red bean paste and then on top is a fresh strawberry i’ve been wanting to try these forever today’s the day m I already love mochi but with the fresh strawberry on top and the red bean paste on the inside this is a home run 10 out of [Music] 10 i had to do it i’ve seen these all over the internet all over social media they’re candied fresh strawberries i just I couldn’t leave Japan without trying these i love sugar the sugar on the outside so crunchy and the strawberry is so soft and juicy and kind of tangy and this is exactly the kind of treat I like so the Tukiji Fish Market was a lot of fun but it’s definitely a morning experience i wish I would have known that ahead of time but it’s still cool to try a bunch of different things and it feels kind of like the fair if you’re coming here just be prepared to like booth hop and bring a lot of coins [Music] so we are now making the hike up the hill to Ebbeesu to go to this uh brewery I found and we need a break on our last full day here going to grab some beer going to grab some food oh hi let’s get [Applause] [Music] beer raspberry it can be hard to get vegetables around here and we saw these vegan wraps they look perfect and they taste perfect good spicy and sweet sauce extra juicy okay don’t judge us for getting pizza but it looked really good smells good too come bite wa that’s so good they explained to me that this beer particular is more of like a Japanese style beer so it has yuzu citrus it has a little bit of shashidito pepper in it that’s good it’s like really complex and different so Japan knows how to do the craft beer thing yum so it’s really fun hanging out here but one of the interesting things is that it feels completely like a western brew pub like and to the point where even the weight staff we talked to speaks perfect English like impeccable English so it’s it’s kind of crazy to be sitting in Tokyo at a brewery brew pub drinking beer and speaking in English and looking around at entirely Japanese people so it’s it’s really cool but it’s it’s kind of tricky [Music] [Music] [Music] time for a little [Music] snacking it’s called a lemon sour and I’ve heard Oh is that 10% it’s 10% something 5% something else but I’ve heard honestly I’ve heard that this brand of lemon sour is very very good um and I meant to try it before now so I’m glad I’m I’m glad I’m getting it before it’s too late so this is the routine for us we run out earlier in the day we do like a big full day of sightseeing and fun and then it’s become a meme i think you can see it online but you know then you get your kini snacks your convenience store snacks and sit on your bed and become a snack goblin and then you go out for the night time okay give us your kini haul water of course big old water like a hundred yen big Santo super shuhai chuhai grapefruit flavor this is like a my first time I had this one refreshing very good but they got all kinds of like great convenience store alcohol we got to eat a ham egg sandwich it looks like there’s some mayonnaise some cucumber ham scrambled eggs looks delicious scrambled eggs yeah looks like there’s scrambled egg in it that’s egg salad okay egg salad then Molly got a chicken and vegetables rice wrapped in nori like an oni giri type vibe hadn’t tried it yet i got a piece of family mart fried chicken their fried chicken is so good it’s like a boneless chicken thigh and for dessert a chocolate banana crepe snack dessert all this for about 1,400 yen and if you’re following along it’s 2014 good job it’s 2024 2024 the yen is super weak right now so for traveling it makes it very affordable for us all of this we got for what i don’t know like 10 bucks 10 bucks ham and egg salad is like 11 out of 10 10 out of 10 so good this is good really seasoned usually I get like salmon or tuna but I wanted to branch out you know the middle sandwich this is like actually three sandwiches in this pack but the middle sandwich is ham and cucumber or vegetables kind of like a spread it’s good too korawari tastes lemon sour the lemon flavor is really good like it’s really there and it’s like the perfect little touch of sweetness it’s not too sweet but it’s definitely like it’s lemonade it It’s very lemonade with a hint of alcohol but cheers to this mhm family fried chicken they’re um comes in many different flavors as do all the convenience store fried chickens do but this is I think this was a sweet and sour or soy sauce i couldn’t really read the sign it said cordite [Music] sweet and sour really really good this is a chocolate banana crepe i’ve never had anything like this from a convini but it looked interesting interesting enough to buy and try buy and try feels feels like a crepe heavy it’s a heavy boy sorry I’m tired let’s try it it’s like a crepe meets a Snickers i’m I’m happy to be here i’m just I’m happy to be here in Tokyo this is very good [Music] off to [Applause] Osaka it’s day seven and we’re taking the JR line to Tokyo station for the Shinkansen to get to [Music] Osaka i feel sad to leave Tokyo it’s been so great here and I could see us enjoying a much longer stay there’s just so much we did but so much we didn’t get to do and we just had to keep reminding ourselves that this is just one of many visits that we’ll make here [Music] so one thing I wasn’t really expecting when we came here with Japanese people in Tokyo um for breakfast they’re really into bread like really into bread you can just get a giant slab of bread with toppings you like or just plain toast with your coffee in the morning usually it’s um pretty inexpensive and a lot of people are doing so if you like bread Tokyo is a great place to [Music] visit train snacks [Music] [Music] all the trains have music for each stop and I’m drinking that train beer number two from Spring Valley this is the brewery we went to and we had such a good time there and our server was so nice she threw in a couple cans of free beers thank you cheers [Music] [Music] day one in Osaka and man it’s it’s wild here it’s all the vibes we’re here for it we got all checked into our Osaka hotel and we were about to make a nap and we realized there’s free alcoholic beverages sodas desserts a whole array of goodies so we rallied and came back downstairs i got chocolate pudding a high ball beer coke zero like a little cake very exciting times very fun getting some complimentary beer tornado beer obviously going to convenience stores is a huge part of why coming to Japan on vacation is fun there’s a Lawson right next to this hotel we’re staying at and I thought to go with my free beer I would get some blossom kind of these like chicken nuggets they have a bunch of different flavors this is the blue one the lemon one i’ve tried the red before is really good and I tried the special sweet and sour sauce inside one but this is the lemon one gosh really good has a surprisingly like natural lemon flavor it doesn’t taste like a jar of lemon pepper seasoning you get in the West so you get this it’s good our hotel does free cultural events every day of the week and tonight they’re making takoyaki which is a famous street food from here in Osaka why do I get the feeling that our hotel just doesn’t want us to leave they’re giving us all these reasons to hang out this is pretty cool got to skewer this puppy eat the Thank you yay [Music] osaka’sville osaka is our kind of town baby yeah it’s like Venice meets Las Vegas meets Japan it’s just delightfully grungy you know so we’re here in Dobururi in Osaka along the river where the Glicko man is and we were hoping to catch it light up it lights up after sunset and it’s an incredible site the Glicko company which made the like the running man sign is the parent company for Pocky who makes those delicious like snacks those chocolatecoated pretzel sticks well hopefully we’ll catch the lighting see it all lit up but it’s really crazy here there’s boats going up and down the canals there’s all these street stalls open it’s It’s a really fun time we’re happy to be [Music] here we became instant fans of Donkeyote the second we stepped in one and they’ve got this iconic one here along the water it even has its own ferris wheel i’m not sure if we’re going to do it though i think I might be checking out i mean would you even really call that a ferris wheel it’s got its own unique shape to it uh I don’t know would you do it if you were here let us know [Music] we’ve only been here for a few hours but honestly Osaka feels like our type of wonderland like there’s just so much unique stuff to discover there’s just everything everywhere everything everywhere all at once no it’s just it’s really exciting and uh we’re happy to be here [Music] we’re a weekend on our trip and we haven’t done tempura yet but we’re going to fix that right now goodbye [Music] [Music] wagyu beef tempura it melts in your mouth beautiful so we’re eating the most delicious tempur I’ve ever had in my life and I’m starting to think this is like a viral place because everyone is filming the food is incredible the chef is just working it’s a master yeah i’m just feeling very very happy to be here feels like we stumbled upon a gem and our server even asked us how we found about this place and there was a line of people and in Dotoi in Osaka there’s so many places that don’t have lines i was just noticing like “Oh there’s a big line for that let’s let’s just wait like we got time let’s wait.” And uh I was telling that to our server who speaks incredible English and he was like “You guys are really lucky.” So and I feel lucky this is a great spot cheers to that these might be the most exciting vegetables on planet Earth this place is amazing the batter is so light and crispy heaven on earth did I say amazing like three times that’s okay [Music] so it’s amazing soft boiled egg tempura oh my god we’ve never had that before no it’s so good this is our second round so we’re just like we’re so impressed and we’re so hungry and everything is good it’s like well let’s just keep it going oi are you full super full but super happy this was so much more than I bargained for everything’s like incredible and uh it’s time to start walking great first night in Osaka i’m still in shock over that meal we just had i feel like the foodie travel gods sent that to us as like a huge win i don’t know how we could top that at this point um we’ll put the information down below in the description if you’re in Osaka and you want the best tempura of your life you’ll have to check it out [Music] so we’ve been in Osaka for just half a day we got checked into an amazing hotel with all these freebies we weren’t expecting took a little rest came out came down here to Denbori um and it is such like Isaac said to me earlier it’s such like a fair vibe like there’s a lot of people it’s crowded but it’s not like oppressive to me i’ve had way more crazy crowded experiences being a Disneyland person cast member but um we just had this insane meal and I just can’t help but think like Osafa is our kind of town this is our kind of fun and we’ve just barely scratched the surface i’m already super grateful that we made the call to do a nice chunk of time in Tokyo and then a nice chunk of time here um I don’t know about you guys but when but when we’re traveling we feel like if we blow through places too fast it’s it’s a bummer you want to like stay for a few days and get comfy get cozy get to know a place so that’s what we’re doing what do you think of Osaka uh yeah I think Osaka is cool it’s kind of like a party town it’s a fun town the biggest differences uh between Osaka and Tokyo is like people are going to bump into you in Osaka in in Tokyo you know everybody’s staying in their their own lane everybody’s being very polite osaka is a little bit more like having fun hitting the town and Osaka is very cool i’m happy to be here and it’s kind of a cool conclusion for our trip you know we have a couple more days but Osaka is the second site like we spent about a week in Tokyo and now we’re in Osaka and it’s going to be really fun to keep exploring the city but also let loose absolutely absolutely yeah we need to just like chill out we’re going to do some historical hysterical stuff tomorrow and we’re just going to keep enjoying Osaka it’s our first full day here in Osaka first morning waking up here and we’re back on our old business we had to get Kita’s coffee we’re obsessed and we’ve just decided we’re going to have as many breakfast sets as we can before we leave cuz it’s pure magic [Music] so we just took the subway to Osaka Castle it is a pretty huge complex and when we got off the train we immediately were like “We need more coffee.” We hit it hard last night in Dontobururi so Osaka style yeah it was really fun but fortunately for us and uh people who do like Starbucks Japan is obsessed with Starbucks and there’s Starbucks in like every big major national park so there’s a Starbucks here right there yeah which is kind of fun so we’re going to grab a coffee okay so it was hard to see from where we’re walking but not only is there a Starbucks there’s a Lawson and there’s like another little bakery this is kind of a cool complex and suddenly we’re in bakery heaven this looks really [Music] good so I think we definitely found something a little better than Starbucks at least for our experience this bakery here our baker i think it might be a Taiwanese bakery but they specialize in this huge range of like really special pastries and breads so we got a couple things plus some really strong coffee which is a plus in our book what is this Isaac i have no idea just a lot of people were eating it so it looked really good it kind of looked like uh sometimes I get these they call them pineapple buns at the dim sum place in California we go to but that’s what it looked like to me my guess is like a crunchy exterior can you tell how big this is anyway it was the last one so yes we snagged it m it has that classic sweet crunchy shell there’s usually custard inside yes soft bread underneath let me get a little further in there got reaction this is super delicious and massive it’s always good to get something savory to balance out the sweet at these types of places and this was like a ham and cheese and mustard greens almost looks like a little mini kind of flatbread type thing oh good it’s definitely got mayonnaise in it which is good i like mayonnaise a lot of these things in Japan a lot of these pastries do have mayonnaise a lot of like street food has mayonnaise as a topping so good thing I like mayonnaise this is really good so one thing I didn’t realize about Osaka Castle until we got here was that it’s in the middle of a gigantic park complex there is like a big baseball field kind of mini baseball stadium there’s obviously this like grocery store or not grocery store but like convenience store bakery coffee shop like kids play area they even have like a train that’s um that’s going through the park like that drives on the path and today there’s like a community race too there’s a foot race so people are doing like a 5K or a 10K running around the park it is really really cool here it feels like a community park [Music] i know this is super cheesy but I’m so glad we watched the new version of Shogun before We came here because that’s the history that goes into the story pretty [Music] cool this is worth the admission alone [Music] i almost fell what are you doing stamps are really big here when you go a place you commemorate your visit by getting a stamp so I’m getting a stamp museum stamp let’s stay in [Music] hey beep [Music] [Music] osaka Castle was super cool but now we’re ready for this Kurammon market let’s go [Music] why does all the food look so good all the time everywhere so we stopped in the Kuraman Market and it’s overwhelming there’s so many choices so many incredible looking things osaka is kind of like a beef town cuz it’s next to Coobe so there’s so much beef we might need to get some beef for lunch or noodles or something but we hit up a convenience store not a convenience store actually we hit up a grocery store there’s a grocery store in the middle of this market and you can always count on them for reasonably priced drinks so I got a can of coffee and a can of Japanese IPA so double fisting through the market 80 so it’s like with the exchange rate close to 50 cents US for a pretty good can of coffee i’m gonna really miss this i know we’ve been hoofing it today we were at the castle came down to this market i needed something refreshing and orangeina i haven’t had orangeina in years and this one has Mario on it so it had to be this bottle orangeina feels kind of like a travel beverage yeah i remember being a kid and doing some pretty cool trips with my family we’d always keep our eyes open for orange let’s see if it’s as good as I remember though it’s got that real orange juice flavor and I remember why it’s so refreshing the effervescence of it is just perfect now I can persevere and keep touristing so I finished my coffee i want to try this Japanese IPA very West Coast style but it has like that fruity flavor but it doesn’t seem sweet wow one thing that’s really interesting about Japan in general is that public drinking is like okay in Tokyo you don’t want to walk around with your can of beer you want to stand outside the conveni and drink it and then give them your can but in Osaka it feels like anything oh it’s like people are walking and eating walking and drinking it’s loud it’s rambunctious it’s cool we passed a tour guide who was giving a little guided tour to two or three people and overheard him say you know Tokyo is more reserved and more uptight and in Osaka you can do whatever the f you want of course we’re going to always be respectful but it’s fun to just stand on this street in the middle of a market and drink a good beer especially since this is kind of our last stop yeah last stop for today then we’ll rest at the hotel before dinner but I mean like the last stop on our trip in Osaka we did a week in in Tokyo and now we’re here it’s like come to Osaka to kind of let loose come to Osaka for your vacation [Music] i’ll take this middle side ready to do some grilling i’m really excited it looks amazing oh wow a [Music] we had to do this today [Music] okay let me start with this piece small piece test the piece i’m so excited it’s definitely an experience [Music] salt and pepper oh my god co beef okay it’s like It’s like so fatty it’s like beef flavored butter how is the cooking level it’s good it’s good it’s good should we do more you going to grease it up let’s go let’s go big time they give you a piece of tallow to grease it it’s so good so is it So is it safe to say this is the nicest meat you’ve ever grilled in your grilling career this is Yeah above and beyond insane it’s so good and honestly this isn’t because of the exchange rate isn’t that expensive it’s like $20 melting your mouth amazing kobe beef i love wasabi so that’s a yes first bite unbelievable this is a new experience for me we don’t We just don’t have beef like this in the US it’s so soft and delicate oy oi i’m never I’m never going to forget this this is so delicious it’s gotten pretty rainy and it it’s really nice when it’s like this that you can come into these big shopping centers to find some really good food our next spot is something I’ve been wanting this whole [Music] trip we were just in the Udon place and I had a really interesting experience i went really confidently up to the vending machine and pushed a button and realized soon after that I picked the wrong thing so the guys working there were so kind to me and helpful i we figured it out together what it was I wanted and it all worked out i accidentally picked udon no noodles and who wants udon with no noodles so anyhow I had an amazing meal we had an amazing meal in there and I just I feel like people are so willing to help out tourists like us if you’re just kind have a smile on your face say a lot of times which means sorry they’re usually going to be really helpful and that udon that was bomb [Music] hey [Music] We had a great night out in Osaka with our friend he took us to a really cool okonomiyaki place it was delicious um and then he took us to this really cool bar and it’s like the kind of place where as a tourist you would never find it unless a more local person brought you there so that was cool and apparently everyone there when we came in thought I looked like Bork and that made me feel so cool so hello from Bork anyway I thought I would do our evening Kini haul because Isaac is tapping out hi i’m tired yeah I ate a lot so the daily Kini haul will be made by yours truly setting you over here um there is a Lawson’s conveniently located right next to our hotel here in Osaka this hotel is blowing us away all the freebies really great room and then of course Lawson’s which we’re trying to decide if Lawson’s is our favorite cuz they’ve got some really good stuff but anyhow got us some waters got us our morning yogurt drink for tomorrow but also got us some treats cuz our time here in Japan is slowly coming to an end so we want to make sure we get all the good kungiri treats right here i’ve been eyeing this for days it’s an egg custard cream eclair ooh la la let’s try this out oh this is really good it’s a lot lighter than the eclair’s I’ve had back in the US but the custard on the inside is really like light and creamy too m wow it’s really good and we wanted to show you one of our favorites one of our go-tos we’ve been getting so this is a doriyaki and if you’re new to the world of doriyaki it’s kind of like two small pancakes um often times filled with red bean which this has but we found these doriyakis here that also have like a cream layer as well as the red bean paste pancakes on both sides like fused together m you want this so good so we’re signing off from Osaka tonight see you for one more full day in Osaka we’ve got some good plans and then the day after that we’re traveling back to Tokyo to get a little more sightseeing and then flying home [Music] show it show it show it [Music] [Music] we’ve wanted to try Hosino coffee since we arrived in Japan and today’s our last full day so we thought if not now when oh let’s see what it’s like so if you like to play video games we really like to play Animal Crossing and this cafe really reminds us of the Brewers Cafe cuz it kind of has this like old school like dark wood interior European coffee shop kind of vibe so we’re really excited to try this place it’s a little bit of a different type of coffee shop than Kda feels a little bit more elevated so should be really good we got some soulet pancakes and some coffees fancy schmancy even the cups the shape they’re so perfect [Music] just as expected Japanese coffee the blend coffee is strong we love it another thing that we weren’t really uh anticipating is just how into coffee blends and like roasting uh the Japanese cafe coffee scene is so most of these places will have their own specific blend so at Hosino they have the Hosino blend coffee which is their strongest coffee and it seems like most places it’s like a oneand done you get a one really good strong cup of coffee and that’s kind of uh what you order what you drink but they have like an American style which is a lighter roast and different options as you go down but if you usually get the house blend coffee it’s going to be the the strong stuff so Hosino is very good [Music] mini pancake a lot of these places with breakfast sets are pretty customizable so I got the mini pancake as well but I definitely added in the week because this girl needs protein in the mornings [Music] you going to buy that for me yeah I will i will right now do you want it thrifty time [Music] don’t judge us but we had to get another Kura [Music] moment [Music] here we are yes we’re here at Kura one of our favorite things about coming here in Japan like we come here all the time now but one thing that we’ve seen uh other YouTubers and people point out is that Kura has a super easy to understand menu it’s all touchscreen you can select your language the quality level is off the charts and it is a very fun experience we’re at the one in Osaka sitting at a table feels very private and very relaxing but it’s kind of hot today and the AC in here is pumping it is it feels good it feels good so do we want to play or not play i’m going to play cuz that may be with the additional 10 yen per plate pay to play yeah because the exchange rate is so good i know it says 10 yen but for us like 6 yen like 6 cents basically 6 cents i’ll pay 6 cents to win some prizes all right show me what to do so kind of confusing at first but a lot of places a lot of restaurants you go to the silverware is hidden so these little plates or little trays you can open up get yourself some plates get yourself a set you can take out whatever accutra you need very cool the perfect thing for a hot day when you’re coming out for sushi is a shoehigh lemon i needed this so refreshing so [Music] effervescent we’ve accumulated quite a few plates so I think it’s time to do the next step [Music] nice [Music] oh we get a toy [Music] what do we get a thing a thing oh it’s it’s a pin so it’s like a pin that you can like put on your shirt or backpack it matches your shirt i know it’s my favorite color green it’s green and yellow it’s got some fierce looking character on it i have no idea who he is but he looks really cool wow i don’t know if we’ve ever really won and I think as we paid up a little bit we got to benefit from the gacha pong nature of things but this is really fun [Music] get it [Music] no totally automated every single step of the process so yeah every single step of that process was was automated from the check-in to every part of the dining process ordering all my food ordering a drink paying in the elevator wa an automatic elevator glad we caught Kura one more time yeah it’s good i mean we have Kora in LA in Little Tokyo but this Kora experience in Japan is like it’s like level 10 la is kind of like level three level four it’s like 10 this is one/ird the price oh it’s Yeah now we’re back out to Bori [Music] this is so cool [Music] well it’s our last night in Osaka we just woke up from a little bit of a nap we needed it cuz we were dragging a really good way to wake up is with great coffee and right by our hotel is this Lelo Coffees roasters coffee roasters and they have this system where you get to choose from a series of 20 different beans i chose the Brazil which is a darker roast i got a hand drip coffee oh my goodness I already tasted it it is superb isaac got a latte perfect way to kick off a night out in Osaka let’s turn up one of our favorite things about our Lilo’s experiences have been these little cards they give you that explain what your beans are and you can pick from like how many beans had 20 different beans for drip coffee or latte or different styles so the cards explain exactly what the beans are like where they come from how much they’re roasted and how they should be prepared place is really really good i’ve never had so many specific options for coffee before next level yeah it’s nice to get caffeinated up for our last little harrah in Osaka [Music] i think this is for kids [Music] [Music] what are we doing here we’re going to do a capsule machine get a capsule toy we haven’t done this yet on our trip we’re in Osaka so I’m going to get a capsule toy of Takuyaki these are fun you see these everywhere we’re in the middle of like a big capsule store in Saiibashi in the Parkco parkco is a huge chain of like nice department stores we were just upstairs at the um Jibli store and now we’re downstairs like next level down so let’s see what I get i think it’s 300 yen one two three all right what flavor am I going to get very cool it’s like a little taky keychain that’s cool looks like I got like eggs or mustard yeah it’s cool cool keychain not bad first gacha fawn machine vending machine takoyaki is delicious too it is delicious i can see why people are super into this stuff because it’s really fun it’s fun to fan out for whatever it is you love totally i mean there’s like one for Hershey’s Kisses and Syrup and there’s one for Takoyaki and there’s one for like every single J-pop or K-pop band so Mario every every character you can find everything anything currently experiencing something I had heard about when it’s almost closing time or it’s closing time at the store they play old Lang Zine they’re playing it right now um having a moment i know they’re like “Get out.” But I’m kind of basking in this right now [Music] so we’re in the basement of Park Store and they have amazing looking restaurants like we’re shocked and super super interested we might do dinner here [Music] doing something special for dinner tonight this feels a little elevated even though we’re in the basement of a mall this is so novel to me i love it yeah don’t sleep on malls in Japan the basement of malls or department stores yeah they have really good food courts really good options and it’s cool that we ended up here because we’re next to Coobe so we’re getting good beef goodbye with a lot of the local traditional dishes it can feel hard to get a decent amount of vegetables so I was overjoyed when I saw a beautiful looking salad here feels like a treat so uh another thing I just noticed is that we didn’t get chopsticks sitting here i think this is our first meal where we were given a fork and a fork and knife kind of meal like looking around at the restaurant no one has chopsticks it’s kind of a funny observation that we’re in Japan we’ve been here for 10 days and it’s the first time I’m eating a meal with a fork it’s kind of funny we realized we hadn’t had much curry since we arrived here and it kind of felt like now or never this place has this really good looking beef curry i think we liked it um crazy before this experience I don’t know if I would have ever ordered anything with tendon beef tendon the curry it had like the stewed beef tendon and the flavor was incredible and like the texture was actually pretty good too this is why you travel try new things and expand your palette expand your world man don’t sleep on Osaka this is the place yeah if you’re coming to Japan and you’re going to do a Tokyo trip or maybe you’re going to do a Disney trip you have to spend at least an entire day in Osaka if not two or three days this place has been awesome especially if you’re a [Music] foodie we got these once before at the Tsukijichi Fish Market in Tokyo but I’ve been thinking about them i need to have them at least one more time this one’s better better strawberries and it’s so cold top tier candied strawberries [Music] so beautiful [Music] while we loved the free takoyaki here at our hotel the other day we really wanted to try some legit street food style and so we did they load us loaded us up with so much green onion they are yummy that’s super hot you have to be so careful when you eat takoyaki because they’re like delicious pockets of edible lava it will burn you but good [Music] hello welcome this is a big room for Japan yeah this feels huge this is our room at the Bridge Hotel in Shinshai Shinsaiashi shins Saiibashi in Osaka it is huge we have two fulls size beds i don’t even know if we requested two full-size beds or if we just requested one queen and they kind of like upgraded us but we have a pretty good city view out there the amenities at this hotel have been incredible really incredible i I would feel sad coming to Osaka and not staying here and if anyone’s considering an Osaka trip which you should just book the Bridge Hotel because not only have the rooms been comfortable the location has been insanely good for doing everything getting to the train but the staff here like go way above and beyond and make sure you have an amazing stay not a paid ad no one pays us so much fun no one pays us for anything we do this for you [Music] i’m so sad to leave this hotel was seriously the best thank you Bridge Hotel [Music] one last Japan breakfast [Music] our last morning in Japan last R1 yogurt drink happy eat oh we’re tired we’re tired the Shin Osaka station is a lot smaller and a lot more easy to navigate than Tokyo station so pretty chill place to be on a busy commuter morning but we’re getting through it [Music] train [Music] sex so it is technically day seven in Tokyo is it the sixth day we went to Osaka uh on the seventh day we went so this is just our last day in Japan yes but if we’re thinking about like seven days in Tokyo this is day seven day seven yeah we’re still on day seven we just got to Tokyo Station from Osaka taking the Shina Kaisan the bullet train and Tokyo Station is effing huge right it’s super overwhelming at least to me it’s completely massive hard to find your way around when we took the Shinkansen to Osaka we got lost a bunch of times trying to find our train but we’re back and we’re going to grab some beers and hang out at the station [Music] yes we found ourselves a nice little craft beer nook up here just outside of Tokyo Station got some different um beers mine’s a traditional like Japanese style beer isaac’s is a an IPA yours is an IPA mine’s an IPA yeah it’s an IPA but it’s like with Japanese brewing technique mine’s a Japanese brewing technique IPA that’s great we also got a little snack potatoes with bacon super herby and delicious will this be our last Lawson i think it might be and it breaks my heart but like I said before this is just one of many trips to Japan but let’s go save the moment maybe the last egg sando of our trip right here here we go so we just bought our bus tickets to head back to the Hanea airport and it’s extremely overwhelming to think about the last day here in Tokyo the last day in Japan i know that I’m going to be processing this for a long time just experiencing this beautiful country these lovely people seems kind of right that we went to Lawson’s again so we got an egg sandwich i got a Soui Strong Zero and we’re just going to kind of like enjoy our last few hours here walking around shopping eating we got beers at that brew hall yeah life is beautiful in Japan and we’re so glad we came super bittersweet just like that drink you’re drinking i’m going to miss this so much they have a lot figured out over here they really do grabbed myself a fork to stab my little apple pieces i really needed some fresh fruits then I noticed in the case in the container they give you this little like blue star poker to grab your your apples kind of think of everything here they do they think of everything and they do it with such pizzazz so cheers to cheers to Japan it’s safe to say we fell in love with so many delicious treats from the Kveni the convenience stores here one in particular is this Hokkaido cream kind of roll cake it’s all these slices are this really soft spongy cake filled with the Hokkaido cream super delicious also fell in love with the various milk teas not like we don’t have milk tea back west but why do they hit different here they just do anyhow heaven on earth so good i just I want to live ask you a question this is not planned not at all okay okay we’re going to say the name of our favorite convenience store on on three right so it’s going to be three two one then say it okay are you ready so countdown we’re going to say cuz there’s Lawson Family Mart 7-Eleven are the big three 3 2 1 Lawson why is it your favorite i don’t know um I don’t know i think it’s like So we had fried chicken from Lawson we had fried chicken from 7-Eleven and I I think I got fried chicken from Family Mart maybe I didn’t but you did yeah I’m sure I did you did i don’t know there’s something did you want to say Qua right there’s something like mysterious Lawson it’s not It makes no sense why is it called Lawson why is the logo like a Is it a big milk jug i think so yeah like why why and the reason is because it’s the best like it’s the chicken’s good the fried chicken’s good the egg sandwiches have been the same from pretty much every place but there’s just something about it like why do I keep going back to Lawson’s cuz it’s Lawson’s it gets me it feels like it’s just a little bit more simple nostalgic and it feels like it just has a little more soul than the other two family Mart and 7-Eleven are both amazing but they feel a little more kind of modern and I don’t know just a little less soulful than Lawson so Lawson you have our hearts is that a Lawson tea or something i got this at Lawson okay you got it there lawson you have our hearts in the palm of your hand don’t ever change or at least don’t change until we come back to Japan next time well um I don’t know if this is the end well if you’ve made it this far in all of our Japan videos we want to send you a huge thank you it really means so much to us that you want to follow along on our adventure with us safe to say this has been the trip of a lifetime 100% yeah it’s been incredible we will be back yes we have to um probably many many times we might go a couple places before we come back to Japan but Japan has been incredible and until next time cheers goodbye [Music] we had to hit Donkeyote one last time before getting on the flight and there’s one uh underground there’s like a mall attached to Tokyo Station so it’s fun to check it out [Music] show it [Music] what would you like funless on Giri airport Oniiri airport vending machine using up our sweet [Music] clean without the
