Must Stop in Okinawa-Kokusai Dori

This might be the best sweet treat we had in Okinawa. No joke. We came back to New because we couldn’t stop thinking about their pineapple tart. It’s made with local Okinawan pineapples. The crust is super crispy and the filling is sweet, juicy, and bursting with tropical flavor. We also had their fresh pineapple juice. So refreshing in this heat. Everything here is made with Okinawan ingredients. New is one of those places we keep coming back every time we visit.

Back at one of our favorite sweet spots in Okinawa — New Q 🍍
Their fresh pineapple juice is made with locally grown pineapples, and it’s honestly one of the most refreshing drinks we’ve had here. The New Q tart? Crispy, crunchy, and filled with sweet pineapple goodness.
This shop mixes the “old” Ryukyu vibe with something totally new.
We’ll definitely be back again.✨

  1. Ummmm, I ❤ pineapple. One of the few fruits that I’m not allergic to. I can have grapefruit too but my daily meds advise against that. 😢
