Americans React to Turkish Airlines Advertisements! (Türkiye: A Country Of Wonders)

So, Turkish Airlines is known for like some super super popular ads. And today we’re going to check out a few of them, like the most popular ones. Yeah. The first one we have is like the most popular one on their channel. And then the second one’s not like actually on their channel, but we have actually like heard of it before. So, I’ve seen it on TV, I feel like, at some point or somewhere. So, we’re going to check this out cuz it seems like it does good work for the country, and we get to like actually see some more about the country. It’s pretty cool. It’s like Turkish Airlines is doing free tourism ads for the tourism agency. That’s sick. Nasty. So, this one is uh Turkey. How do you like actually pronounce this? Is it pronounced different? Turkey. Turkey. Turkey. Or is this still pronounced Turkey? It’s just spelled different. Turkey. Turkey. It’s probably in Turkish it probably sounds different than in English, but we don’t know how to do it. So, we’re just going to say Turkey, I guess. A country of wonders. So maybe this will be like an actual tourism ad showing some cool stuff. How wonderful will it be? I love that Hollywood is now in Turkey. Just in case we got English subs. How you doing, John? Welcome to LA, Mr. Isn’t it an amazing story? Loved it. It’ll be an opportunity to travel the world and shoot all these amazing scenes. We’re shooting yacht and diving scenes at Caribbeans for ski scenes. We found some amazing venues in the Alves. I feel like I know where this is going. Mystery scene. We have found real historical buildings in Northern Africa. Wow. Wow. I mean, honestly, it sounds terrific. Although, I do believe we can shoot this whole thing in one place. I mean, we can shoot the whole thing in Turkey. Turkey. Turkey. Turkey. I mean, we kind of found this out a few years ago when we were about to go to Turkey. Unfortunately, we didn’t end up going, but we were going to road trip around Turkey for like a few months and we looked at northern Turkey and we were like, “What?” Yeah. Why? How are these huge green mountains all over the place? That was the thing that really surprised us cuz we had we knew like some geography. So, we knew obviously there’s like some desert areas, but also some nice beaches and stuff. But seeing the north coast being so green, we were like, “Wow, it’s was insane.” And we were going to drive right through it. And now hopefully we were were able to go at some point. Hopefully it has it all. Wow. Oh, that’s like something out of Georgia style Georgia. Like that border area. Wow. And then you got stuff like that that’s nowhere else in the world. Wow. [Music] [Music] Hi. Hi. Got a fancy restaurant. Oh, what is that? A big ruby ball. Very reflective. Oo. Okay. And look at that. It’s so crazy. It’s like you take like the Mediterranean and then you also mix it with like the history of Northern Africa and the Mediterranean and then you mix in dang northern mountains as well. Yeah. And then deserts like the Middle East. One comment claimed there’s no deserts in Turkey. So are they like not considered deserts? But uh when we think of desert that’s what we think of dry places. I mean, maybe maybe they were thinking desert as in like sand dunes, but in the United States, we also have deserts, and they don’t look like that either. They’re just dry and rocky. Look at that water. Golfing. Golf. You know, the food that they’re showing doesn’t look like the Turkish food that I’d want to eat, to be honest. Show me a dang swarm. Whoa, that’s sick. That looks like a deserty version of something in Iceland. And that looks like uh thing Colorado or something here. Wow. Beautiful. Wow. It’s everything in one. Are we getting some inception here? He’s watching his own ad and he seems very satisfied. Turkey has it all. [Music] Turkish Airlines. All right, we got to see the beautiful country of wonders. But what’s next now? Oh, [Music] wow. Turkish Airlines has a lot of amenities. Oh my god. Would you like to have some ice cream, young man? That’s some fancy ice cream. Ice cream rules all the best fly with Europe’s best. And that’s just that’s just a classic one. Two greats right there. Yeah. You know the you can’t but choose between them. So just choose some ice cream. Yeah. Ice cream rules all the good ice cream. I know they have the Turkish ice cream where they like trick you. It looks so sticky. The Turkish ice cream. We never tried it before, but it it’s very interesting. You don’t want to We don’t want to be embarrassed today. Just be like, “Oh, we saw for some reason in uh Bonggho, China. There was a lot of Turkish ice cream people there and they were clowning on some poor little Chinese kid and he was uh very sad and then stopped. He gave up. Some poor little Chinese kid.” But yeah, I mean what you get from these two ads is that Turkish Airline can bring the stars and Turkey has it all. I mean, seriously, what we’ve seen in Turkey, we could go there for months. We could go there for years and it would be like going to different states in the United States and different countries and back in time at the same all at the same place. So, please let us know like uh more videos that can showcase what to do or even you can just comment tell us what to do. And eventually we’re going to be going to Turkey. We’ve already like looked into it a little bit of course in the past and now again here we’re still looking in. How does this sound? I mean I mean we got to go to Istanbul of course but what about northern Turkey? Have you ever seen any like people go and make videos in northern Turkey? That’d be kind of cool, right? Yeah, we could go up there. Obviously there’s some big cities like Ankura and Antalia and stuff like that. Capidokia is out there too. There’s the Ismir area that all the islands. Oh man, I don’t know. We It’ll be hard to choose. Like if we went there for like two weeks, it’ll be really hard to choose exactly where to go.
