Another thing to be excited about this summer: sunflowers galore.

I’m a huge sucker for floral extravaganzas and always chasing the latest blooms; but I have to say, himawaris are defitely one of my favorites. These were taken at Minokura in Niigata, which is quite far and not that accessible. But summer’s just starting and sunflower peak bloom is usually between August to September so *fingers crossed, I’ll find one (or more) sunflower fields closer to home.
