PICTURE IS NOT MINE, This is the model of the car and what it looks like almost exactly
I live in Canada, Is it a good idea to fix up the 2001 Subaru Legacy GT wagon we have? Something went out on the driveshaft
The car is a turbo, with a 5 speed
I believe all wheel drive, I feel like it would be a decent ride to have, especially since I could buy it for incredibly cheap

What is the condition of the car otherwise? What’s the mileage like? There are a lot of factors involved in determining whether this would be worthwhile.
The short answer would be that if a 2001 car that requires repairs and will be driven in a Canadian climate, it’s probably not worth it.
That being said, if the car is otherwise in great condition, little or no rust, you’re not hurting for money, and are genuinely enthused by the car, then it could certainly be worthwhile.
At the end of the day, the value of anything is determined by the person who wants to own it.
Also I didn’t think this actually posted, WiFi was being slow at the time
