Explore Okinawa’s nature – coastal walks and forest hikes 🇯🇵🏝️ #travel #japantravel
us on a day exploring Okinawa’s nature. After breakfast in our Airbnb, we headed straight to Cape Hedo. It’s a waterfront cape at the northernmost part of Okinawa where you can see the expansive sea. We took a nice stroll and enjoyed the view. Exploring further down, we were captivated by this view when we looked down. The blue waves crashing over the corals beneath. really a gorgeous site. We stopped by the cafe here for a quick lunch before heading to Asmre Spiritual Heights. There’s a range of forest trails catering to diverse needs. I’m here with my family, including a 2-year-old, so we took the barrierfree route suitable for strollers. We ended up deviating from that path and more of a proper hiking trail, which the little one really enjoyed. I’m definitely taking her to more in danger. It was time for dinner and we went for amazing shaboo shaboo. Check out my food post for location details. We ended the night with a beautiful sunset and ice cream because why not?
