this is everything I ate for $350 at a seafood market in Hokkaido I’m at Senkaku Market which has so many tanks of crabs Look at this massive octopus tentacles So I picked out a 1.7 kg king crab for $180 and got it cooked right away The store owner showed me the best way to cut it open which was so nice And oh my gosh these crab legs were unbelievably sweet and juicy It’s perfect on its own and doesn’t need any sauce at all That’s how good it was I didn’t want to waste a single drop and sipped all of the juices in the head This was seriously mouthwatering By the way have you ever tried a hairy crab well this was a first for me so I chose a medium-sized one and paid $125 for it And while it was steaming I picked out some Hokkaido scallops and oysters This $5 scallop was very naturally sweet and succulent I love eating the orange row It’s nice and buttery I also usually prefer raw oysters but this $5 steamed oyster was really fresh and plump And now for the hairy crab I love how they cut it for you so it’s super easy to get the meat out I don’t know why I was surprised it was actually hairy Like it had a soft hairiness Anyways the meat was very delicate tender and slightly sweet I reckon the king crab meat is a lot better because it’s sweeter and more flavorful However the head is the best part It’s packed with a super rich and creamy row that has all the guts and in it It’s like liquid gold It’s so custardy and delicious And finally I couldn’t leave without eating a $44 kaisen don This one had super fatty and buttery slices of tuna that just melts in your mouth It also had delicate pink shrimp which had a natural sweetness I feel like raw seafood with rice is such a good combo This is the way to eat it Let me know Do you think all of this seafood was worth $350
