Tokyo Disney Resort announced dates and details of their annual Disney Halloween event, including the returning Disney Villains parade and Halloween Greeting. For the first time, Tokyo Disney will also host a “Coco”-inspired Day of the Dead event concurrently with Halloween offerings.

Disney Halloween 2025 Dates

Disney Halloween at Tokyo Disney Resort will be from September 17 through October 31.

The Villains’ Halloween “Into the Frenzy” will be performed once daily on the Tokyo Disneyland parade route. It’s about 45 minutes.

The parade features six floats with characters like Dr. Facilier from “The Princess and the Frog,” Cruella de Vil from “One Hundred and One Dalmatians,” Captain Hook from “Peter Pan,” Maleficent from “Sleeping Beauty,” Jafar from “Aladdin,” Ursula from “The Little Mermaid,” Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and more.

Dr. Facilier leads the parade on a float that acts as the entrance to the Disney Villains’ party. During show stops, the Villains and Mickey & Friends dance to energetic music. Flames and smoke erupt from a float.

The show stops will be in the Westernland and Fantasyland area, the Plaza, and Tomorrowland and Toontown area.

Daiwa House Industry is show’s new sponsor this year. Daiwa also sponsors Stitch Encounter in Tokyo Disneyland and Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey in Tokyo DisneySea. This is their third time sponsoring a Tokyo Disneyland parade.

The Mickey flower bed at the park entrance will be Halloween-themed. Thorns and vines will adorn World Bazaar. At the center of the entrance area will be a Mickey-inspired pumpkin photo spot.

Around Cinderella Castle will be banners featuring Disney Villains. In Toontown, there will be pumpkin and ghost decorations.

The Haunted Mansion will be transformed for the season into Haunted Mansion “Holiday Nightmare,” Tokyo Disney Resort’s version of the Haunted Mansion Holiday “The Nightmare Before Christmas” overlay. This will be in place from September 16, 2025 through January 12, 2026.

At Tokyo DisneySea, the 15-minute Halloween Greeting in Mediterranean Harbor will be performed twice daily. Mickey, Minnie, Duffy, ShellieMay, and more characters will appear in their Halloween costumes on a decorated boat featuring a Jack-o’-Lantern. Guests can join in with a trick-or-treat-themed dance.

Mediterranean Harbor and American Waterfront will be decorated for the holiday. Passaggio MiraCosta and Palazzo Canals will have Italian-inspired decor.

In the New York area of American Waterfront, there will be pumpkin decorations.

Cast Members with light-up buckets will pass out candy to guests who say, “Trick or treat!”

This nighttime spectacular includes fireworks and music across both parks.

Halloween Food & Beverage

Special menus will be available at both parks starting on September 16.

In Tokyo Disneyland, Eastside Cafe will serve a special Ursula-inspired set (2,800 yen) featuring squid ink tagliolini pescatore, mussels, soft-shell shrimp, and baby scallops in a tomato sauce.

At Center Street Coffeehouse will be a dessert set (2,280 yen) with items inspired by Ursula, Maleficent, and Cruella de Vil. This will be available from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

In Tokyo DisneySea, Casbah Food Court will offer a Jafar-inspired spicy beef curry tinted black with bamboo charcoal, with tandoori chicken and red naan (1,580 yen).

Both parks will offer a Halloween sundae with pumpkin soft-serve, a maple-pumpkin churro, and caramel popcorn (850 yen). This will be at Ice Cream Cones in Tokyo Disneyland and Liberty Landing Diner in Tokyo DisneySea.

Costumes

Guests can dress up in Disney character costumes at both parks from September 16 through 30, and October 16 through 31. Guests must follow costume guidelines, including:

Guests in costumes other than those listed on the special web page as characters from eligible films and other works will not be admitted.Guests may not be allowed to enter the park if their costume does not follow the above or goes against park safety or costume policies.A changing space is not available at Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea. Guests must dress up and apply make-up at home or at their place of stay before visiting, or use the changing space at Ikspiari, which will be available for guests to use for a fee. The new “Coco”-inspired Lazos de la Familia celebration will be in Lost River Delta at Tokyo DisneySea from September 17 through November 2 to honor Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead).

There will be colorful decorations, including skull banners and marigolds on the Puente Buena Vista bridge. Entertainment will include mariachi music and dance performances. At Yucatan Base Camp Grill, special menu items inspired by marigolds will be available.

Around Puente Buena Vista, Cast Members will provide leaflets with information about Día de los Muertos. The back of each leaflet is designed as a “calavera” (skull) mask that guests can wear.

Tokyo Disney Resort Vacation Packages

Select Tokyo Disney Resort Vacation Package plans will include show viewing tickets (available only when booking through the Japanese version of the website) with “The Villains’ Halloween ‘Into the Frenzy’” as a selectable option.

Attraction Tickets included in plans will allow guests to experience Haunted Mansion “Holiday Nightmare” with reduced wait times.

Plans that include Park Restaurant Vouchers will allow guests to make a booking at Eastside Cafe or Center Street Coffeehouse, where exclusive Halloween-themed menus will be available.
