In America, if you're at the airport- or an airport hotel- and the food is expensive, it doesn't mean it will be high quality, it just means you're at the airport! Great vid, don't know if I'd sleep in that room, or sit at the window all night in the dark, watching the planes…
One of your funniest videos!
Dudes can absolutely take bubble baths. It's not just for ladies and kids! ❤
Sorry the food wasn't great, but at least you had dessert curry.
Looks like you need modern utensils like a fork and knife.
If I had seen you make that wrong turn in the hall and go back the other way, I'd announce a pilot deviation and then give you a number to call. 🥸
Perfect room for an avgeek.
I’d be at the window all night watching the planes.
Goodness, Solo San – all those vegetables rom the Conbini! Very useful video for anyone using the airport who needs to stay locally.
The main question (from a self admitted plane nerd) is are the “runway” numbers in the hallways accurate as to the actual direction you are going. 🤔🤓🛫🛬✈️
Great video! Really enjoyed watching
Another great help video Solo Travel!! What a nice hotel and theme. Not everybody needs a big room, but it had everything you need for a great stay. I didn't hear any noises from the airport so the room must be pretty tight to keep noises out. Too bad the food wasn't to your liking though. You just never know. Thank you for your review!
For US$113, I think the room is an excellent value.
amazing hotel
Breakfast selection was good. $34.00 For 10 little nibbles of meat and some rice was highway robbery 😮
Good grief that dinner place seems to know it's got a captive audience, metaphorically speaking. Stinks thr quality wasn't good for the price.
Thank you for the fun stay. I appreciate your videos.
Fridge in the room? Syrup for pancakes? Sad no flight to Canada. Wonderful video.
Can’t wait to book this hotel for the return flight from Japan! Love seeing the planes. Thanks for sharing! 🎉😊
It is also good to know that there are places without the "!!" certificate of approval. Thank you for sharing.
Thank god, no turbulence
Are the shuttle buses free from the hotel?
LOL, this is my 1st flight!!
Great video. Definitely recommended hotel for Avgeek, beside the decor, also some room facing the apron of the airport. Maybe little downside is on dinner time where not many options nearby, so bought some supplies before entering the hotel for dinner sounds great. It's great to mention there's breakfast included, and looks like you can eat whatever you want.
17:29 Chinese? Haha
Almost had me worried there wasn't going to be a breakfast curry.
I’m wondering if the runway number markings on the hotel carpet are actually aligned to compass headings. I would suggest they probably are.
I want to be on STJ’s flight! >^.^<
Thank you STJ! Sorry the food was not great… kind of sad that the store bought stuff might have been the best things you ate in this video.
Wait a minute. If there are more than one runway in the same direction, aren't they given designators to identify the 'correct' one. Why wasn't there a suffix to identify the floor level. Accidents happen, you know. Travellers could end up trying to get into the wrong room!
If you believe all that guff at 8:40, you will believe anything!
A contradiction in amenities in that restaurant fact sheet. Imagine charging folk just to sit!
that was some expensive bad looking bbq restaurant.
The hallway runway aesthetic is an interesting gimmick but it doesn't look very nice and it makes the whole thing seem stressful
You got me worried the curry option.
But desert you can't beat a good curry.
Aviate-navigate-communicate.
So nice hotel indeed
That's pretty nice for an airport hotel!
What a cool hotel! Love the runway hallways and the rooms look clean and accommodating. The overall design is really appealing. Would love to have this in TO, I'd book a room! PS, we spent our honeymoon at an airport hotel so we could watch the planes take off and arrive. Not quite the same as this hotel though
That was so cool
No shame in dude baths! They can be quite awesome 👌 women /romantic partners can be thrown into the mix❤
Confusing info about bathroom at restaurant lol
You are really good at eating
13:27 that was enough to tell me the yakiniku was subpar 😅
This hotel looks good, I like the airline vibes in the hallway, and also in the room. Also, its nice to see no carpets in hotel rooms. The food was dissapointing though, not one single "!!" in the whole video 🙂.
4:05 what a SMALL room x.x
Looks like a very nice hotel. Seems to have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Too bad the food was mediocre. Thank you for inviting us along on your stay 🙂
I can’t believe you ate those pancakes without butter and syrup 😅😢🤢
Oh, Solo-sensei took us somewhere fancy . Thank you!😊
Nice hotel. Like the floor looking like a runway. Cool idea. They should have put little lights along the wall like landing lights. The room is definitely cozy but everything you need is there and I'm sure most people just want a nice clean place to sleep before catching their flight. Breakfast was nice. Dinner was a little less in the high side but it's airport pricing I'm sure. Thank you!
My friend, you have a healthy appetite. I'd probably be OK with two or three pieces of flank or hanger steak, and 1/3 the rice.
There was a Japanese barbeque place in the Japantown area in San Francisco. I don't get there much anymore, but it was my hometown during student years.
Before I forget, the word is hangers, not "hungers". The item for hanging up a coat, pants, jacket… You had the right idea, but the wrong tense.
Japan's convenience stores are a real convenience and carry a wide inventory of items. We used to have the same here, usually run by Mom and Pop, but only in special cities now. Big business has destroyed much of US small business.
Thank you for sharing Tokyo Haneda, a little corner of it, at least.
Just in case we weren't clear, STJ-san is, in fact, a DUDE 😂
This was alot of fun, I'm really enjoying your new ideas for content recently 🤘🦘
