Bourbon
Bardstown Bourbon Company

Released on July 11, 2025, this is the second member of Bardstown Bourbon Company’s Distillery Reserve series. Extremely limited in quantity and packaged in 375-milliliter format, Hokkaido Mizunara Oak follows the series debut, Cathedral French Oak. This bottling is a blend of 9- to 18-year-old whiskeys that breaks down as such: 47% 15-year-old Kentucky bourbon distilled from a mashbill of 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% malted barley; 33% 14-year-old Kentucky bourbon made from 78% corn, 10% rye and 12% malted barley; 15% 9-year-old Indiana rye whiskey distilled from 51% rye, 45% corn and 4% malted barley; and 5% 18-year-old Tennessee bourbon with a mashbill of 84% corn, 8% rye and 8% malted barley. After marrying the liquids, the finished blend was finished for a lengthy period of 28 months in six 66-gallon barrels made of Mizunara oak sourced from Japan’s Hokkaido province. The finished product is bottled at 109.3 proof and will be available exclusively at Bardstown Bourbon Company’s distillery gift shop and Louisville tasting room for $99.99 each.
