Lotte’s Austin Boss will start in the game against Nippon-Ham on the 8th.
Through the team, Boss commented, “I’ve been hit a lot in the last two games, so I’d like to do some proper self-analysis, reflect on myself, make adjustments and then pitch again. I’d like to be able to use all of the pitches I have and carefully closer hitter in check. Summers in Japan are certainly hot, but summers in America are hot too. I would like to make sure I adapt to that.”
So far, Boss has pitched 78 2/3 innings in 13 games with a record of 2 wins and 4 losses and an ERA of 3.09.
