The fog quickly disperses, as the sun rises over Lake Ezu. The birds at roost break the silence and a boat glides over the still water in the morning glow. Lake Ezu is a part of Suizenji Ezuko Park, a superb oasis located 5 km (3 miles) southeast of downtown Kumamoto.
