I just bought a high miles 99' Acura Tl and I'd like to save it and eventually restore it. I'm new to JDM and I'm curious if there's an oil brand that is better or worse for JDM cars. I can get ams-oil at work for a discount but want to make sure that it's got the right additives. Any general advice about the car is also welcome. It's a 3.2 L with and Auto trans. TiA

Before anyone else says it. Unfortunately you’re car isn’t jdm. I wouldn’t waste the money on amsoil. Any 5w20 will be fine. Due to the high miles 5w30 might be to thin and leak out of old gaskets. You could try a synthetic blend first if no leaks then switch to synthetic on your next oil change. As for the car itself unfortunately again you bought one of the only hondas that has a small aftermarket community.
Wish these came in wagon form
