The hotel we stayed in tonight opened in 2020. I think It’s quite new. It takes about 8 minutes to walk from JR Sendai Station. If you come from JR Aoba-dori Station, it only takes 3 minutes. There are also many shopping streets in the Sendai city area. You can go shopping all the way. After visiting Yokocho, we are going back to the station. This is the strawberry we just bought. The big one is from Miyagi Prefecture, 550 yen. You can see that the portion is quite large. The small one is 380 yen. Let’s take it back to the hotel and refrigerate it, and come back to enjoy it later. Now let’s have breakfast first. There is a delicious rice ball restaurant next to the station. There are seats here and you can eat inside. The rice balls here are made from rice from Miyagi Prefecture. The most popular one is Mamejiro. Thethird one, the salmon, is sold out. The kelp flavor is also recommended by the staff. The second one is Nanban miso. We will each buy one to try later. Mamejiro is really delicious. No wonder it is the most popular one! It takes about 40 minutes to drive from Sendai Station by taking the JR Senseki Line to get here. You can arrange a sightseeing cruise . There are Zuiganji Temple and Godain nearby, which is very suitable for a day trip. There are so many people queuing for the freshly made octopus senbei !
