[Music] my name is Ronan and my name is Alex you join us here at the Hilton Okinawa sesoko Resort so do come with us and let’s see what this hotel is all about it doesn’t seem to have many reviews on YouTube so we’re going to be showing you around and let’s see what it looks like let’s [Music] go so the Hilton ceso Okinawa Resort and wow you can really tell this is a luxury resort in Japan straight away before we’d even gone to near the doors there was people coming out to get our luggage to make sure it met us at our room the resort Lobby is absolutely grand for a hotel in Japan as you can tell it was near Christmas there was some beautiful decorations it wasn’t overly decorated which you do get in a lot of hotels and you can just see the sea in the windows in the distance there check-in was totally quiet actually the hotel was very quiet we were here out of season and that was rather nice so welcome to room 1910 so we’re on the top floor um as you come in you’ve got a toilet nice wide sink area with what we’ve got here shaving kit cone vanity kit dental kit and then I guess it’s a hair dryer yes it is um and then some towels underneath big I was going to say that is a nice big tow not a tiny little thing um there we go and then in here we’ve got the wet room with the standard um shower gels conditioner and shampoo and this overlooks the main bedroom and there’s a blind which you can put down if you don’t want to shower in front of whever you’re staying with okay so coming into the main uh sort of living area um we’ve got a wardrobe here oh with a a I think that’s from stays here um Iron shoehorn um an ironing board that’s quite nice it’s got the locker sort of different ones this is interesting oh more bedding I guess that’s for the uh makeup bed got a safe which is good bathro pajamas feel nice as well those ones let’s how big they are okay yeah big ones um but yeah they’re nice people complain CH those in yeah this is probably the fanciest airon one we’ve had that looks like a normal aircon Unix other ones have been a little bit weird really nice room here um something that I do like about the Japanese hotels is the new ones all have water dispenser and ice machines on each floor which I think is a really good thing so you can always get some water and they always have a jug for your water um nice C espresso coffee machine uh very clean nice cup let’s have a look in the mini bar I doubt there’s going to be anything in here no that’s fine cuz we don’t ever use any of the mini bar cups again with teas coffee sugars nice to see a selection of teas um and again some nice oh this is really nice so more cups wine glasses if you would to have some wine and then a kettle and Ice Bucket that’s quite nice nice really nice sort of beach theme in here um that’s interesting it’s not even a draw but that’s fine um it’s just a lot of equipment the lighting panel which is nice and this is what this was really nice was the welcome on the bed and I’m not sure if you can see me if Alex goes back a little bit how big this bed is I won’t jump in it CU I’ll ruin that but that’s really nice welcome let’s see what it says oh okay right now that is very nice it is a hand written card in an art format so someone spent their time to make that so if I come close someone spent time to do that cuz it’s not on ink it’s literally that’s really nice I like that that’s some time spent um coming over to this part of the room more hotel information I wonder what this is is this a free drink I wonder winner prob W what do it if you peel it back further can you let you do it oh No Just says winner oh welcome information Sunset yoga they do a lot of yoga it seems here you like yoga don’t you quite a lot of restaurants um not planning on going to any of the restaurants but I guess we can see what the exact Lounge is like and then maybe um tissue yeah reasonable quality probably the fanciest hilon pen I’ve seen it’s got a nice click alarm clock all the way over here which is a bit interesting that is quite a long way um coming over to here again youve just got a nice sort bench area and then I think the most amazing part of this room um is the view so if you come out here and let’s have a look this is a view so oh gosh this is a view so let’s have a look really beautiful so let’s head down to the exec lounge and let’s see what that’s like head over head over here on the same floor so the executive Lounge was actually open between 10 and 8 although they have different items on the menu throughout different parts of the day so when we arrived initially it was about 3:00 p.m. so there wasn’t much out being offered but just wow look at the size of this space you can tell this is a new Hilton it’s got that new design and there was an ice cream machine that was open and I absolutely love an ice cream machine you’ve got your coffee machines two types of coffee machines plenty of juices and sadly again it’s a theme running in Japan they only have Coca-Cola no diet soft drinks there but look at the view from this executive Lounge it’s just blue oceans White Sands and a view of the resort you can’t get better than this I can really imagine in the summer this would be absolutely stunning in sort of 25 plus degree heat but for afternoon nibbles they had Okinawa Donuts they’re basically a hard doughnut which was really interesting but they were still really nice um but this is at dinner and I have to say this has got to be one of the best executive Lounge dinners I have had in a long while they had potato wedges with some fish the wines saki loads of spirits they even had some red and white wines which was great to see coming round they had a large selection of salad which is always nice with humus um there was even loads of salmon that they kept replacing which I thought was quite nice cuz that’s not the cheapest sadly the ice cream machine was put away they even had some sparkling wine which I really do appreciate I think think that’s something that more hotels could do with proper champagne glasses and actually this is the first place I’ve had a beer and I actually quite enjoyed it it was an Oran beer which is a local to the area so after that we headed down to explore the resort more this is on the ground floor on the same level as how you can head outside to the gym to the right there or to the sparm area but we decided to head out down to the beach so do come along and and wow just look at the size of this pool you can really tell this Resort has been built for the summer down in the islands of okara it would be absolutely stunning if it was a little bit hotter but let’s head down and let’s have a look to see what this beach is like with this sped up footage you can really tell the scale of this Resort and you can even tell really how windy it was and this is it this is the whole hotel from the front part of where near the beach is and you can just tell wow here we are there’s a grill restaurant down near the beach but we didn’t get a chance to try this but I’m sure it’s absolutely beautiful as the rest of the hotel was and here we are at the beach that blue shallow crisp water with the white sand it is so appealing that I just want to come back here in the summer and experience this when it’s a little bit warmer so here we go yeah we’re just getting ready to check out from here at the Hilton sesoko Resort in Okinawa so check in uh there wasn’t any queue it’s not a very busy uh Resort but yep the check was really friendly um something that it seems to be every Hilton in Japan they offer late checkout at the check-in desk and it seems to be 1:00 p.m. the stand two hours later than you would if you weren’t uh sort of a status holder but yeah so once we’ve checked in we got a lovely little bag um which I guess is great for the beach or the pool but you do get to take that home so we’ll be taking that back to the UK so let’s see what Alex um let’s see what we thought about the uh room yeah sit on the room we thought the room was I mean we were upgraded but we thought the room room was amazing um the bed was absolutely huge um so big that I don’t think I could stretch out and touch you with my arm fully and I’ve got long arms um so yeah massive bed um we did notice the water pressure was perhaps the weakest out of all the hotels we’ve stayed in yet but it wasn’t like horrendous it was still powerful enough um so that was the only I think small little thing really a picture up on um but yeah the room itself is nice um nice Furnishings nice um mugs for your coffee tea and so on um that’s about it for the room I think unless there’s anything else you can think of nothing for me so then over to the EXA clown and I have to say um out of all the Hilton have stayed in in the last year this is probably my second favorite um actually the last two years probably my second favorite Hilton exec Lounge especially in the evening they had soft serve ice cream all day which is a 10 out of 10 for me the only downside is they didn’t have any diet drinks so they didn’t have Sprite Diet Sprite Diet Coke or anything that seems to be a common theme in Japan that they like all their sugary sweet stuff but the dinner offering to me was probably an 8 out of 10 um you could easily have a full meal um if you were happy with just sort of potato wedges and fish and there was a beautiful view from the exec Lounge as well which was nice and then ending with our review or our take on breakfast here so we thought it was very good um a wide selection of uh different food options were available um lots of juices um quite a wide it’s well it’s not quite wide it’s quite a long but kind of narrow breakfast area so I imagine just get really really busy here um in the I guess the more summer uh months um and then I think the the area that we were seated must have been the diamond area which is kind of at the far end it was it was nice out of the way although it was a bit of a track I think to get to the I imagine if it was busy it’d be good yes but it wasn’t so but it not the end of the world um but yeah know the breakfast was good you had ice cream didn’t you had ice two bowls of I not just one um and you also had a curry as well gosh you had he had pretty much um kind of a seven course dinner for breakfast so it just goes to show um this yeah really there’s a lot of options available and the quality was really good y so I certainly would recommend to stay and if to be honest if I think I came to Japan I think I’d fly down here and do probably a couple of days here um I think it was sort of you could easily do a few days here just chilling and relaxing especially if the outdoor pool was open yeah I think definitely in the when it’s a bit hotter I mean it’s what 21 degrees today still t-shirt whatever but it’s not I don’t think outdoor pool is it heated that’s I don’t don’t think it is is it any no but the indoor pool looked nice as well the facilities of the hotel are good yes so we are now off down to try another Hilton so you’ll see that video next next week so do remember do click that subscribe and if you
