  1. You can be my guide anytime, you know all the non-crowded areas!! Excellent budgeting with the Sica Card; I know there are others, the same applies to SIM cards. So let's go to bed and see what's in store for the morning. Oh, the Parfait was delicious looking!!

  2. I could spend several lifetimes in Tokyo and still not see everything the city has to offer.

  3. Thank you for taking us to so many places. We rented a car so we could see much more of the country. But I think it would be much quicker to use the trains to get around Tokyo. Hoping that episode 2 will include curry and !!

  4. I really like what you did in this video Solo Travel! Are you going to do more of them just using different scenarios each time? The suggestions you gave for making this layover run smoothly was brilliant! Thank you so much!!

  5. For foreigners using Tokyo Subway: You do not need to be able to read Japanese. Subway lines and stations are very logical and labeled in English. Subway station exits are labled with numbers.
Use Google Maps to ride the subway. It gives you exact details. It tells you the best number subway car to use, as well as the exact exit numbers. Also use Google Translate camera function. Point it at any japanese text, and it translates to English. Tickets, signs, menus. It is a miracle. You can also use Google Translate to have a conversation with Japanese people. They know how to do it. GO TO JAPAN! have the time of your life. 🙂

  6. I love this, you have a beautiful country. This video was a great idea. I don't know if you like anime, but could you put together a video featuring anime excursions. Say like Yuru Camp, or Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru.

  7. I think my first introduction to the Sumida river was from the anime movie You're under arrest.

  8. I think when you put this video together with all we’ve learned about highlights of Tokyo in your other videos, it shows us how to plan a day out and be more confident using the city infrastructure. We would plug in our favorite destinations and use the basic tips you’ve given to make it happen. Thank you for this!

  9. It's very fortunate that you posted this video! I'm in the middle of writing a bit of a sci-fi novel and the Welcome Suica card info is very welcome, as I have three characters who are visiting Japan for a good part of a month (January) as part of it! It's a bit of a working vacation as two of them are a two-person band and the third is one of the musicians' mate, and they have three concerts at various halls. I have them in Akihabara at the time of this writing.

  10. I was slightly surprised your "guest" didn't have some curry to "eat" in the seat opposite. Like that time you took your "girlfriend" out…..🍛

  11. STJ-san, I think it is a mistake to say "simulation" in the title. It makes it sound like AI.

  12. Oh, my fabulous friend! What a thrill it would be to embark on adventures with you! I truly admire how you bring your subscribers along for the ride in your videos—such a thoughtful touch! Sending you lots of love; enjoy every moment and stay safe out there!

  13. I loved this video STJ and I was gonna say heyyy I wanna see where I’m sleeping lol 😂🤣😂 till next week then 👍🏻😉 great video!

  14. Life is so much easier when you have an experienced local guide. In Britain your day would be exactly the same… Except that it would be raining, your hotel would be miles away, called Fawlty Towers, and partially closed for repairs; the ticket machines would be out of order; the streets would be full of litter; the restaurant would have run out of the dish you wanted, and the local fish and chip shop would be closed until 4 p.m.; the prices everywhere would be too high; the people everywhere would resent your presence; wealthy, aggressive street beggars would pester you for money; pick-pockets would seek to distract you every three minutes; traffic jams would delay you and you'd miss every important rail connection; fog would roll in, blocking your view of the ancient, dirty city (don't worry: all our cities are ancient and dirty😂); and every tourist attraction would be closed for renovation. And it would still be raining. Also, raining. Plus rain. And litter. And more rain.

    Enjoy your stay… ☺️

[Just joking. Sometimes the rain and fog will go away and a gale will blow you into the River Thames.]

  15. STJ-San! Bravo 👏 This is a genius idea for a video. I really love this concept of you being our guide. This was so much fun!

  16. Thank you for taking us around Tokyo to see the sites that you like. I can't wait until "tomorrow" to see what else you have in store for us.

  17. Great video. Considering my country passport rank and this scenario only available if i need fly from or to American continent, I prefer staying in airport if i got Japanese carrier or other carrier when i need transit, even though the transit time is long. When i doing research on Google Flight, flight from my city where i live now to one of Major cities in US like LA or NY or in this case Chicago, mostly the top tier of reccomendation is using non Japanese airline for flight and transit at their hub. But I think this video is great for backpacker, especially on airport and station.
