Citi Names Investment Banking Co-Heads for Japan
The Japan investment banking unit at Citi has appointed co-heads, including a former Nomura executive.
Citi has appointed Akira Kiyota and Taiji Nagasaka as co-heads of investment banking for Japan, according to a statement. Kiyota joins from Nomura where worked since 2002 and served as senior managing director and global head of M&A since 2022.
In addition, Masuo Fukuda, vice chair of Citi Japan and head of investment banking for Japan, will assume the new role as vice chair for Japan and Asia North investment banking alongside his existing Citi Japan vice chair role.
