our [Music] tour guides Shenan and Endoan were great and ensured the whole tour ran smoothly great tour itinerary that allows you to see the key attractions in Nagano within a day the lunch included in the tour was also delicious located in a beautiful restaurant highly amazing experience we explored the temple and learned about the history we did a sake tasting then drove an hour to the monkey park where we had a delicious hot pot for lunch and then saw the monkeys the walk to see the monkeys was steep and slippery and did go on for a fair bit so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues however the experience this tour provided this tour is awesome it’s a big day but due to it being spread out and a few bus rides we weren’t tired at all lunch was incredible and our tour guide Kevin was fantastic very knowledgeable and a great guy definitely recommend eing the snow monkeys were indeed the highlight of the tour however the trip to Zenoji was another highlight as this 7th century temple is beautiful with the folklore shared out by K regarding the temple my groups as tour guide for first half of the tour it made joining the tour worthwhile versus visiting such a historical site on your own the other highlight worth mentioning was lunch at Hotarite was simply fantastic and delicious the snow monkey park experience is worth a 25 minutes hike up beware of falling snow from the trees during winter season although they add on to the overall experience plus the scenery was highlight was definitely the snow monkeys so wonderful experience to see them in their zone soaking in the onen and wandering around the humans haha lunch provided was also in a beautiful restaurant and the hot pot was so good what an amazing tour the guide were amazing and friendly the Japanese lunch was delicious and the highlight of the tour was numerous snow monkeys in the onsen the day we went please put on snow boots to prevent slipping as the trails can be slippery and you dnt want to slip your way to the monkeys embarrassed smiley face emoji embarrassed smiley face emoji an enjoyable day trip at Nagano suitable for those who like sake there is a good variety of sake for tasting and if you purchase more than 6,000 yen there is few delivery within Japan area the time at Senko Gi was a bit tight but there was ample time at the snow monkey park it was a good hike up the hill and we saw the monkeys enjoying the onsen in the snow tour was perfect tour guide very informative friendly and fluent in English sometimes felt a bit rushed but that is to be expected with tours food was amazing and a great cultural experience bus journey was convenient and smooth we got to see four monkeys and the views were to die for especially with the autumn colors saka experience was good and you got to try a lot and it was all very smooth though absolutely lovely experience our tour guide was very accommodating and nice this monkey park is difficult to get to if you don’t have a car so this tour package was very worth it and also the lunch they offered was topnotch thank you so much Micah for accommodating us with the tour i’m very thankful I got to see some monkeys despite it was a pretty good tour we visited three places in a couple of hours the temple and sake tasting are right next to each other which was convenient the lunch was so satisfying as well we were quite lucky to at least see three snow monkeys
