TBBAT – Tokyo Japan Teamlab Borderless – Mind-bending digital art installment and a must visit place
we’re here at Team Labs Borderless in Tokyo it’s a digital m art museum so we’re going to check it out we’re waiting in line right now uh not 100% sure what to expect but it should be cool we’re in the dark right now [Music] [Music] they keep us in the dark i think they want our eyes to adjust to the dark that makes sense [Music] oh [Music] look at this [Music] i know this video is not going to do this justice guys but oh my god wow always [Music] [Music] All right you guys if you’re coming to Tokyo you got to check this out this one’s called Borderless these are all digital art displays i don’t know are these LEDs these must be projections yeah they’re projections [Music] wow [Music] [Music] whoa
you want to take me you want to have photo wow oh look at this whoa [Music] this just really is really hard to describe us so peaceful and just [Music] Ow [Music] heat you can’t tell obviously but they’re pumping odors too so there’s different smells in the different rooms to compliment the uh the music and the light show it’s just all these different senses heat heat [Music] [Music] come on [Music] [Music] come on [Music] [Music] yeah floor going now on this guys look at that look down there no look look it’s swirling around you thank you see it’s it’s following us around see look oh [Music] yeah and like the person said they were saying the front in the beginning the artwork changes all the time so each room’s different constantly this seems to be like a hub though for sure [Music] look [Music] wow [Music] guys this is so freaking trippy take a big old pile of shrooms before you come here [Music] wow [Music] [Laughter] [Music] this is so cool oh my god [Music] here hold this for a second let go [Music] oh look at big barrel what are they bringing they’re bringing beer [Music] oh my god this is You could literally just stay in these rooms a room like this and just not move and just watch it and just for I don’t know forever you didn’t want me [Music] to do that i don’t do it [Music] [Music] wow if I haven’t already said this a thousand times guys this is trippy as all hell oh wow heat heat heat heat heat heat heat heat heat heat sorry so this exhibit here this this installment has moved completely from we’re in a different area right now and it’s followed around it’s just moving around to a different area it’s totally wandering through the entire place it’s so freaking awesome [Music] [Music] wa [Music] see the smell changed [Music] wow [Music] i don’t know if this is Can I like [Music] I don’t know how this is going to look but there’s mirrors combined with these Jesus [Music] [Music] and there’s a a gradual the floor goes up [Music] and it’s oddly shaped too [Music] [Music] oh the mirror was right there it’s not it’s back here can you imagine having to be the one that cleans these mirrors i thought I did [Music] oh wow total Alice and Wonderland stuff going on here look at that amazing oh my god i’m going in guys [Music] flower animals paka saka smile [Music] smile [Music] clear H [Music] that is really great all [Music] right we’re entering another new dimension here guys bubble universe [Music] oh [Music] I see wait oh she’s going to Okay I see [Music] there are so many rooms and they’re all over the place and since everything changes
it’s actually easy to miss rooms [Music] please come this way got it thank you hey please go ahead
thank you whoa look [Music] wow [Music] the use of um the light the mirrors everything is just amazing you really do lose Sense of where the walls are [Music] [Music] oh my god i thought that was a a mirror wall right there there it is okay [Music] just mirror to the right [Music] solange [Music] [Music] difficulty all right guys that was the Team Labs borderless uh display art exhibit at the Mory building in Tokyo what do you think thought it was awesome absolutely amazing and well worth it um wasn’t too expensive i think it was maybe $30 or $40 US trying to remember off the top of my head to put it down later on um well worth it you can spend as much time as you want in there for the most part [Music]
This place ranks among the best places I have ever visited in my travels. Such a good time, bind-bending artwork and jaw dropping displays. A must visit if you are in Tokyo!!!
