STRAIGHT WOMAN HERE AND JAPAN IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE COUNTRY IN THE WHOLE WORLD. there is no people like Japanese people and no country like Japan
For me, it's that everyone else shows the same amount of common courtesy and social awareness. Something that's sorely lacking in a lot of US cities. I can quietly ride the train and not get bothered. People don't block the sidewalks or buildings or escalators. I know that it might just be the "public face", but you don't realize how much these things are missing until almost everyone is doing it.
Because Japan is fucking kool! Ninjas, robots, and food! Nin nin!!!
Anime, video games, samurai culture.
I'm obsessed with Japan, I wanted to go be a teacher there but it's too hard to move with the whole family. However I love Japan because of the culture, the food, the mix of ancient traditions and futuristic technology, anime, the beauty of the language and of course the beautiful women. Oh and I can't forget the history. Such a rich history!
Straight guys have a weird obsession with going to Japan? …news to me. 🤔
Personally, because Im a man and I want to explore. I want to feel comfortable. I want to learn knew skills and techniques . I want to teach what I learn to my children and other children instead of “his friends a where you are and this is what you have to be..” I want to travel the world and influence the next generation so that they can pass on knowledge. That is with more than staying stationary with any woman.
I went to Japan because my ancestors were captured during Japanese invasion to korea in 1592. They developed pottery into another level.
Anime, video games, food, lovely and kind people, peaceful and tranquil areas. It’s got everything for me and I love it.
My husband is obsessed with animation done by hand. Anime is one of the last bastions of this. He is attracted to the clean aesthetic of Tokyo also.
Because Japans culture appeals to good men. Clean cities, honourable living. Cultured decency such as silence in transport. They apply principles in daily life that appeal to people, clean public bathrooms, smoking areas, umbrella stands and wraps/driers to keep them from dripping on floors.
Their history is rich, whether that's Myamoto Musashi, Dr Masaru Emoto or Hatori Hanzo and Oda Nobunaga.
Everything about Japan from PC Bangs to Anime (Demon Slayer), along with temples, castles, carpentry and metallurgy all scream interest.
I could get lost in Japan just learning like a dumb Gaijin. I would always be respectful of Japan, its religions, its people and observe their cultural differences and do my best to act appropriately where applicable.
I haven't seen anything about Japan that I don't like. They even run their prisons in such a way they see a declining population rather than America who just re-imprisons people throughout their lives.
The world should be proud of Japan. They represent the very best of us. I live in Scotland and the way we run things is a mess compared to the Japanese.
The cars and women in that order ❤
As a history person, I am astounded by the kind of videos about Japan.
What’s the weird stuff i don’t even know
Japan’s obsession with Americana and vintage clothing is what I find fascinating
Japan has very interesting history, beautiful architecture, amazing food, and Pokemon 😂🔥
Many people are also obsessed with visiting my home country, but as a people we naturally love to embrace those who embrace us 🇯🇲❤
Just dropping in to say Jesus loves you and can give you peace no matter where you are in the world or what's going on around you. He is God and has done the best thing for you and everyone in this world. To find out what this is, tell chat Gpt to "explain the Gospel to me, I have no idea what it is or who Jesus is" ❤
I had no idea all these people wanted to go to Japan.
Actually, other than a few tourists, I thought I was the only one😂😂😂😂
At least in America.
I’ve never met anyone who wants to go there.
But when I hear all of these things, maybe I studied the wrong language, maybe I should have fell in love with a different language country. I’m confused now.
I mean, Japan has Tokyo, a city that, aside from all the nerd culture (which I enjoy), is also a WALKABLE city, with public transportation that'll ruin you for anything the US has. Japan has a vibe that is both remarkably chill, but still bustling. To foreigners, I'm sure Japan seems to have a cultural sense of self other nations are struggling with. Of course the reality is WAY more nuanced than that, but having been (and going again soon), I definitely get the appeal. shrug
It’s anywhere other than america. Obviously, there are a multitude of other reasons, but that’s my jump.
Go there, but don't be obnoxious. Keep to yourself and don't draw attention.
I just want to go there for the food!! 🤤🤤
That girl seems pretty angry
I came to Japan because I like Honda 🫣
The women are very sweet and faithful
Wrong it's because men are obsessed with Samurai
I follow this channel because YT kept suggesting it because it knows how weird I am. And I like Japan. 🙂
Girl polite😂
I’m not into anime, video games, and the food tbh. When I went there I met some of the nicest respectful people. And the atmosphere there feel with people that love and respect their community and land. I love the weather. And definitely want to go back, I already miss it.
I've been gaming since 1981, I do like some anime (Macross (though I was introduced to it as Robotech) has been a fave of mine for yeeaaars..and yes, I'm that old).
But if I ever had the opportunity to go to Japan, it'd be to experience the culture, listen and observe. Find a quiet spot, even if it's on a roof to where and just absorb everything in.
What interests me are artisans, apprenticeships…and the history of things tarnished by other cultures. Whether some things have regained reputation or regained their true essence.
I'd probably stop by a temple and marvel at the architecture, but wouldn't go in. Won't partake in anything that goes against my own personal beliefs.
And then I'd go and track down local waterfowl. Have a love of waterfowl (not for eating either) so that'd be an absolute must.
The cuisine does interest me to a point, but my pallet leaves much to be desired. Bad enough getting angry looks from cooks or chefs regarding my personal tastes here in the states…I'd be too afraid to offend Japanese Chefs. IE – I Only eat meat well done. Raw meat and my stomach don't get along if you get my drift. Rare to even medium well doesn't work for me either. Well done only. And this includes seafood as well.
Japanese cooking of veggies does interest me. I have a lot of food aversions (allergies, ARFID, and partial anosmia). I'd like to try different ways of eating things. May be able to find a better and more balanced way of eating. Heaven knows I definitely need it.
I'd be more interested in quieter spots. Less is more. Less people = better opportunities to experience the true essence of things, in my opinion.
Girls are obsessed with Japan as well.. but yeah it's nice I can't fault it. I still only stayed 10 days. Maybe it's in my top 10 countries
I have no desire to go to Japan. I don't want people look at me "oh an american or european". No thx.
I love all the people getting upset that you are standing up for Japan. Like visit somewhere else then! They like Asia, but they don’t like consent 😂
I wanted to go to Japan because of how clean it is, how innovative their culture is with small quality of life benefits and how respectful they tend to be to each other.
