How many wallets can you put in? That’s the story. And there are two pockets on the outside, so you can put disinfectant wipes and things like that , and you can even put a plastic bottle in the back ! You might think that you can fit a lot in just this, but behind this, you can even put a computer! If you can fit all these things in it , you can carry it all even if you’re worried about going out to eat while traveling, wanting to switch off , or maybe even getting thirsty ! If you carry a backpack on your back, you might be scared of being pickpocketed, so this is a wearable backpack. It’s an absolute must for people who travel! Traveling is an investment in yourself.

沖縄本島南部、南城市の東の海に浮かぶ久高島は、「神の島」とも言われる沖縄屈指の聖地です。面積は約1.38平方キロメートル、人口はおよそ200人前後（※2023年時点）と小さな島ながら、その神聖な雰囲気と独特の文化に惹かれて、多くの人々が訪れます。

久高島は、琉球神話の創世神・アマミキヨが降り立ち、国づくりを始めたとされる伝承が残る場所です。島の至るところに御嶽と呼ばれる聖地が点在し、今も神事や祭祀が島の生活に深く根づいています。

なかでも「イザイホー」という儀式は12年に一度行われる女性の継承儀礼として知られていましたが、現在は後継者不足により休止中です。

島では自然を壊さない暮らしが大切にされており、自転車でゆっくり一周できる道のりに、美しいビーチやサンゴ礁、静かな集落が広がります。立ち入りは禁止されている場所もあるため、観光の際には現地のルールを守ることが重要です。

グルメは、島の風土と文化が色濃く残る独特なもの。中でも「イラブー汁」は特筆すべき一品で、燻製にしたウミヘビを煮込んだ濃厚なスープです。かつて琉球王府にも献上されていたという滋養強壮の料理です。

アクセスは、沖縄本島南部の安座真港からフェリーで約25分、高速船ならわずか15分。便数は少なめなので、事前の確認が必要です。

島内は徒歩かレンタサイクルでの移動がメインで日帰りも可能ですが、夜の静寂や星空を味わうには、ぜひ一泊をおすすめします。トゥクトゥクもありますね・
