[JAPAN] 🇯🇵 Visiting Sunosaki Lighthouse & Sunosaki Shrine – Scenic Cape in Chiba(June 22,2025)Ep.112

On June 22, 2025, I visited Sunosaki, a scenic cape at the western edge of Tateyama in Chiba Prefecture, Japan.
This peaceful journey took me to the Sunosaki Lighthouse and the spiritually rich Sunosaki Shrine, surrounded by the sea and sky.

🔹 Sunosaki Lighthouse
First lit in 1923, this historic lighthouse guides ships into Tokyo Bay.
On clear days, you can enjoy panoramic views of the Miura Peninsula and even Mount Fuji.

🔹 Sunosaki Shrine
An ancient Shinto shrine believed to be linked to the legendary Prince Yamato Takeru’s eastern expedition.
It has long been worshipped for maritime safety and local prosperity.
The peaceful grounds, long stone steps, and torii gate leading to the open sea create a deeply spiritual and beautiful atmosphere.
