Katsuoji is one of the most famous and oldest temple in Kansai

It’s actually a bit far from Osaka city where most people stay so you need to expect a large part of your day will be spent in the Minoo city

It costs 500yen to enter the temple grounds and get a blank postcard
The stamp design changes every now and then so you might get a different postcard

The temple is pretty much covered with Darumas but mostly not the ones you expect
Most Darumas there are small dolls that are like the size of an inhaler

If you are using the Osaka Amazing pass, the latter part of the metro ride won’t be covered
But don’t worry, you don’t need to tap out at Esaka station just to buy another ticket
Instead you can just do this:
1️⃣Tap within Osaka city and take the metro all the way to Minoo-kayano station
2️⃣Go to the Fare Adjustment Machines のりこし清算機 or station master
3️⃣Show them that you have the pass
4️⃣Pay the 240yen difference
5️⃣Get the new paper ticket and use it to exit the station

Remember to buy an extra ticket from Minoo-kayano to Esaka when you head back
