Toyota crown royal saloon G at 34k miles for $9k.
I have worries about long term reliability, especially about the various plastics and rubbers that must have degraded over the 2½ decades.
I fucking love these luxury crowns, but my parents want me to get a new car for more than twice the price because they are just less of a hassle. Also part sourcing must be a bitch.
There's also a 2000 crown majesta C class for 10k at great mileage and impeccable condition plus full service history that I really want but it's 8 hours away.
Should I get any of these or just go with a newer car?
I got other cars i can use in a pinch btw.

As someone who dailies a rhd toyota in the us, so far it’s been fine, just make sure to have extra brake pads and maintenance items on hand ahead of time to avoid having it down while waiting on parts. I can get an oil filter, wipers, tires and fluids at orileys but things like rotors are from japan.
Do you live somewhere where you can get parts easily?
