[Niigata 03] Exploring Kiyotsu Gorge (清津峡)

Hey everyone! We’re back with the third video of our Niigata 2025 travel series.

In this video, we took on the challenge of visiting one of Japan’s “Three Great Gorges” (日本三大峡谷) – the stunning Kiyotsu Gorge (清津峡) – without a car!

We leveraged our JR Pass for a brief shinkansen journey to Echigo-Yuzawa (越後湯沢), then discovered a fantastic tourist bus solution that made this bucket list destination accessible by public transport.

We had an incredible time exploring the ‘Tunnel of Light’, and witnessing the dramatic rock formations. So, please join us on this adventure to check off one of Japan’s most scenic spots!
