HAKONE & KAMAKURA | DAY TRIPS FROM TOKYO | Hakone Shrine, Torii of Peace, Shichirigahama Beach

Ohayo gozaimasu! 😊 Today’s activity brings us to a daytrip to Hakone We are on our way to Shinjuku where we
will catch the direct train to Hakone We were supposed to ride the “Romancecar” which was the
direct train to Hakone But upon arriving at the ticketing office, the service
was undergoing maintenance So we had to take two train rides to Hakone But all is well ☺️ Travel time is less than 2 hours We have arrived! πŸ₯³ But first, lunch. There are heaps of restaurants near the station Explored the nearby spot from the station Just beautiful Waiting for the bus to get to Lake Ashi We purchased the Hakone Free Pass which is a
discount pass for exploring Hakone On a clear day, Mt. Fuji can be seen from the lake We also wanted to see Hakone Shrine’s famous red torii gate on the water This is called the Torii of Peace While Hakone Shrine boasts several large torii gates,
the Torii of Peace is the crown jewel So peaceful Look at the queue for the photo spot 😳 So as soon as we got here, we went in the queue πŸ˜… While in the queue, it was a good time to appreciate the
beautiful landscape surrounding us We’re getting nearer! 😁 We patiently waited a little over an hour Here we go… Just casually keeping it cool as we pose for photos while trying
not to feel self-conscious in front of all the spectators πŸ˜… This torii gate is really breathtaking and divine.
No wonder this spot is frequently featured on social media We continued to explore the rest of the Hakone Shrine This is absolutely beautiful It’s very picturesque deep in the woods with giant cedar trees It’s time to go back to the main park Next, we decided to ride this cool Pirate Ship Sightseeing Cruise Riding the ship is included in the Hakone Free Pass The ferry itself is an attraction to visitors We were impressed by the details of the ship The cruise is about a 25-minute ride The Hakone sceneries seen from the lake is absolutely beautiful We missed out on these cable car rides. It was
already closed when we got here Now going back to the station to head home Their greeneries are so vibrant. Hakone is something different We’re low key glad that we missed the cable car because the
sceneries of the bus ride going back was absolutely stunning Buying some take home snacks πŸ˜‹ The Romance Car is now back in operation How cool is this! Time to eat! πŸ˜‹ This is a chicken bento box This train ride will only take 80 minutes from Hakone to Shinjuku Now back in Ginza Can’t miss our nightly konbini run 😁 Our Family Mart favourites Ohayo! We are going on a daytrip to Kamakura today Kamakura is a charming little coastal town It is located just an hour outside of Tokyo We specifically wanted to visit Kamakura because of its beaches We will be riding the Enoden (Enoshima Electric Railway) The Enoden Line is a very cute little train line Everyone waiting for the train The station is located right on the beachfront This vicinity was featured on the anime Slam Dunk That’s why we want to see this spot πŸ˜… The train crossing right in front of Sagami Bay is
quite an attraction, not just for fans of anime

Locals and tourists alike flock to this spot to capture this epic scene Coming here in the early days of summer is a
perfect time to enjoy this coastal town We quite enjoyed train spotting Walking along the street in search for a good resto for lunch And we found one with the best view! First time trying pizza with fries on top 🀀 Food is superb! Time to explore the nearby beach We have always wanted to explore the coastal side of Japan As every other tourist spots in Japan, they have kept their beaches clean Visitors can also visit this island Went to the nearby 7/11 to grab some ice cream to cool down Time to go to Kamakura Station Summer means Hydrangea season Just having a look around the station Kamakura is huge! Just a short walk from the station is this famous street This is the main shopping street of Kamakura and is filled with amazing
street food vendors and different shops selling local crafts. We’ve been in search for chopsticks rests And we found the perfect ones! Next stop is this matcha store All added to cart 🀣 We really can’t resist a dog cafe! πŸ˜… Treats to bribe the pups Here you can lure the dogs with treats and cuddle them Our hearts are melting from these cuties! 😍 Grabbing another street snack for our hungry tummies Shirasu is a type of whitebait (immature fish).
It’s a popular delicacy in Kamakura *Dilis = Anchovy Next, we went into this store which sells beautiful folding fans We bought our Moms some personalised folding fans We saw crab sticks on the way, so we are getting one before we leave Time to go home πŸ₯Ή Octopus crackers to take home πŸ˜ƒ That’s a wrap. We quite enjoyed our day 😁 Kamakura is truly a gem Passed by the supermarket to buy some dinner We will be going to DisneySea tomorrow.
We’ll see you guys on the next video☺️
