Noboribetsu Jigokudani | Explore the natural wonders of Hokkaido
Noboribetsu Jigokudani is a double shock of vision and mind, allowing you to feel the power and beauty of nature. This is a fantastic landscape left by a volcanic eruption. The steaming sulfur and hot surface are all around. It’s like being in another world, shocking and spectacular!
Warm Tips:
• The temperature is lower in winter, so be careful to keep warm.
• Typhoons are expected to be stronger, so be sure to stand steady when taking photos.
• Although ice cream is delicious, don’t be greedy!
• Respect animals, don’t feed or disturb cows at will.
• Keep a safe distance from brown bears, and don’t feed them your own food.
• The sulfur smell in Hell Valley is strong, but it’s harmless, so feel free to play.
• The road may be icy in winter, so it is recommended to wear non-slip shoes.
