you are ruining Japan imagine waking up at the home in the morning you see a random drunk American sneak inside your home what would you do recently a drunk entitled American tourist quietly illegally entered into a temple in Kyoto’s Higashiyama district no he would not enter from the front door he took a back kitchen entrance stumbled through gardens and decided to climb onto a fragile wooden railing around the hall that railing was designated a heritage site in 2015 but it got snapped under his heavy weight a nearby door was also damaged he did that because he just want to see the temple at that time this temple is tied to Oda Yurukusai the samurai brother of Odin Nabunaga and dates back to 1202 unlike other tourist hotspots it is usually quiet with no security guards or ropes japanese locals are mad because this is another example of entitled tourist disrespect in Kyoto acting like an wild animal outside their country he chose to drink to the out of control level seriously he should stay

As much as I love Japan Japanese culture I don’t think I’m gonna go visit now. Just continue to appreciate Japanese culture here in the states.🤟🏽

There were forgein tourists in my small town in georgia that got drunk and burnt down an old historical site for fun. So it happens all over the world, people suck.
Before you complain to much go to Bangkok late at night and watch how Japanese men behave. There’s plenty of criticism to go around.
Make an example of him.
I would never ever think of doing this. Thats why i only drink when my boss has my coworkers and i go out for karaoke 😅
You can be more selective in accepting tourists.
