character themed cafes and restaurants starting at number five on our list Sanrio rainbow World 
restaurant at Sanrio Puroland have you visited Tokyo Sanrio Puroland some people call it Hello 
Kitty land but it has a lot more to offer Puroland is a fantastic theme part park where you get to 
see some of the cutest Sanrio characters live shows experience the most kawaii rides ever and 
shop for the latest character themed merchandise and of course one of the attractions is their 
Sanrio Rainbow World Restaurant located on the fourth floor of the theme park the restaurant 
is a food court styled restaurant where you can enjoy hamburger steaks pasta and other 
popular dishes this super adorable Hello Kitty bento box is a must try it comes with croquet 
sausage french fries some vegetables and cheese as the portions are a bit small we also order 
three different pasta dishes with Cinnamoroll, Pochacco and Gudetama we absolutely love these 
dessert cups the best part is you can even take the ceramic mugs as souvenirs. Which character

online in advance online sites such as Klook offer open-ended tickets and instant confirmation check

our list Sanrio Cafe Ikebukuro this Cafe Restaurant is located in Sunshine 
City shopping mall in Ikebukuro as you enter the restaurant you will first see the takeout 
area here you can buy Sanrio character themed dojima rolls Donuts ice cream and other 
items there’s a souvenir area also where you can buy different merchandise one 
of the highlights is their decorations check out this piano and the Hello Kitty 
bus we waited for about half an hour hour to get in the place is often crowded as 
it’s located in a busy shopping area of Tokyo the dine-in part of the restaurant 
is beautifully decorated check out these drawings and the giant coffee cups hanging from 
the ceiling they also have so many cute plushies inside the restaurants you can take pictures and 
videos with them we visited the cafe in December and they offered a special Christmas menu 
we ordered a couple of Hello Kitty and Pochacco lattes a My Melody pancake 
and a Hello Kitty burger and pork bun. Number three on our list is Cinnamoroll 
Cafe in Shinjuku this Cafe is only 4 minutes walking distance from the famous Shinjuku 
National Garden if you haven’t been to the Garden we highly recommend it it’s 
one of the best places to see the cherry blossoms we waited in line for about half an 
hour although there were only two to three groups of customers in front of us we think 
one of the reasons is that there are only six to seven tables in the restaurant fortunately 
there is a character themed merchandise shop right next to the cafe I spent some time 
shopping there and picked up a discounted half price Hello Kitty plushie yay! unlike the 
other restaurants on our list this character themed Cafe is all about Cinnamoroll if you’re 
a fan of Cinnamoroll you will definitely love it we love their decorations both inside and outside let’s take a look at their menu wow 
all the dishes and drinks are so Kawaii. what should we have oh look they also offer 
a special cherry blossom theme menu for the spring season we ordered a strawberry sponge 
cake cinnamon cappuccino from the regular menu and the strawberry milk tea from their 
spring menu check out these beautiful coasters they also have this suir corner where 
you can pick up various Cinnamoroll merchandise have you ever visited this Cinnamoroll 
themed restaurant I’ve included a link to their official website in the 
description below check it out for more information number two on our list Sanrio 
Characters Garden Cafe in Ueno there are so many reasons why we really like this Cafe 
Restaurant it’s all also one of the highest rated Sanrio themed restaurants on Google 
reviews we enjoyed their friendly service unique food and drinks relaxing environment 
and of course the super kawaii interior decorations we first visited the cafe 
in March 2023 soon after it opened and we liked it so much that we returned 
again in December of the same year located in Ueno the Sanrio Characters 
Garden Cafe is only a 3 minute walk from the nearest Jr station exit and 
only 6 minutes from Ueno Park they have seating areas for different characters such as 
Cinnamoroll, Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, Kuromi, My Melody and Little Twin Stars they even have 
a VIP room available check out these adorable decorations we chose the Cinnamoroll sofa area let’s take a look at their menu they 
have different Sanrio character croissants, curry dishes and pastas in the regular menu .special dishes and drinks are 
also available in the Spring menu too check out these gorgeous afternoon tea sets we ordered a cinnamoroll pizza and a Hello Kitty parfait our package comes 
with unlimited coffee and tea on our previous visit we 
ordered a picnic set with Hello Kitty and Pochacco it had croissants, 
salad and drinks aren’t they adorable unlike many Sanrio themed restaurants this 
Cafe actually allows for reservations in fact we recommend that you reserve the seating 
area and the theme for your favorite sanro character to avoid disappointment so check

on our list and our top recommendation is Restaurant Yakata at Sanrio Puroland located 
on the fourth floor of the Sanrio Puroland theme park this is the ultimate Sanrio 
themed restaurant we recommend going there well before lunchtime to avoid the 
huge lineups Restaurant Yakata is a buffet style restaurant there’s a 70-minute time 
limit for each visit check out the beautiful Decor some of the sanre characters will 
also come and visit the restaurant today Cinnamoroll dropped by he is so 
popular all the children are screaming look at these Sanrio character 
themed dishes aren’t they adorable restaurant yakata is a fun-filled restaurant 
where you can enjoy a Great Buffet meal and relax before heading back to the live 
shows rides and shops inside Puroland as mentioned earlier we have put links
