Taking Kids To Tokyo… BIG Mistake??? 🇯🇵 Shibuya Food Tour!

we’re the wonder lust kids zoe ed oliver and violet in this video we’re taking you around our favorite cafes and restaurants in shabuya stick around till the end our top pick might surprise you good morning good morning it is a very rainy day today but the kids got a whole night’s sleep which is fantastic so we’ve headed straight out this morning to the scramble crossing the busiest crossing that you get here in japan doesn’t actually seem that busy this morning but everyone’s got their umbrellas up so we’re going to just take a look it looks like the starbucks here has got the best place to observe everyone crossing over so we’re going to pop and see if we can get a table and watch all the crazy people crossing the crazy streets we are so we’ve come into starbucks little bit of a wait for a table but definitely worth it you can see the scramble crossing behind me it’s definitely the best place to see it especially when it’s raining so you can see everyone’s about to cross now it’s like everyone just appears out of nowhere it looks quiet and then as soon as you can cross everyone goes for it so we’ve just come to take cover from the rain a well needed coffee so we found this place on instagram called weiss issue and they actually put like latte art in the big foam in the cups of coffee so the kids have ordered a hot chocolate and i think daddy’s ordered a hot chocolate as well so you’ll have to keep watching to see to see what we’ve all put in them hopefully they taste as good as they all look so it is quite pricey at 8 quid a drink so i really hope that they are tasty and as we came up the stairs they did straight away say that we all had to have a drink one each so it is a bit pricey at 8 quid a drink so i really hope they’re tasty and i hope the kids actually drink them as we were coming up the stairs they did say that we all have to have a drink so they obviously want to make sure that everyone’s ordering properly that’s one thing we’ve noticed here is the price of drinks and things don’t seem to be too expensive which is quite good but maybe because this is a bit more specialist it’s more expensive oh violet look kitty kitty is that good so many things daddy went for pikachu is it nice yeah it’s nice yeah don’t destroy him i’m going to have to go around it oh wow i wanted the e oh wow oliver look at that wow that’s cool you’re going to eat it [Music] oh amy’s here violet do you want to taste mine can i stop it [Music] oh uhoh uhoh can i just have a rest of it okay that’s enough you eat it very milky it’s okay i think you come here more for the art so we will still enjoy it changing my movie so because it’s raining we’re not really too sure what sorts of things to get up to today we were thinking of going up the tower but because the weather’s not great we’re not sure we’d get much of a view so we asked the kids what they wanted to do and violet pleaded to go back to the piggy cafe so that is where we’re headed now i just hope they’ve got a table but being a weekday hopefully it shouldn’t be quite so busy it’s still quite early in the morning so looks like a lot of it’s shut the street’s not too busy yet so hopefully she enjoys it as much as she did yesterday she even wanted to wear the same outfit this morning because she said the piggies loved it so much and i’m think oliver must have been a little bit scared of the pigs cuz he doesn’t want to do it today [Music] you got one there i got free free what happened did she lick you [Music] we’ve just come for some lunch and we’ve chosen to try some sushi this place looks super cool so the food comes on the track and you have a screen that you order your food from this is coke with toy daddy what are you eating you got what california roll is it good you’re nice oliver we got some chips too mom of course you can some shrimp tempura here and violet pressed a button and ordered something she shouldn’t have done not too sure what that is but the kids are enjoying some chips so one downside to coming here with the kids is they’re pressing all the buttons and they keep ordering things but we don’t know what they’re ordering really hot not sure wow no it was violet’s food i think it’s time for you to get hot that was a really tasty lunch unfortunately it’s still raining so we’re going to go back out into the rain now i definitely recommend that although the kids did enjoy ordering things that they didn’t didn’t need but never mind we only spend about £15 so it’s quite a good cheap lunch as well but you can probably rack up a bill quite quickly so just be just be careful i i guess and be mindful of what you’re ordering but the sushi was delicious we’re just going for a nice walk around tokyo now to see if we find any other nice areas we’ve come down one of the streets it’s so cool all the signs all the music playing there’s a real buzz when we come to these places it’s really really lively it’s great one thing i’ll say about japan is it’s so clean as well you don’t see rubbish everywhere something else we’ve noticed is on the the underground and things no one seems to eat or drink so there’s no rubbish i don’t know whether that’s is that like they’re not allowed to eat and drink on transport or they don’t maybe leave a comment if you know any more information for us there’s also definitely quite a language barrier here which can be a little bit of a struggle and um if you’ve got crazy children like we have then you might get a few stairs because i think kids over here are very respectful so you will uh definitely be humbled if you bring your kids here to be fair you don’t we haven’t seen that many kids out and about it’s not that touristy here either for families i don’t think so there’s not many kids around one good thing is when we go to the restaurants they do seem to always have plastic cutlery and bowls for kids because they definitely don’t like it when when our kids start touching anything that might break they run come running straight over with with cutlery and their own plates which is a good thing really so we’re just back are we by the crazy crossing again it’s funny cuz as soon as it goes to a green man they all run out to get their pictures before everyone goes unfortunately we haven’t been blessed by the weather today but never mind we’re all crossing the road so many people and so many umbrellas it’s like duck duck the umbrellas found it found pepper parlor the robot cafe hope they got a table we made it we found it we knew we would just took a while so the kids are really excited so we’re going to show you all the experience of the robot cafe see what the food is like something a little bit different for the kids cuz you don’t really find much stuff like this anywhere else do you go on kids follow that robot it’s going to take us to our table so you order your food through scanning the app so it’s fairly easy to do they got a fair selection um they’ve got some ramen and then they’ve got maybe some different pastas pancake ido so i think that’s what we’ve gone for and chips and the kids are just enjoying pressing the buttons of the robot so it’s quite nice for them to have a distraction other than the phone at dinner tick tock tick tock tada [Music] like very hot the plate’s very hot as well no don’t do that won’t do that to me i think you need to give it a minute to cool down but it’s better than kfc it is do you want some chicken they’re all dancing that one why don’t you put more what’s inside not a clue but it’s nice spring onion or something ready mommy try it with the soy sauce i hope that’s soy sauce oh really hot i’m not doing very well there yeah that’s really good um vegetables um i’m not sure but that’s really tasty really nice you don’t know tired until you no no no no oliver food so danny what did you think of the robot cafe the food’s okay the food no the guys were really good yeah they were good yeah it’s quite simple um i i would definitely come to the robots not for the food yeah there wasn’t a great deal of options for the kids though although they got nuggets and chips she’s making ball pool balls of balls of rice and he’s eating the lemon he’s eating the lemon but i enjoyed the guy though chips were nice chips were the chips are really good chicken’s good i enjoy lemons the other downside i suppose is the chicken was a bit late coming and because the robots are your servers it’s quite difficult if there’s a problem at the table but the kids had a great time eating lemon thank you for watching this video don’t forget
