RENEWED @cosme Tokyo tour #japan #jbeauty #shoppinginjapan

at Cosme Tokyo has had a renewal open in March 2025 So let me show you what has changed The entrance stayed basically the same As soon as you walk in you will see the best cosme rankings where you can find award-winning products over the past year When you walk on through to the middle of the store the tester bar area is a lot more open now and has bigger sinks where you can completely cleanse your face and try products Keep walking through to the very back of the first floor and you will find some higherend Japanese beauty brands In the past this used to be the weekly ranking wall where you could see the best performing products of the current week Instead they have now placed the Tokyo sales ranking which is the bestselling products of this specific store to the right hand side The drugstore skincare section has become a lot more condensed and instead a lot more shelf space has been added for hair care along with body care Another big change was that the cash registers are now semi-automated They have staff scanning the products although processing payment and using points has switched to a screen that the customer controls The makeup and nail care section has also stayed essentially the same And now at the front of the store by the window on the first floor they have a mini cosplay section displaying a variety of mini versions of makeup and skincare that is sold in the store Turn to the right once you leave this section and you can make your way up to the second floor using the stairs The second floor had the least amount of changes from what I could tell Mostly stayed the same except that some of the brands had switched around A few more K beauty brands had permanent shelf space and overall it seemed like there were a lot more Korean brands as well as some Chinese brands seen for the first time at at Cosme Towards the back of the store they had more seating areas where you can get consultations from staff on specific high-end Japanese brands And on the very back wall they also had Tokyo sales rankings This section has not changed and it seems like the first floor shows bestsellers for skincare whereas the second floor shows bestsellers for makeup and other products Another new and exciting section was the sheet mask wall where they had covered the whole wall with all of the available sheet masks along with handwritten descriptions by staff And now for the biggest change of the store renewal the addition of a third floor The third floor is a lot smaller compared to the first two although focuses solely on fragrances They have testers for a huge range of fragrances as well as a guide that can help you decide on your new signature scent I love the idea of the new third floor although I’m a little bummed that they got rid of the weekly ranking wall If you’ve been to our Cosm Tokyo before let me know in a comment what you think of the new setup

  1. Wow that is a store I would spend hours in.
Im in the states and because I have a extremely senstive nose its hard for me to go to any beauty stores. Especially, ones like Sephora or Ulta because the smell of all the perfumes, haircare, skincare ect ect. But a floor dedicated to just perfumes and strong smells + air purifiers….that would be a game changer. Also, the sinks…amazing. I wish we had Asain standards of cleanliness and etiquette.

  2. First time to japan. Only visit osaka kyoto nara nagoya kobe. I saw cosme & matsukiyo & donki at osaka. Next time to japan. Definitely need to go to cosme tokyo, its so huge!!
