How to spend a day in downtown Osaka 🐙 Osaka Travel Guide #japanvlog
[Music] so we’re currently in number in downtown Oraka I’ve been living here with my husband K in Osaka for the past year now but I’ve never actually spent a whole day just in this downtown area so that’s what we’re going to do today and we’re starting with a coffee here at coffee [Music] [Music] [Music] so I’ve got my big puffy jacket with me cuz it’s going to be cold tonight but it’s too hot during the day so I’m going to Chuck it in a coin Locker here at the station please select the action you wish to so there’s a few sizes you’ve got a tiny one for 500 yen you’ve got this medium size for 600 Yen and then a big one for 800 Yen so this could Fally fit a suitcase so I think we’re going to go with the 600 y one look please insert the usage fee to get your receipt which is required when you take out your baggage everyone this is the oat milk latte and this is the coffee banana shake it doesn’t look any different to like regular coffee though all I taste is banana [Music] we’re at Namba yasa Ginger which is the famous lion head Shrine it’s very busy here it’s the middle of the day on a weekend but we have come here in the mornings it opens at 6:30 a.m. and if you do manage to come in the mornings it’s way quieter you get the place pretty much to yourself the only thing is there’s nothing else open around here at that time but look at the details so pretty even up here my God now we’re heading to [Music] to so this is nanai number station and then when you walk down this way [Music] down you walk down this way to get [Music] to got this [Music] one I’m so crunchy this one they from original oh it’s [Music] [Music] [Music] powder this is what she’s making [Music] oh the Butter’s [Music] [Music] melting dude look at this that’s cute oh my God that’s so cute that’s a [Music] pretzel I want this one the red Juno one second second best is the tamago [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] what did I get oh my God I got [Music] the we have made it to do body [Music] there he is he all the way up there can you see [Music] him apparently there’s a place where you can get a perfect shot of the G man so this is the clicker here there’s the main bridge and this is where you come in up there and that’s the photo spot right there we’re just making a stop at Starbucks here in D B cuz it has a really nice view so this is eight Takaki for 800 Yen with some ging I’m always scared that I’m going to burn myself things I’ve actually never had takak here in but I’ve always wanted to cuz I always see people doing it on this bridge here so tasty i c that’s so young this area downtown Oraka has a lot of really great vintage in like thrift stores so I think that’s what we’re going [Music] next a it broke is it fixable okay we’ve stuck it back on hopefully it doesn’t fall off again this Main Road here is called it has a Subway going directly below it called the middle C line it has one-way traffic going towards downtown so you can use that to orientate yourself so if you go against the traffic just north of Nay is an area called shinashi which is still technically downtown but just west of M you have an area of shinashi called Amura which is a super cool area with a lot of American influenced apparel stores and thrift shops but yeah we’re in Amic M now it’s a really cool neighborhood there’s a lot of people with really really cool fashion it’s a bit intimidating if they look so good but it’s a really cool area I love coming here [Music] [Music] [Music] oh my God look at the tamagachi [Music] wow did for [Music] [Music] there’s a toilet but how do you get to it [Music] [Music] it’s gotten so much busier here now that the sun’s gone down now we’re heading to go get some [Music] dinner the night Vibes around here are so cool [Music] [Music] [Music] this physical menu is a Japanese but you order through a QR code and then you can select an English menu and then it’ll transl for you into English one of the good things about this place is that it doesn’t have a seating charge and an appetizer so those are two things that normally most isers will automatically add on to your fee for the night but this place doesn’t have that which is pretty rare and yeah just a nice but yeah that’s eat so we’ve got oh we got yakis this too Tower these little wieners shaped like octopus this is bean sprout this Tower is cha fried cha an IC tea a lemon s [Music] [Music] I it’s 8:00 p.m. now and before we head back home we’re just going to see if we can find some dessert [Music] [Music] apparently these are super tasty when they’re warm but because we went at 8:00 p.m. they didn’t have they obviously didn’t have any fresh baked ones and they don’t heat them up so just having cold ones but that’s okay so this is [Music] plain you’re in the middle [Music] buttery next is [Music] maple I like this one better than PL you can taste the Maple and Lex but not Le chocolate [Music] t look it’s nice it’s dark actually this is my favorite of the [Music] three all right time to head [Music] home so it turns out I didn’t need it today but I’m glad I had the corn so I didn’t have to drag it around witho thing you’re coming home with [Music] me come on he’s eating something yum yum yum yum yum yum yum

Watching this after walking for hours around Shinsaibashi 😅
I highly recommend SOT Coffee.
Cute Osaka! Awesome content! Thank you! Fyi.
大阪に住んでいます!
私もコーヒーが好きで、色んなカフェ紹介動画がとても参考になっています(^^)
これからも動画楽しみにしています。
Why are there karts around hahahaha that was surprising won't that be dangerous
hi! recently it's being almost part of my life to watch your videos! And I'd like you to get bronde hair, cause it must be suitable for you and i wanna see that!
06:05 wow your line was short.. :O
I put my headphones and listened to this while multitasking. Found myself just jamming to the great background music vibes. Thanks for this.
We're going to Osaka next April.
I love your videos, I’ve been to a few places there but Osaka was the place that stole my heart. Such soul and lust for food and laughter and life. You and K really reflect that, so kudos! Have you done any videos at the baseball? I knew nothing about the game but seeing it live, with the brass bands and the singing and the raucous yet safe atmosphere, because Japan ❤
Love it , good places to eat & see places , many thanks 😃👍
I was looking up Kandaya Shinsaibashi on your video and when I searched on Tabelog it said its closed not sure why this is the case since I saw a Google review about a day ago that said it was good. Would love to check it out since it looks good.
do we need to pay for the photo spot?
We arrive Sunday to Osaka and your videos are exactly what we need to watch to get the Osaka vibe. Thank you!
