The Globus family of brands announced the expansion of its Asia portfolio in 2026, introducing new and refreshed itineraries across Japan, India, and Thailand.

“Asia is awe-inspiring – but it’s also incredibly complex to navigate solo,” said Stephanie Brooks, vice president, product and operations at Globus.

“That’s why touring is the best way to go. We’ve eliminated the guesswork and elevated the experience to help travellers unlock every ‘wow’ moment – without the worry. These aren’t just trips. They’re once-in-a-lifetime journeys made easy and extraordinary.”

Japan: Off-Season Adventures and Scenic Overnights

In response to “record-breaking” demand, Globus is expanding its Japan offerings with a new Japan Escape itinerary designed for off-season travel between Tokyo and Kyoto, with an optional extension to Osaka. The company is also updating its Visions of Japan tour to include an overnight stay near Mt. Fuji.

Highlights of the Japan Escape include a traditional tea ceremony, cooking class, and visits to 400-year-old gardens, as well as a bullet train journey from Tokyo to Hiroshima. The tour also includes stops at Peace Memorial Park and Museum, Miyajima Island’s floating Torii Gate, Nara Park, and Osaka’s Minami district.

India: River Cruising and Cultural Immersion

Globus is introducing the Heritage of India & the Ganges River itinerary, combining land touring with a 7-night cruise aboard the MV Bengal Ganga. The itinerary features rickshaw rides in Old Delhi, visits to the Taj Mahal at sunset and sunrise, and sightseeing in Jaipur, Kolkata, and Hooghly Imambara. Optional extensions include Varanasi and Kathmandu.

Cosmos, Globus’ value-focused brand, is also debuting the Colors of India’s Golden Triangle & Rajasthan tour, covering Delhi, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, and Mumbai. Experiences include a boat ride on Lake Pichola, train travel to Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Station, and guided visits to major landmarks such as the Taj Mahal and Amber Fort.

Thailand: From Temples to Tea Plantations

Rounding out the expansion, Globus’ new Enchanting Thailand itinerary features a long-tail boat cruise on the Chao Phraya River, a visit to the UNESCO-listed Sukhothai Historical Park, and exploration of Bangkok’s Grand Palace. The tour also includes floating markets, elephant observations, and stops at tea plantations and rural villages.
