We stayed 12 nights in Kyoto in a Mimaru Hotel – Kyoto Nishinotoin.

We have stayed at this property before and it’s a really good choice for people who enjoy staying in apartment style hotels. The location is very good (centrally located but still a few blocks from the most crowded areas), the apartments have everything we needed and the staff have always been very friendly and helpful. It’s also clean and the place is overall in very good shape.

The only negative aspect is that you can’t look out through the windows (at least not from the two different rooms we have stayed in). Also, the floors are (and this is how it usually is in other Mimaru Hotels as well) a bit hard so wearing slippers or some kind of indoor shoes might be a good idea.

Overall – highly recommended!
