welcome to Lake Toya oh I can see people fishing here oh look at the water man beautiful the water is Oh my goodness the water is clear one wow [Music] stone par motor so how go where so I go first okay okay i can drive is it recording already okay sit down all righty oh okay we are going to take a helicopter now thank you very much okay papa look don’t worry look outside look outside you look papa no more no more come on come on so how is helicopter um good but at first I was a bit scared okay then I was still a bit scared then I become better yeah then you say “Oh like it.” Yeah then it was good it was good how’s the volcano you saw the volcano yeah i did I could see the water and the cha say good good yay [Music] okay so this uh Hy pet place then location there’s a a observable a spot to like see the whole toy egg then uh behind us you can see that there’s a svenia shop also so I think this is a good spot to actually stop by just now there’s a poor bus a lot of people now the to gone totally no one really so you can see this place is like all the Hokkaido stuff all the Toya lake stuff a lot of ice cream and your famous okay we are here at Lake Hill Farm let’s go and take a look a beautiful house very nice pizza super good there’s a three five types of cheese rice this the milk milk pudding she say super delicious the best yeah the cr the crust very good very very fresh very flaky then inside the sauce is not overly sweet so creamy and soft very good so apparently this is a restaurant beside you can get ice cream then uh there’s some good views behind the yard i heard there’s a goat there with a real goat that is being chained inside that thing then over there you have some small animals your horse and I don’t know whatsoever you get some flowers here i think the flowers here are nicer if I’m not wrong this is lavender it’s not you can come here and uh take a photo with the tractor uh overall I think this place is uh more for like the food i think uh the view okay if you like it you know besides that uh that’s all maybe a short stop uh should you come here especially for this if you really like cheese a lot you really like pizza a lot uh maybe yeah but uh nothing much nothing much [Music] okay we are at the Toyako visitor center uh behind the toyako visitor center is uh actually a heritage site where you see like the damage done by the earthquake and the volcano eruption so we’re going to go up and take a look uh now we’ll go to the visitor center first fire toilet so this is the Johako visitor center which is also the volcano science museum okay what I know is that there was a G8 conference that was being held at this lake here because uh just now I went past right there was this conference hall that last time all the world leaders from the G8 conference were actually come here so it was once a conference spot so now uh later on I will show you this place okay let’s go okay so here you got to beware of the bears the snake and the red fox and different kind of mushrooms the different kind of insects oh what is this let’s take a look oh this is uh if you go to the toya lake you see all these birds at Toya Lake so this is free don’t need to pay here is the different lakes in Hokkaido so I think the Shikosu is the one nearest to Saporo and now we have a Toya so it tells you some of the information over here like the dep is of the water is 170 m is 265 m a lake that does not freeze oh it doesn’t doesn’t freeze they’re called temperature lake we actually drove past this but we didn’t uh go and take a look so this is actually a lake created by a crater in a pit that was formed after a volcano eruption if you watch our last video we were exploring this Lake Biwa so lake ba is actually a fort lake fort lake is when uh like volcano eruption earthquake the the ground separates and then the water start to accumulate and rub against each other to create a fort and over here at a different dep of the water they show you the different kinds of fishes they can find in the lake so are like streams go a little bit higher don’t get to see the tres all the way up oh my look hey I saw this yesterday yesterday when we were driving I saw him yeah and night last night I saw a raccoon and a deer i haven’t seen a fox yet if you go for the volcano science museum must pay this one don’t need to pay by the volcano i must be roll [Music] around sit down sit down so we see the museum now we are going for the real thing wow look at this we are going to walk there opposite there’s a remains of the volcano eruption oh there’s a UEO site shows the map wow look at the remains of the earthquake not earthquake a volcano eruption i think don’t know is it see here got the mo lav maybe this is a poisonous mo got a lot you see no i say here not cold i ask you to change my what I see wow my See happened 25 years ago it’s all burned by the N [Music] wow see inside real house real shop wow even the vocabi sweat also gone maybe the the what the kids baby uh the baby what don’t know the baby bed this is a condo house I think see it’s part of a this part of a highway last time there’s a bridge here the highway you see they cut the highway away the lampo still there you Wow look at this you can see the entrance of the condo so I think last time the ground was a lot lower hey no this one is okay this one cannot go in oh I see the house inside you see some of the windows broken [Music] no cannot oh this is a balcony look at the damage done some people doing tour [Music] look at this this is a formal residation area that’s where the mud and the lava flows in this area look at this damage this is a broken broken bridge okay we are trying to go and find a volcano crater it’s just right on top uh we have walked for maybe about 20 to 25 minutes i think we’re going to reach soon so all the best to us okay we’re going to find this crater now is it i don’t know should be W we here at the crater don’t stay on the rocks q center wow wow oh my goodness wow wow it got fish one you have to hold you won’t stick you will fall on the way down oh my goodness wow i’m not going to hold you you hold yourself wrong this is the barrier that they have built to protect the town below so that if the volcano erupt again right then this thing will block the l and the ashes and whatsoever from flowing down to the toya town downstairs look at this look at the damage on the buildings man it’s crazy hey so this is uh evening time we are still at Toya Lakes but it’s a drizzling outside it’s pretty cold now so we are lucky because we ended our itinary today earlier because we went to the onsen at like 4:00 then we went to eat then when we eat it start to rain so now it’s like 6:00 so we decided to end the day earlier and rest so that we can go out earlier tomorrow because um the the weather is like uh over here when it rain it’s very hard to go and do all the hiking and see the sea there it’s very difficult so the good thing is we are lucky we already bathe we already eat and then it start raining so now we’re going to go to the sleeping spot then uh we’ll continue our day tomorrow hey yo so small how to see no more wow so small we cannot see from here oh my goodness okay good morning okay just update right we last night we were um trying to see the fireworks that happened uh every day at the Lake Toya at about 8:45 but we were not at like the Toya town we were like the at the Yuki Miimoto area also um it was pretty far away and we couldn’t couldn’t get a good view so if you really want to see the fireworks you got to be near the place where the hotel is where the town and the restaurant is okay uh and it happens at 8:45 every day I think but there’s a season I think it’s April to October or something like that so uh end up we went to the national park we parked there wanted to see the fireworks but the fireworks didn’t wasn’t amazing because it was too far we didn’t expect it to be like far or too small so it was a miscalculation but it’s fine okay we have a lot of fireworks in Singapore then we realized that you cannot park your camper van there uh at the national park car park so end up we come to this uh they call it the Lake Toya uh roadside station so there’s a toilet over there then over here is the shop um I think that staying at the roadside station is the best because uh so far all the roadside station you can like stay overnight uh but the national park you cannot stay overnight so we didn’t know that so we had to change this last minute so today we are heading up uh to the Maote area then we’re going to explore the Mauyote area we are leaving Lake Toya hi okay okay we’re going to this uh we are at Ru Rusu town I think so basically we are heading to Mauy we are going to go to this shop where they sell their like local delicacy for like their sweets and uh it’s I don’t know what is it called i saw the picture of it like so we are walking there to try anyway the weather here in June is pretty drastic in the outskirt because uh like today is a little bit rainy and all the things uh wow it’s really cool you know it goes down all the way i think now it’s like maybe an 8 9 10 around there uh but the other days it can goes up to like 28 25 so the difference is very very big this is the shop that we’re going to try i don’t know is it open today oh my it’s not open so sorry it’s not open okay 11 1213 June is not open sorry we can’t show you but this is the shop hi good morning we’re here uh this place is supposed to uh look at some waterfall spring water kind of thing so uh you got to bring your own water bottle if not you got to come here and buy your water bottle uh then there’s some food here so uh we don’t know what to expect but uh we are going in now unfortunately it’s raining so uh we try our best to hopefully see we still can explore but the rain has already stopped but the wind is really really strong it’s really cold now so over here you get some shops and then here is the place where I told you sell bottles w you see oh my goodness got people buy 20 lit and fill up interesting and there’s a toy shop some coffee wow look at this hold handle whole handle never mind just take one step at a time like that look at me you really can drink the water sh don’t talk don’t talk spring water see the people are filling up the water above don’t touch here you go above and touch hey there drop inside out don’t Don’t Oh you’re very determined very determined too bad I don’t stay here if not I would have f up 25 liter look show me the water hi okay you try i try i try okay now we’re going to try the spring water very cold you see you can see the bottle freezing doesn’t doesn’t have weird taste just like nice mirror water oh this is like a restaurant got restaurant one let me go and take a look got restaurant you can see now that we are leaving now it’s like 10:00 but to all of us is here this is supposed to be the skiing place but there’s no snow now may this is the flower park but the flower are not blooms yet just very very small pink flowers no parking here so I have to park downstairs then walk up this patch has the nicest flower here we have aage manual so this is auditor udon the chicken tempura vegetable okay so uh this is the NO road stop you can see a lot of cars here this is the most busy road stop that we ever seen the last few that we go wasn’t that busy then over here you have a ice cream shop you have like milk c factory but this is not the main one this is just like because everybody stopped here so here I got foot right there you see behind me it’s like food court a lot of shops so we just stopped here because we are driving along the way we are going to visit this salmon fishing pond then uh we heard that this Haru over here this is a bread shop is very famous so we’re going to go and try the bakery shop see if there’s any good breads that you can get okay so just a basic introduction in uh Japan right if you go to the roadside stop uh you get all these things okay uh most of the time there’s definitely toilets i think toilet is a basic then there will be like some shops but the shops doesn’t mean they will open 24 hours the last two that we go there’s no shops that open 24 hours [Music] i remember I saw this as a four season or or four leaves or they say it’s a Japan uh bread like egg bun really here already have okay we’re here at another pond so we’re going to have some fun again let’s go [Music] going to register for the fishing rod so that they can fish let’s see we got fishes here around the water is pretty clear but I don’t see fishes oh they’re all in the pinnes in the middle woo see some action going on school of fish wow the fish the fish are skipping skipping in the water where well play we are paying $2,000 per rod okay okay if you break the rod you need to pay extra $2,000 so must be very gentle with the lock okay that’s number oneh number two okay uh the bait if you want extra you got to pay another 200 yen okay the all the fish catch already let go we need take photo only okay if you want to bring back the fish is uh 250 y for 100 g okay so 1 hour so these two pawns are all small fish behind is big fish okay okay okay so the bit right is is this kind so what you do is like plastering you must wrap it around the hook okay wrap it around the hook in the water don’t do that come man same for take video okay okay okay don’t stay on the rod okay come okay come take photo you want to hold the fish okay come hold because you will jump yeah okay hold the head hold the head okay hold the head okay start already bye okay bye okay now we go to the next whoa fishy fishy come on come on come on you want to hold yeah not easy to hold no can you put the rod yeah no cannot [Music] take big fish i still want to get Okay video okay i have to move your hand one one hand in front ah okay now put under your Okay stay there stay there okay stay there the slow wait for the field to tire you must enjoy and then you a bit tired this hand come out more this come more tire like this very good position very good okay okay one very tight okay one you don’t want leave she want release okay you want to take photo wait wait i take photo i already take video aaron I already take video take video okay you release wait wait okay come okay hold hold it okay gently come nearer [Music] okay come stand down ellie hurry the fish stander stay nearer stay nearer near near put your leg here okay ready one two three bye-bye speak fresh just hold it put it under your armpit champion champion power look at that look at that [Music] sit down sit down 98 okay okay okay okay okay so gi [Music] okay so basically over here right if you come like one adult one kid or one adult one kid can share one rod okay so if you come like two adult one piece I just pay for two rocks okay because he also need to do business he cannot allow you uh to just uh watch and then a lot of people cut around because you will affect the fishing because for pole fishing you got to run around okay so I I’m into fishing so I understand the good thing about this pond is the fish really will bite okay so I think this is a nice place okay the fish really will bite [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] heat heat [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] heat heat [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] heat heat [Music] [Music] [Music]
