Steal My 2 Weeks in Japan Itinerary | Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka & Okinawa Travel Guide
i’m going to give you my two weeks Japan itinary i’m just going to read out and put some video clips or photos for you to see of the activities that I actually did so I arrived there on day one but that was in the evening so I didn’t do anything i just straight up went to bed on the second day according to my itinerary I was supposed to go to Senoji Temple and then that was in the morning and then explore Sukijiji food market also in the morning and then go to Shibuya Sky for sunset in the evening i ended up going to Sensoji Temple and Shibuya Sky but I didn’t go to Sukiji Market this is because I got really bad reviews online about Sukiji Market everyone was saying like things were overpriced and it was nothing special and apparently I didn’t know that outside of the Senoji temple there are food markets around there so I went there with my friend i just met her really but it was a good time we went to the temple and then we went around having snacks around the the that area around Senoji Temple and then we went to see the biggest donkey hotel it’s around that area now I am not sure if it’s the biggest in Tokyo or the biggest in Japan my friend was the one who suggested that we go it was pretty cool like it wasn’t anything crazy to me cuz it’s just a shopping mall but it was cool to see it then in the evening I went on my own to Shibuya Sky for the sunset this is honestly one of my highlights for Tokyo i see a lot of videos being like “Oh don’t go to Shibuya Sky go to this instead.” I mean I can’t comment much on that cuz I’ve never been to the other you know sunset viewing spots but for me I was very satisfied with Shibuya Sky but just a heads up you have to book like a month like exactly a month i think slots get fully booked especially if you want to book like the sunset slot i didn’t get the sunset slot but I booked for around 3:30 p.m i got there a bit late like maybe 30 minutes late but it wasn’t on purpose but they let me in and then I just sat there and waited until the sunset time i think even if you go there like 2 hours before it shouldn’t be too bad there is things to do there like there is drinks you can buy and then there is people i mean I went alone but I ended up meeting some girls there and they took some photos of me and it was a pretty good time the sunset was beautiful i mean honestly this is a 10 out of 10 experience then after that I met up with some friends that I met on this app called BFF together with a girl that I’ve went to the temple with and we had dinner it was really nice meeting new people like everyone is solo traveling in Tokyo like it was really fun to meet like to meet pretty much everyone and then the second day I had planned to go to Tokyo Disneyland but I had crazy rushes all over my face instead of going to Tokyo Disneyland I just chilled the whole day went to the doctor like to the clinic got some meds and then in the evening I had booked a photography tour on Airbnb experiences this is like you get a tour guide who takes you to Shibuya and Shinjuku and they they pretty much act like your tour guide explaining like this place is this this place is that and then they take professional photos of you that was really really good and then now I’m just gonna talk to you about the Tokad Disneyland experience so I don’t get lost because I’m referring to my to my itinerary here i didn’t go on that same day but I did go on a later day and it was good but I had to wake up at like 400 a.m because apparently it was like 2 hours away from Tokyo most people when they go to Tokyo they’re going to stay in places like Shinjuku Shibuya you know around that area got on the first train which is like 500 a.m and then I got around the Toka Disneyland area at around 7:00 a.m there was a lot of queuing but we eventually went in a few minutes before 8:00 a.m it was pretty nice i mostly went there for the Beauty and the Beast ride and it was beautiful but I ended up losing my passport and that’s like a story for another day back to the floor of the itinerary on day four my plan was to book a day trip to Kamakura mind you this is the day after the only thing I did was go to Shuya Crossing and take photography tour so my plan was go to do a day trip to Kamakura with the friends that I met on dinner the first day and then in the evening go to karaoke in Shibuya or Shinjuku and do like the photo booths and just like kind of go around that area cuz when I was with the photographer we didn’t really do much i was kind of in a hurry and I was feeling sick so I wanted to really really experience these places i couldn’t go to Kamakura because first those rushes I was like I don’t think I’ll probably have to put on like a lot of makeup and the heat in Japan and I would just be uncomfortable so I pretty much woke up late and ended up finding out my friends already left Konamakura because you have to wake up pretty early because it’s a day trip so I didn’t go yeah I did go to karaoke in the evening with a friend that I also met on Trip BFF it was really fun we did met at Shinjuku but we didn’t really like the karaoke booths like obviously we’re using Google but we didn’t really like the options there so we decided to go to Shibuya instead cuz we wanted somewhere more laidback it was fun like it was I was really looking forward to experiencing you know Japanese karaoke so that was that was also I think one of my highlights for Tokyo although it’s just like singing but it’s like well I’ve never sang at a booth in Tokyo before so yeah that’s about it day five my plan was to go to Mount Fuji and go clubbing i don’t think I did anything on this day cuz I didn’t go to Mount Fuji and I also didn’t go clubbing while I was in Tokyo i honestly can’t remember what I did but I was probably just being sick with the rushes that I had on day six my plan was to go to Akihabara which is like a place with like for where people go for anime stuff there’s like anime stores and like cafes and all that stuff and then that was my plan for the morning late morning and then in the afternoon I had planned to go to Harajuku for shopping and then in the evening my Airbnb host had invited me before I went to Japan to for dinner just didn’t feel well and I decided to like not go to the dinner but in the morning now the plan was to go to Akihabara but I didn’t go to Akihabara because I was seeing reviews on this place and honestly it’s sounded pretty creepy to me people were saying like you will see child corn pretty much everywhere i don’t think that was the place the kind of place that I wanted to go but I saw a lot of people like suggesting that most girls or just most people who are creeped out by the whole Akihabara thing would get a better time if they went to Iikukuro so I decided to go to Iikabukuro instead and I am glad that I did it’s like a more like chilled cutesy place compared to Akihabara you get like your anime stores but you also get your K-pop stores you also get like nice malls and you also get like nice restaurants and it’s pretty very very clean and I think a lot of younger people hang there like I don’t know I would say like late teens to early 20s most people hang there like a lot of people are like very fashionable and there it’s just pretty cool like I really like the kabukuro I ended up going to buy some merch at the animate store and at this shop called Kbooks where I bought like K-pop and teap stuff and then I went to the Sunshine Mall just walked around to see like some fashion stores and I had like lunch there i really enjoyed my time in Iikabukuro and then in the evening I went to Harajuku i also met a friend there we just pretty much walked around looked at the stores and then we had like some snacks and then we walked together to Shibuya cuz Harajuku and Shibuya is very close and we went to this rooftop like I didn’t know about this place but this guy showed me like there’s a pretty cool rooftop that people hang there it was nice like there were just people playing like Jamaican Nigerian music and then there were people chilling and you can just watch like the trains passing by i honestly forgot the name of this place but I really loved going here day seven was me leaving Tokyo and then in the morning and then visiting Fushimari tempo in the afternoon so I did leave Tokyo but that was the day that I went to Tokyo Disneyland remember I told you that I told you about my Tokyo Disneyland day this was the day that I went i did this in the morning and then in the afternoon I left to Kyoto but by the time I was in Kyoto I really didn’t feel like doing anything else so I didn’t go to the temple that day and instead I went to Fushimaru the next day now my plan for day eight was to go to Nishiki food market and then in the evening stroll along the river during sunset and explore the shopping center at night but instead I ended up doing Fushimari temple King Kakuji Temple and in the evening I did meet up with a friend to have what do you call it you know the Japanese thing where you cook your own meat and eat it the temples were amazing it was actually raining that day but I was lucky when I went to the Gakuji King Kakuji temple it was beautiful this golden temple i met a girl there who was from China she helped me like take photos and videos i also took photos and videos with her and then we walked together pretty much the entire time and then I went to Fushimari Temple and I met this other girl from I think she lived in France but she was African and I forgot the country that she came from but we also clicked and just walked together we took pictures photos together it was pretty cool like it’s so crazy because all this time I’m traveling solo but somehow I’m ending up spending pretty much all of the days with people that in the evening I met with this Japanese girl and we had dinner and then my plan for day nine was to have breakfast at Kumacho Cafe Kumo Cafe cuz I wanted to try matcha in the morning and then have sunset dinner at K36 six but instead I ended up going to Nishiki Market and the Kumona Cafe was really close to Nishiki Market so I pretty much slept in the morning and then in the afternoon I went to have matcha and tiramisu and it was really really good i think this was the best tiramisu I’ve ever had and I know tiramisu is a Japan thing is a Japanese dessert so I should have expected this but yeah but matcha that was my first trying matcha and I think it was okay like I didn’t think it was anything crazy you know how people like it on social media but I guess you know different strokes for different folks and then after that I visited Nishiki Market now when I visited Nishiki Market I also went to this samurai museum that a friend of mine that I met in Tokyo I actually forgot to insert this cuz I did go to dinner with a friend in Tokyo at this Spanish place i forgot the name of this place i keep on forgetting the names cuz a lot of these things the friends that I meet there would suggest and I would just like tag along but yeah as you can see on the video that was pretty nice and then after that we This is back in Tokyo after that we walked around at arcades and it was pretty fun but back to Kyoto that friend that I went with for dinner there is the one who suggested for me to go to the samurai museum and it was really good like I don’t know it was good like they basically just told us like how ninjas started how samurai started and Japanese feudalism how it all went and they showed us like some some tactics that they use like some of their martial arts and then we got to try on the costumes like the samurai uniforms it was really really good that was inside Nishiki Market like pretty much yeah I would say inside like cuz you go into the market and then the museum is pretty much there then I walked a bit at the market had some snacks and headed back home back to day 10 my plan was to go to Osaka in the morning and then got chill at Haruka’s 300 observatory for sunset with city views in the evening i did go to Osaka but in the evening because I was pretty tired I actually decided to go to dobbururi in the evening dobururi is like you know the street where you have like the glcomman billboard and there’s like food market pretty much like where a lot of people when they go to Osaka like they must go there so yeah in the evening I just walked I didn’t even take a taxi or anything cuz I wanted to just like explore the city and I walked up to Donburi was really good i was alone but it’s it was still fun cuz there was so many things to do there there were arcades and then there were food i sat at some caf some like restaurants and ate some Japanese food on my day 10 my plan was to visit Osaka Osaka Castle and then in the evening go to doi but instead in the afternoon I went to Osaka Castle i really love this place like the castle is beautiful i mean there isn’t much to do there but I think if you’re just someone who is fine with just being at like a beautiful place and soaking in the vibes it’s good like I enjoyed it i didn’t go inside because I know some people pay to go inside the castle but I was just outside i sat by the benches i looked at the castle i interacted with some people i took some videos i took some photo and I had a lot of fun then after that I went to Haruka’s observatory remember that my plan was to go there yesterday but ended up going today and oh my god this was one of my highlights of Osaka i am so happy that I went to this place first of all immediately after I got there I ended up meeting another girl who was also alone and then she asked me to take photos of her we took photos of each other and then we were immediately we just clicked and we were like “Yeah let’s just spend the day together.” So we we get our um tickets we get inside i really like this observatory cuz it’s not just like a viewing deck there is like restaurants so you can buy food and actually sit at a proper chair and look outside i was sitting with this girl and then there was this Korean guy who I think was a live streamer cuz he was streaming while playing some like good music that got really well with the views and he’s like we talked to him for a while it was fun like just strangers watching a beautiful view of Asaka and it was a really great time the views at Haruka 300 if you decide to do anything in Osaka please do not skip Haruka 300 this was a very very beautiful i would say I remember how in the beginning of this video I say that Shibuya Sky was amazing i think Haruka’s observatory is 100 times more amazing than Shibuya Sky and this is coming from someone who actually enjoyed Shibuya Sky on day 12 my plan was to go to Universal Studios Japan in the morning and then have dinner at the Koma Italian Terrace now what happened this day is I forgot something after coming back from Haruka Observatory last night I actually ended up going clubbing with some friends and clubbing in Osaka was good like they play like Afro beats and then they play like some Japanese music and then they play like American music this place was so good like I amum Yeah I had a fun experience partying in Japan and then obviously I went to sleep at like 400 a.m.ish and mind you my plan was to go to Universal Studios the next day and most people advise you to go like very early wake up at 6:00 or 7 blah blah blah but I couldn’t do it obviously so I ended up going to Universal Studios at like 2:00 p.m immediately when I got there I booked my slot for Nintendo World cuz you know how everyone was going to see Nintendo World at that time it was pretty new so I got a slot for 6:00 p.m and then I realized they also had a show for One Piece and I love One Piece i also booked a ticket to go see the One Piece show and then afterwards I I went to Hogwarts and did the Harry Potter ride i forgot the name of this ride but that was really really fun and then after that I went to eat some food i watched the sunset there what so and then afterwards I went to Nintendo World and watched the sunset show that was amazing and then day 13 my plan was to go to Okinawa in the morning and then go to Fukushian Garden and then explore Kokusai now my Okina trip went completely opposite because according to my itinerary I planned pretty much things around Naha which is the capital city because I didn’t I don’t know how to drive and obviously I would need like a driving license to drive around Okinawa okinaw is there isn’t as good transport systems as there is in Tokyo Osaka like there isn’t trains and the buses might come or might not come and I wasn’t going to risk it so I’ll just read out my Okina itinerary and give you how it all went so my plan was the day the first day to go to Fukushian Garden and then in the evening explore Kokidori and then the next day go to beach 51 and Banta Cafe and then another day go to Gokuendo Cave and STEM Resort Creative Playground and then go to American Village and go at Naha Beach but I ended up meeting this girl who had two Japanese friends who were guys and we ended up doing a road trip this is why I honestly don’t know the exact spots that I went to i remember we went to an aquar like I don’t know the exact names cuz it was just like driving around all these days i stayed for maybe 3 days i didn’t stay there the whole trip because I had to go back to Tokyo because told remember I told you that I lost my passport so I ended up going on a road trip and I didn’t go to Naha Beach but I ended up going we ended up going to an aquarium and then we went to this museum that was dedicated to some a girl school that was a big part in the world war and we got to learn the history of Okinawa in that sense and then went to this we ran into this cave which is was also part of the world war where some soldiers like hid in there and then we went to a lot of beautiful beaches i actually I’m pretty sad that I don’t remember the names because the beaches in Okinawa are very very very beautiful and then we also went to this viewing point there’s a lighthouse and there’s a very very beautiful view from up there and then at the last day we also went to American Village it’s basically just like an imitation of maybe I don’t know it didn’t look like America to me but you know they had like the states and some flags and some restaurants and some steak houses i mean we did have we went to an to a hotel and had some steak and whatever but it was pretty good like I enjoyed the whole thing this is my whole Japan itinerary feel free to copy it i make videos on travel things like story times advice tips and also some insight into working
