Built in 1904 and designated as Important Cultural Property of Japan, Nakanoshima Library in Osaka is still in service today. The stairway of the Central Hall elegantly spread toward the bottom like a long train of wedding gown, and the banisters and columns are so delicately curved that you can’t take your eyes off.
