This is Shizuoka Prefecture I moved to a place called Fujinomiya City in Shizuoka Prefecture Originally, when I started my journey around Japan, I wasn’t thinking about moving at all I was thinking that after finishing my journey around Japan, I might go back to Miyazaki Prefecture and do some camping While many people who travel around Japan set goals like deciding on a place to move, we were in a position where we weren’t considering moving at all, but after traveling around Japan, things changed The truly good, fun, and beautiful aspects of Japan After seeing so much, I’ve developed a desire to live in places other than Miyazaki Prefecture Of course, it’s not that I dislike Miyazaki Prefecture or Kyushu We talked about how we want to go out more, and we agreed that it would be nice to have a place that’s easy to go out to I really love Miyazaki Prefecture, but it’s definitely a bit further south in Kyushu The biggest issue is that it’s a place that’s hard to go outside, which led us to decide to move The only place we’ve lived together is Miyazaki Prefecture One reason is that we have never lived together in any other place Additionally, in order to pursue our ultimate goal of opening a coffee shop, we decided to consider our living situation, which ultimately led us to the decision to leave Miyazaki Prefecture After finishing my trip around Japan, when I returned home and talked about moving to my parents, they were a bit surprised In the end, they kindly supported us with the understanding that ‘it’s your life.’ I think there are privacy issues to consider when sharing the location of our move, but there are also things I definitely want to convey to everyone as we continue this conversation I would like to report that I have moved to “Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture.” Now, I will talk about the reasons for choosing “Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture.” There are many places I want to go to As a result of focusing on the aspect of ‘living’, Ultimately, our opinions converged on either ‘Shizuoka Prefecture’ or ‘Gunma Prefecture’ I later learned that ‘Gunma Prefecture’ and ‘Shizuoka Prefecture’ were among the top two desired relocation destinations in various surveys Of course, there are many attractive places all over Japan, The two prefectures that came up in our discussion were these two There are many detailed reasons, but I think the conditions for the place we want to move to include ‘clean water’, ‘abundant nature’, along with ‘easy camping’ and ‘a place that doesn’t get snow and is comfortable to live in’ The part about “not snowing” is basically Ryo’s opinion Please don’t blame others Anyway, since we are not used to living in a snowy country, We thought it might be a bit tough to live there, which is why we mentioned that as a condition One of the reasons we ultimately chose Shizuoka Prefecture is that it feels somewhat similar to the climate of Miyazaki Prefecture The sea looks beautiful, and it’s relatively warm throughout the year Also, it’s a place where it doesn’t snow Aside from that, the duration of stay in each prefecture varies when traveling, so it’s hard to generalize One reason I can mention is that when I talked with people from Shizuoka Prefecture, I felt that our regional characteristics as people from Miyazaki might be compatible I felt a very close sense of calmness and relaxation This might be the most significant reason I can mention One reason is that Shizuoka Prefecture is in a very accessible location It’s also easy to travel to as a destination I also attend coffee seminars and such I think I would like to try that in the future Things like that are usually not found unless you’re close to the city We don’t hold coffee seminars or anything like that I thought that Shizuoka Prefecture would be the best location since it’s very close to the Kanto region I am still amazed that the sign says ‘Tokyo is 100 kilometers away.’ The reason I chose ‘Fujinomiya City’ within Shizuoka Prefecture is related to this After all, there are still some places where I feel scared about earthquakes I thought about places where there is not much concern for tsunamis Even when I was living in Miyazaki Prefecture, I was always thinking about tsunamis Due to work-related reasons, I just can’t live on a high ground I have been looking for a house on a high ground, saying that I really want to live on a high ground However, due to the availability and other circumstances, I haven’t been able to live on a high ground After all, it was a situation where I was constantly on edge with anxiety It’s a luxury, but the fact that I can choose is important I had a hope to live as high up as possible Since Mount Fuji is very close, we can always see our admired Mount Fuji Once we go down to Fujishi, we can see the beautiful ocean as well Considering the rich nature I mentioned earlier, we ultimately decided on this place I think that if Mount Fuji were to erupt, that would be the end of it If an earthquake occurs, it’s also possible that it could trigger an eruption of Mount Fuji Of course, I am aware of the possibilities and have chosen this path knowing that That’s where I’m somewhat prepared for it I think there are people who don’t know about ‘Fujinomiya City’, so I would like to introduce what kind of place it is By the way, we also introduced it on YouTube when we visited Shizuoka Prefecture It’s a little, but there are places introducing gourmet food, so please take a look at those as well If I had to pick the easiest place to understand, there’s a famous campsite called ‘Fumotoppara Campground.’ It’s located within a 30-minute radius from there It’s amazing, isn’t it? Before we traveled around Japan, it was truly a place I dreamed of From the perspective of someone from Kyushu, I think ‘Fumotoppara’ is like a sacred place I’m surprised that it’s within a 30-minute radius from such a place, and I really want to go there a lot To be honest, I was thinking that I wanted to go camping today with just the two of us for our first camping trip at ‘Fumotoppara’ The weather is quite rainy, so I’m filming at home As for other information, the population as of April 1, 2025, is “126,348 people.” That’s what was written by the city hall Well, after that, we increased in number At least, it means that two more people have joined us It seems that the city has become quite popular with many newcomers By the way, are you all familiar with the ‘Asama Shrine’? There are many ‘Asama Shrines’ across the country, and the main shrine, ‘Fujisan Hongu Asama Taisha’, is also located in Fujinomiya City It is said that the origin of worshiping Mount Fuji as a sacred object was to subdue the volcano that the ancient people feared There is a lot more detailed information available, but In simple terms, this is the gist of it It’s located quite close to the ‘Tomei Expressway’, so I think the access is really good According to what I’ve heard from the locals, it’s a place that many foreign tourists pass through, but Japanese tourists seem to be quite few I’ve heard that it’s a place where people don’t visit very often Geographically, it’s located at the foot of Mount Fuji, so it’s a hilly town Fujinomiya City also serves as a gateway for climbing Mount Fuji Especially in the northern part, the nature is abundant, and you can see Mount Fuji really beautifully Honestly, there aren’t many days when you can see Mount Fuji clearly, but there are times in the morning or when the fog clears It’s really beautiful, and you can also see Mount Fuji with the sunset shining on it in the evening I see Mount Fuji every day Every day, we make sure to check Mount Fuji from our room Now that the snow is starting to melt, we are also enjoying that observation There are currently no inconveniences in my life There are supermarkets and large shopping malls like Aeon Mall, and drugstores are well-stocked, so I don’t feel any inconvenience at all I’m still exploring affordable ways to return to Miyazaki for my hometown visit Should I take the Shinkansen, go to Tokyo and return by plane, or should I drive back? There are various options, but actually, I also want my family to come and visit I think we need to explore how to get back from now on It’s about whether or not to permanently reside in Shizuoka Prefecture From our perspective, for now, we are considering living in Shizuoka without a set deadline, and moving forward to the next step In the final stage, our hope is to return to Kyushu However, I am not really considering leaving right now, so I plan to think about it in line with my lifestyle Fujinomiya City is very attractive because it is such a quiet place However, the abundance of events is one of its attractions There are many festivals around ‘Asama Shrine’, so those events are also enjoyable When the season for climbing Mount Fuji arrives, the number of tourists increases even more I really like how lively it is, and I also appreciate the quiet parts Next, the flow after our trip around Japan and our current situation And now, I will talk about work I finished my trip to Okinawa at the end of February and returned to Miyazaki I was living at my family home in Miyazaki while working part-time Actually, both of us had started job hunting even before the trip ended While we were in Okinawa, it felt like we were actively job hunting, doing things like having online interviews and submitting documents It’s part-time work, but I did some part-time jobs through Timee There was a time when I worked part-time at an izakaya (yakitori restaurant) through a connection of an acquaintance After finishing my travels, rather than just spending time at my parents’ house, I lived a life where I edited videos while working part-time and job hunting every day To be honest, after returning to Miyazaki, I was involved in activities like camping Going out to eat gourmet food and such I was thinking about promoting the charm of Miyazaki, but the reality is that I completely lost that time and was really just living at home while working part-time However, there is one thing I want to make sure to convey I used to go to izakayas and other places with friends in Miyazaki The food in Miyazaki is definitely delicious I really thought it was incredibly tasty this time The seafood, mountain delicacies, meat, and vegetables are all delicious The fact that everything is delicious is truly the charm of Miyazaki Prefecture I really want everyone to enjoy the gourmet food of Miyazaki If I have the opportunity, I would like to introduce it again someday To decide on a house and for a job interview I have once traveled by car all the way to Shizuoka Prefecture It was early April, wasn’t it? The reality is that you actually came all the way here That time was just when the cherry blossoms were beautiful, and Mount Fuji still had a solid cover of snow, so it was truly a spectacular view It was really super beautiful I started living in my current house during the Golden Week in May, when I moved It’s been about two months since May I think life has settled down a bit recently However, we sold all our belongings before we started our journey The furniture and appliances are still not set up at all I only have the bare minimum, and the curtains are mismatched I don’t have a desk or chair, so I’m still sitting on this camping chair So, you know, I’m gradually trying to gather household items while really saving money, and I feel a bit embarrassed to say this, but this is how I’m living This will be my lifestyle since I started living in the house As I mentioned earlier, I still don’t have any furniture or appliances, so I don’t have a TV, and I also don’t have a washing machine So, I don’t watch TV For now, I’m living in a way similar to when I was traveling, taking my laundry to a coin laundry and washing it all at once Since I lived without a microwave for almost a month after moving, I would cook one cup of rice and eat it for the day, and I was living with the thought of wanting to cook again, but somehow I prioritized buying a microwave, so my life with a microwave has been delayed Since I was living in my car, I realized that I can get by with just the bare essentials We were used to it, so we didn’t have any worries there, and it wasn’t really a hardship However, it feels really lonely because it’s so spacious, and my voice echoes I don’t feel at all like I’m living at home right now I usually get home from work earlier than others Right now, I’m in charge of dinner, so I can’t think about it I make it every day On my days off, I usually cook, but basically, when I come home, Ryo-kun is the one who has prepared dinner For breakfast and lunch boxes, I ask Ami-san to take care of it Since both of us leave for work at a late hour, I have quite a bit of time in the morning, and I tend to stay up later at night Also, one thing that has changed since I started living in this house is that it’s become much easier to go to the bathroom Since I started living here, I’ve definitely gained some space Recently, I’ve started working out again That’s great! I want to keep working out while traveling around Japan I talked about various things on the radio Realistically, it was almost like I wasn’t doing it at all I did a little bit occasionally, like going to a hot spring It has been successfully resumed With just a 5-kilogram dumbbell and push-up bars, I also feel like I’m doing bodyweight training Ami is also thinking about becoming more beautiful due to work-related reasons from now on That’s right You train at home, right? Yes, I intend to I’m not able to do it at all In reality, we are already turning 30 years old Ami will be 30 years old tomorrow I will turn 30 soon By the time this video is uploaded, I will have turned 30 We feel like we have accomplished what we wanted to do for now, so while it’s a blessing, we are also thinking that we would like to have children It’s obvious, but I think having a stable life is the most important thing In our case, it’s a bit difficult to make a living solely from YouTube revenue, so I’ve started considering getting a job I’ve found a job that connects to the next step, so I would like to report that as well First, please start with Ami’s job I am currently working at an esthetic salon in Fujinomiya City Mainly hair removal, lymphatic massage, and facial esthetics Helping to improve blemishes and wrinkles I am working at a total beauty salon Many people around me run esthetic salons, and I’ve had more opportunities to experience treatments myself, which is something I’ve always been interested in, so I decided to take on this challenge and got a job I also tried interviewing for a beauty nurse position, but unfortunately, I didn’t get it I considered nursing positions at clinics as well, but I couldn’t find a place that matched my criteria This time, I will be working at a beauty salon instead of as a nurse Through the treatments, I can heal people It was also something that I could give back to my family, like Ryo-kun, as well as my parents, friends, and those around me I think it will be a job that can be useful not only for work but also in my private life In fact, since I am still a trainee, I have Ryo-kun model for me at home, and I practice lymphatic and head massages on him, which I think is beneficial for him Before going to bed, I have Ami give me a head massage I feel sorry for you being tired, but I am being healed In the future, I would like to run a coffee shop together, but realistically, I want to prioritize stability in my life, so I want to secure a solid job As I mentioned earlier, I am also considering the children’s future I got a job considering maternity leave, childcare leave, and my return afterwards The esthetic salon I work at is one where clients purchase courses rather than paying per visit I can’t easily say that it’s okay to come in for a single session If there are any of you who can come, I would be happy to receive a DM from you It would be nice, wouldn’t it, if we could provide treatment like that? about what I want to do from now on I work at a café I work at a café called ‘Model Coffee’ in Fujinomiya City There are quite a few cafes in Fujinomiya City, among which are real estate, agriculture, the lodging industry, and the cafe food service industry This cafe is run by a small company that operates in all four of these sectors Including the stand, there are three cafes located near ‘Asama Shrine’ In particular, the ‘JINQ store’ is the main cafe It has a calm atmosphere and is truly a wonderful space, so I would like to recommend it to everyone Of course, we offer several types of coffee, as well as a curry lunch menu and homemade sandwiches with our special drinks This is a cafe that mainly serves our signature cream puffs and prince sweets Actually, we’ve tried them all, and they are delicious It looks cute too I think the stylishness and deliciousness are its selling points That’s how I feel about it Often, we have been participating in events as vendors For instance, we have set up shop at the Aeon Mall in Fujinomiya City and Lalaport in Numazu City This is a café that also engages in external sales During this interview, I talked about my past experiences and the things I would like to pursue in the future The interview was conducted very thoroughly On the day of attendance, I received a message from our president Currently, we are providing beans sourced from a coffee shop called Model Coffee, but I was also considering roasting our own beans in the future, and if possible, I would like Terada-kun to take the lead on this I was told that I would like you to study in the future so that we can sell our own roasted beans from Model Coffee We’re not really starting on this yet, of course There will be some points that might change from now on I think there are still some unclear points as well I really want to support our future dreams as well Since the president mentioned it, if I have the opportunity to do this, I want to give it my all, and of course, it will also be for my own benefit I want to do my best for Model Coffee I’m currently thinking about it I introduced it in a video in Mie Prefecture I had the pleasure of being at ‘Minamata Coffee’, what was said at that time was that working at the shop makes you adopt their way of doing things, and that their way is considered correct, which leads to a bias towards that flavor I had received advice on those points as well This model coffee is a great opportunity for Ryo-kun to explore on his own and also create the flavors of that shop I personally thought it was a really good aspect Certainly, thank you I don’t know what will happen from now on, but… I wonder if we can connect to selling coffee beans as soon as possible I have a vague feeling about it I have had quite a few opportunities to talk with the president The president has a strong desire to contribute to Fujinomiya City, which I think is really wonderful I’ve been working at the workplace for another month, and the people here are really wonderful I truly feel blessed to be surrounded by such great people even at this point Until I move on to the next step, I will continue to learn here I hope to gain experience while learning about managing the shop and roasting coffee, as well as various other things I’m not trying to flatter anyone by talking about this I’m sharing this here because it’s my honest opinion, not because I’m trying to curry favor with the shop staff It’s difficult to have my own store right now In reality, that’s the case, so we appreciate those who take the time to watch I
